I presume we might potentially not get attacked by monsters because we're likely one ourself but best not mention that to Flora even if she already knows that. I guess this might explain why we don't have a race. As monsters aren't a part of the races but a different species altogether. I'm guessing we might not be able to take classes such as knight or priestest. But something along the line of Silver Golem, Gold Golem or another monster species and become basicly recolors of our previous selves or become twice as big.

Guys, we've got 40 HP left. It takes two turns to get from the pedestal to here, and presumably the same amount of time to get back. We can spend 4-6 turns more here, no problem. No need to rush.

Unless the damage number starts rising unexpectedly, then we should run back ASAP.

Well, that's either a very good thing or a very bad thing.
A monster showed up and we pissed off the only other person we've met so far, so I don't think it's a very good thing. Speaking of that second thing...


Yeah, I dunno what they were thinking either. (It usually feels rude to point out that other people's suggestions are kinda silly in the context of other stuff they want to do, but it feels more acceptable when the characters in the story are also calling them out.)

Alright, let's see. There's the north garden, the path-that-isn't-a-garden, the central area, and add an extra turn to hop on the pedestal just in case. I'm not sure if it actually takes a full turn to cross each area when we're not doing anything else, but to be safe we should probably head back when we're at 20-25 HP. Or a bit earlier, to be safe, but I think we owe our new friend an apology team-up.

[X] Feed Flora to the flower eating monster. It's clearly a powerful potential ally and doesn't nag at us for walking around.

[X] Sneak behind the monster and attack using the scythe.

Kinda surprised it didn't noticed Flora's yelling and the fact it didn't attack us yet. Maybe it won't notice the heavy footsteps of a statue?
 
We can take her, especially if we whack her while she's fighting the monster. If we alpha-strike her, managung to inflict bleed and presenting her as a more injured and appealing target, we can chew through her 15 HP in two or so turns, especially after inflicting bleed.

Taking into account GreatWyrmGold's estimate of needing 20-25 HP to make it back to the pedestal, so long as we don't take more than 4 damage from Flora's 1d3 staff we should be good. Worst case scenario, we can run away and let either bleed or the monster finish her off.

Better yet, if the monster kills and eats her we have plausible deniability.

Nobody knows, and we need to start leveling as soon as possible.

Also, take her stuff and see if we can sell it.
