Ok, we must use that to topple the schnee empire, this is too good of an opportunity, I really want to take it.
Oops, seems like we killed Amber for good, no chances of recovery now. Oh well, so, can we do the same with the other half of her soul? That would give us quite a good reserve of Dust I wager.

Also, an important note, the fact that Amber has not woken up, something that Salem may very well know due to her spy in the ozmuminati, indicate to them that Cinder's still alive, meaning that not giving it back to Amber will make them use up ressources in the futile search for her kidnappers.

The only thing left is the magic graft, the part of Amber soul has been burned, it is way more safe now than it was before due to that.

As Courage pointed out, the very core piece of Amber's soul is still there. Everything that made it Amber is gone, but the rest of her still misses that piece.
As I said, everything is safe and everything is fine.
More reasons to go straight for the *get the other half for yourself* vote, then, easier to get rid of the remains of Amber left that way.

Despite what Binah may think - our mission here is still looking for Salem.
We can do it twofold: extract information from her agents or her enemies. The latter could be far harder now that we killed Sinder and her minions.
On the opposite we already have positive-ish contact with Ozpin. Moreover we can bargain with him with our half of fall maiden.
We can probably bargain with Salem's agents too but first - they know less about maidens and magic in general, and second - they would be far more wary of her.
Now Binah don't know what we know yet. So she can't go to Ozpin right away. But we can create a necessary situation.

I wonder if Binah can just ...try to bring the Singularity back eventually? Otherwise I don't see how answering this question is more beneficial to the Library than focusing on finishing the mission (admittedly, one can lead to the other)
