Blood-soaked Destinies (A Vampire the Masquerade Quest)

I am still relatively new to vampire the masquerade, does anyone think being a gangrel will possibly make it possible to get allied werewolves, despite werewolves and vampires usually being enemies, we already have research as a method to know of the other other things that exist, so I mostly wonder if we can manipulate the animal control and transformation to get other supernatural subordinates as muscle.

Beyond ghouls I mean.

Allies might be a stretch and subordinates certainly not, but there are rumors about some Gangrel that have a frail non aggression pact with the lupine or even some sort of cautious information exchange going on. Just be careful you don't get the wrong werwolves..

I just noticed a thing, why no choice for clan Nosferatu. Why its that?

I thought about that too, but having to use the third dot of obfuscate and roll well on it to look like somebody specific rather than just a non descriptive detective every time you wanna talk to a mortal seems like a pain in the ass for investigating. Sure, there could be ways around that, but why bother if you have a large selection of other perfectly functional clans? Also, as far as I know there already is a Nosferatu quest on SV. It's 5e, but it's there.

LORE HERE

The link leads to an interactive novel style VM game. You can play the first few chapters with an add, and character creation is very lore heavy and introduces various clans both fringe and not rather well, with choice selections defining the sort of work a given member of your selected clan would do based on what they specialize in. Conveniently you are an independent currier in this particular one.

Having played it extensively over the years I've owned it, I'll say that the Shadow manipulation and Super Strength come in very handy for a full social build, as the Carmilla is a cutthroat organization and you can't expect to charm your way out of every situation.

I think the same, but it seems that people are happier Snowballing the intelligence and perception stat. I'll change my vote, but it will be fun to see a PC dying on the first encounter that can't Charm or think of a solution.
Also, the name of the plan doesn't make much sense since we are independent.

You don't need a clan to make decisions about how the city should be run and then convince others that's the way they think it should be run as well. Afterall, if we were part of the ruling elite to begin with, then it wouldn't really be ruling from the shadows.

Not gonna lie, I was afraid that the second plan might win, but that comment alone may have changed my mind, that was amazing, bravo!

We should get ghouls, maybe some dogs?

A ghoul. Blood and vitae is expensive and we are independent.

Birds would be a better investment. A handful of Ravens to fly across the night and let us watch the city from multiple sets of eyes, learning secrets we can trade, provided we can get some Gangrel to let us drink there blood and get Animalism needed for vampire animal familiar magic.

I think we should have multiple types when we can, maybe one bird for investigation and one dog for fighting, we are canon fodder in a physical fight, so a big supernatural dog that we can take with us to places and use as relatively expandable muscles seem more useful to me.

If we ignore our physical abilities, we still need a way to protect ourselves, and a dog comes with an excellent nose while also being relatively cheap to keep around (a bird would be cheaper, a human more expensive).

Maybe cats and dogs are better, less noticable than a raven in an urban area.

I suddenly can't help but wonder what would happen if a horse were to become a ghoul owo

We get a very fast horse, probably worse than a car, but maybe we can bet on it for horse racing, can't imagine nobody would have thought of the racing part already though, so it is probably either already happening or considered a breach of the masquerade.

Really wish people would reconsider malkavian. We are one run in with a wight from being a splattered across a floor.

If I read this correctly, it is currently a 3 way tie. I am gonna need a little bit more time fleshing out the city so that's not that bad, but it's interesting that this vote is so contested.
