Bloody Evolution (RWBY / LoR)

By the by, some food for thought: after musing over Blood Evolution and In The Name Of Love And Hatred, I realised that the Quest featuring an actual monster had a far lower body count than the one featuring a human. And the latter is not even complete yet.

Love has killed a lot more people in Remnant due to two factors: Finding the White Fang early on (took her a while to find the Yakuza), and there not being witch barriers to fight the Queen of Hatred in, which is what saved that city from getting hit Arcana Slave.

And love didn't really have us pushing her to stop killing, So she is still using her black and white world view, only with a little bit doubt in her saying that she don't have to think like that.
In ItNoLaH, We grabbed that little doubt, teared it open, and smeared Ais consciousness with it until she changed.

There's just a lot more we can get away with in Remnant than on Earth. If we tried this shit in Mitakihara, Madoka would've made a wish and we'd have to deal with the consequences.

In other news: Roland's a fucking monster. On my third try getting Arbitrating the Arbiter, he failed to roll Furioso against Zena's Shockwave, got punched by Baral, and still managed to survive at 1 HP and punch Baral back with his other Speed Dice. And he was alive rather than in one of those 'you have to wait until next turn for me to die' death-throes enemies gated at 1 HP have, as far as Arbitrating the Arbiter was concerned, since I got the achievement and the One True Book right after.

Canonically, he's the only guy in the whole game (Outside of Realization) who has to get his ass beaten 4 goddamn times before he calls it quits.

He's definitely up there amongst the god-tier colors.

Hmm, let me see the contenders:

-Phillip very clearly wins, since not only does the crying children has more phases, he still wasn't dead at the end of it. :V

Ok, slightly more serious and just on the top of my head:

-Greta is probably the only one that reach an equivalent number of HP as his second phase, but that's only one phase and she doesn't have any moments of pure ineffective all across the board.

-Pluto has his barrier, the dirty cheater. Only two phases and not much HP however.

-Xiao does go for three fights before calling it quit, Roland still has that beaten since he goes for way more.

-Yan might count? His hands makes him far more tanky than he should be.

Yeah, the guy doesn't actually has close competition there, he's probably the tankiest color you meet.

I think it's more accurate to say that Roland has high endurance rather than high defense.

His passives, cards, and general abilities just don't scream "I can take hits".

But the guy just straight up doesn't want to die.

:V District 12 News Reporting: Local man too angry to die. Says "I will kill all of those who are responsible for my wife's death!" before going on a rampage and murdering half the Middle finger in the south section of the city. In other news, local restaurant HamHamPangPang hits it big with the Distortions, they say "It enlighten the soul".

after the tale of Angela
binah:"That's where the story ends."
Penny:*Vietnam war PTSD with daddy issue forming in her head*
binah:...*laughs*

(proceeds to kill/ruin/traumatize a bunch of completely unrelated people who didn't even know his wife at all)

Roland moment, I guess.

Well, we seem to have reached consensus. Closing the votes here.

Instead of 'Shows up, spews cryptic commentary, does not elaborate, leaves', 'inviting baby on a drink', or "Hey kid, wanna see a dead body?", the majority rather gives the choice to Penny and subvert all of her expectations at the same time.
