Bloody Evolution (RWBY / LoR)

[X]Whatever we decide on, we're not leaving you alone until we get to see the look on Roland's face when you present him with his revived unborn daughter.
-[X] and then the look on his face when he realizes he now owes you a favor/debt of gratitude.

It's a bit strange looking back on things...

But I find it quite the missed opportunity that the Quest's protagonist was Binah and not Roland.

Especially with the choice of Abnormalities like the Magical Girls and Ash's existence.

Unless things go absolutely pear-shaped with trying to Book Salem then it seems like we're leaving them Jester and an uncontrolled Grimm population.

Those seem like problems we should at least meddle in a little bit, but idk.
yeah, I agree. Leaving the jester to just chill out there doesnt quite sit right with me, for a couple reasons.

[ ] Yes
-[ ] Look for where the Jester has gone.

Anyone have a good way of combining these?
ED: would you say that tacking the main of the first onto the sub of the second works?

[X] Yes
-[X] Look for where the Jester has gone.
-[X] We're not leaving you alone until we get to see the look on Roland's face when you present him with his revived unborn daughter.

like this?

- [X] Investigate the location and activities of the jester, though we half suspect you already do know and just haven't mentioned it to us.
- [X] Do what you want, we're sure you have something interesting in mind.

Here, have another half baked plan.

Roland already owe Binah a debt way back in the Philosophy realization.

Also, might want to take the MGs and Jester back home tbh.
If nothing else, Tiph will be quite sad that all her abnormality friends are leaving her.

Honestly, I was thinking about how 'The Path to Isolation' would be a great fit for Weiss if she was like in RWBY:Ice Queendom. I wonder if Weiss would have taken the guise of a servant of wrath, or would she have fought a servant of wrath and a hermit?

Either way, my choice is obvious:

Might as well vote for what I said I'm interested in:

[x] Yes
-[x] Give some advices to Winter and Weiss on how to topple their father's empire. Maybe give them the means to create Dust to help with it?

[X] Yes
-[X] What happened with the Jester after he was summoned on Remnant? They've been surprisingly quiet for an Abnormality that should be attracting Grimm to it like a magnet.
-[X] Going by Love's progress, the Magical Girls should be fine on Remnant. It might take a while without you pushing their buttons though, so maybe poking them one last time is warranted?
-[X] Kill Jacque Schnee. Or topple his Dust Empire. Either works. The man is insufferable and deserves worse, but one or the other is acceptable.
-[X] We want to see Roland's face when he figures out who Ash is. Maybe buy her clothes that make her look like Angelica? Or would that be too blunt?

[X] Just do as you want

I really doubt the jester won't show up, they'll come eventually, but I do want to see Binah go on autopilot aswell

Alright, closing the votes here. Let's see what-

[X] No, continue once you're ready
[X] Make sure Ash has no unresolved business. In case there's something to do with that one cat.

...

The fact aside that most people could not agree on plans at all, the only option consolidating enough equal votes to take the lead is a "whatever option is chosen" vote. I am not sure what I expected of this, but that was not it.

Anyway, I tallied all the Yes votes together and unified them under the plan that satisfied the majority of the separate requests. That being to look for the Jester.

That aside, a friend gifted me the LoboCorp artbook for Christmas and I obtained the LoR one earlier today. I am also halfway through Ice Queendom and wonder what elements from it I was supposed to use for this Quest; the vast majority that is not just RWBY itself in anime style happened in a dream so far.

That's the joys of non important votes where everybody wants something but nobody wants the same thing.

I, for example, didn't care much about searching for the Jester because I think we'll find them close to Salem anyway, but found toppling the SDC more interesting, but since nobody really argued either way, the votes were unfocused.

While I am slightly sad we won't make Jacque's life a hell on earth, I am not that attached to it, hope we'll see Weiss and Winter succeed.

Winter? really?, she's just as culpable as ironwood and more of a dick because she's weiss' family who should be supproting her friendship with courage.
Not to mention she's a member of the atlsean armed forces, isn't actively helping faunus, and is a schnee.

honestly all of the schnee's except for weiss are trash.

Weiss got a chance to develop. From vague memories, the fact they had a brother was never mentioned or at least wasn't important to them enough to mentioned.

The sisters always seem like they cared and got each other's back (for the most part). Yet when it come to their younger brother, he doesn't seem... important to them? Weiss left him alone with their "colorful" father and alcoholic mother, and Winter left both of her siblings yet make an effort for Weiss.

So to me, he seems like the "last pick" of the family. So when his father showed him attention when both his sisters who also seemly ignore him left, he might have latch onto that. Though then again, I haven't been keeping updated with RWBY so new information might have added in new info.

Personally, I suspect that Whitley was not originally planned (hence no mention of him anywhere) or became a victim of the massively bloated cast gobbling up screentime.

The more recent Volumes catch up on him and the Schnees, though. From what I gathered, I believe the idea was that the three Schnee children are just awful at communicating (with each other and in general) due to how they were raised. Hence why Weiss and Whitley mutually believe the other does not care for them, and thus do not quite make an effort. Winter could easily be kept away by big daddy's attention, going by the implications that they had a falling out when she left.

The whole situation is a mess that I personally think RWBY lacks the delicacy (and time) to handle properly. But the root of the problem is definitely the parents.
