Unbelievably excited about this. I love the new MC's design - it feels like a very deliberate reaction to the overt masculinity of P4's MC without crossing over into meek androgyny, similar to P3's MC.

A lot of other stuff in this trailer, too. The newsboard at the beginning is all negative media - a car accident, raised taxes, a banner about bullying issues, and something about a murderer on the loose. In almost every shot, someone's looking at, putting away, or taking out a cellphone. There's also a humanoid figure in the flames being reflected in the MC's glasses. Might be something related to a Shadow, but I'm more inclined to believe it's his Persona.

Loved the oppressive tone in general. Seems like a fairly radical departure from P4 (much as the MC himself is), something more in like with P2: Eternal Punishment, which I can definitely get behind.

Yeah, I think the themes in this game are supposed to be the chains of society and how to find yourself in spite of them. Which are going to be really cool.

...it has always been 2015 though. The first release date info only said "Winter", this is when it was almost Winter 2014, too unrealistically fast. Obviously it must've been Winter 2015. Doesn't seems like there will be a simultaneous English release, unfortunately, but that's to be expected.

Anyway, I'm liking the look so far, as well as what looks to be the theme.
 
Since the themes are about breaking the bounds of society I'm hoping we get characters that go farther in various ways than Kanji and Naoto did. And even Yukiko.
 
Does any one know when the Europe SMT 4 is getting released? Its supposed to be September and I want to play it already!

OH MY GOD

I loved this game even when we knew nothing about it and everyone was assuming a P4 clone. And Atlus just goes lolnope and annihilates everyone's expectations.

THE HYPE IS VERY REAL

(I really hope the full body Persona thing means everyone gets tons of fabulous outfits. Even if it means stepping back from the Wild Card or just using sub-Personas or something.)
 
I just gained all the Hype.

Welp, if they really relase it for the PS3 i may have to re-buy it.(I am not buying the PS4 when it lack retro compatibility with the PS3 and most of the game on it doesn't interest me)

Thanatos and Izanagi had awesome designs, but this one definitely takes the cake. I wonder if that means the full body Persona will just be a super mode? Or maybe the other way around, with a proper Persona summoning saved for special attacks?

Any bets on who the Persona represents? The top hat and coat aren't particularly evocative, but then again Izanagi didn't really call anything to mind either, so...

In other news, apparently that cat is female.
EDIT: and named Morgana.
FURTHER EDIT: and the girl is called Anzu Takamaki(高巻杏), the guy is called Ryuuji Sakamoto (坂本竜司).
Also, there's something about the Seven Sins?
