Fair enough, in the eyes of Westerosi culture it just doesn't have the same kind of tangibility as actual land or an inheritance thereof.

This does make me wonder, what are our plans for getting Aemon some goods? Are we just banking on becoming MoW for Rhaegar eventually, or winning some land in whatever war ends up happening? Something else?

That is a good question. I don't think we ever discussed what we wanted to do. At least this chapter had us complete step 1. We proved our value to Rhaegar and had him rely on us. This completed the objective of the last vote. And Daeron went a step ahead and became real close to Rhaegar. And with Visenya bein Rhaegar's wife...we are now firmly in Rhaegar's camp barring some disaster. Where to go from here...depends a lot on what happens next. If a conflict of some sort? Clear path to making some accomplishments and getting rewarded big time. If not...then wait until Rhaegar is King and be made MoW or MoL. Fairly simple. A more creative option...might be if we can convince Rhaegar into doing something like an expedition into Old Valyria. People in Essos are finding treasures there. Very possible that we can find some good shit there too...perhaps even moreso thanks to our Targ blood? Might allow access to stuff not accessible by others thanks to bloodmagic being used to protect things?

I thought we were gonna dip after the bank is finishing setting up. Cause tbh I just want to travel and experience the world.

Even if you don't want to go for Lyanna we should try to wait for a bit as the options aren't that great here except for Ashara.
If we wait a bit and grow in power more options will open up.

Plans weren't really discussed in detail from what I remember. Some concepts were thrown around. I do think that exploring the world is something that should be done. Aemon loves mysteries and magic, going out and seeing the world will have him come in contact with that sooner. Maggy said that to learn magic we should go to Asshai...which is something I do suppose down the line. Qarth has the warlocks but those are a dangerous bunch that you can't really trust. And of course Old Valyria is slowly becoming accessible so exploring that is a must.

I think once we become a knight(?) and have it so that Rhaegar won't immediately do something fucked up (getting real close to Bobby's Rebellion time) it should be safe for us to travel the world. And we have plenty of time. Maz said that the quest timeline will run to the books era. We got decades to do stuff.
