...The cabooses are, frankly, a quicker and easier check for me, and I can convert it into materials more easily... Issue is keeping Silas alive for long enough... Acorn should probably retrieve Silly Symphony pieces from the Shears and start animating other stuff to defend Silas?

[X]Lucille Action: Check each Caboose, only sticking her face in before retreating. If she sees the Stand User, crossbow 'em from a good location, otherwise, absorb metal from a Caboose, integrate it as armor, and proceed to the terminal.

[X] Silas Action: Silas and Dead Men will quickly distances themselves from the Stand with Dead Men opening fire at the Stand and one of the Dead Men will throw a grenade at the stump. Silas and Dead Men will then dodge the plants attacks as much as possible while counting to attack the Stand while throwing a grenade or two at the humanoid.
Silas ain't going down without a fight.

Walkway gang: Part 1
Walkway gang, Narrator POV:

Willy Walters was currently sitting on a roof looking down on some drug dealers, that he suspected were form the walkway gang.

Police cooperation roll: 11!

Unfortunately the police were entirely unwilling to work with him, saying they don't know who he is nor would they care enough to find out. This ticked him off a bit, but at the very least he can just call them to pick up anyone he captures.

The drug dealers were now starting to get some customers, so he went ahead and brought out his stand [Death validates life] who started playing his violin slowly, constantly going faster until it would eventually create coffins around those who listened.

The people below immediately felt the fear of death, which caused the drug dealers to run for the wall.

Anyone paralyzed? Dc 70: 28!

No one tripped and as soon as one of their hands touched the wall, Willy witnessed a pathway of darkness open up, allowing them to run through to somewhere else.

Willy realized pretty quickly that his original plan of drawing out the enemy stand user by capturing one of the gangsters would be pretty difficult as he needed minutes for the coffins to appear. About 2 minutes total were needed, perhaps less if he was closer.

So since his enemy's whole power was about escaping and creating escape routes, he was in trouble. He was unsure how he could complete this mission with his skill set.

Decision time!:

You are entirely unsure of how you can complete the mission, even if you were to face the opponent you would have to do it on your terms to succeed.

What does Willy Walters do?:

Known walkway gang stand users:

The presumed leader who can create walkways. Estimated to be a medium ranged stand but unsure.

Jack toll is the hired muscle and has a close ranged stand. He has abilities that are geared towards close combat, like his so called 'extra pair of arms' that allow him to touch, grab, and hit things without the actual stand touching it.

[]Try again?:
You try 3 more times aka you roll 3 more times. If you fail all 3 rolls you will fight a stand user from the walkway gang at an initial disadvantage.

[]Fine their base?:
Finding their base should still give me a reward from the government. Even if I'm not completing the main objective. Reward shall be 2 upgrade points and a new mission will be created related to the drug dealers base.

[]Write in?(I have no suggestions)

If I'm being totally honest, I can't think of a worse matchup. A stand designed to set up traps and force a fight VS a stand that can create escape routes. It's even worse because it takes much longer for the coffin effect to kick in and you don't really have an effect to make them stick around.

Anyways good luck! I decided to just get this out, because why not.

[X]Fine their base?: Finding their base should still give me a reward from the government. Even if I'm not completing the main objective.
-[X] Call the police using an anonymous tip saying about a dead body in the base when they all engage, start playing your music.

It's not like the police will due with this.

Walkway gang: part 2
Walkway gang, Narrator POV:

Willy Walters decided that in order to complete his mission, he should find the gangs base and fight them there. Although this does mean he has to potentially fight two different stand users, he has decided that this is the best course of action.

Finding their base, Dc 55, 3 rolls: 80!

He managed to follow a drug dealer back to their hideout, an old rotten house that looks like a crack den. Classic, it was a good 30 meters from any other building too. Willy than called the police and told them about spotting a dead body, he didn't reveal his name but it seemed to work.

He then brought out [Death validates life] and waited for a bit. Two police cars pulled up and as they approached, Willy saw some movements inside the house. When the police knocked on the door-

???

They actually opened up the door and started talking to the police. As a few moments pass it became clear to Willy that no fight was about to break out, it would be weird for cops just to come shoot up a house because of a random 911 call. Wait, the gangsters are surprisingly calm about this.

'Why are they so calm? They should be scared that the cops will smell the drugs from the front door. They would have to move bases so why are they-'

Perception check! DC 45: 73!

He saw it, on a nearby roof, a good 30 meters away from the house, people were appearing and disappearing holding the drugs, placing them down before going back. By the time the cops could get the warrant for checking the house, it would all be gone. Both the drugs and the gear to make them!

Willy decided to stick to his original plan, engage them, so he went towards the building they were transporting drugs too and got on the far side from it, than he started climbing up the fire escape later. He ordered [Death validates life] to start playing as well.

Opposition reaction: 16!

It must have been how close they were, compared to before when there was a few floors in between Willy and the gangsters, but when Willy reached the top floor, right underneath the roof, most of the gangsters were paralyzed with fear. Just a little bit longer and the coffin effect would trigger.

Menacing Than Willy saw someone walk through a door and turn towards him outside the window. It was Jack Toll, looking pale but determined. Than he brought out his stand.

A humanoid stand with a monkey tail, it was crouching on the floor. It had a surgeon mask covering its lower face and was light blue in color with random spots of lime. It was essentially a really big monkey with claws.

"I'll kill you nice and good bastard! [Black Lead]!" At it's command the stand charged towards the window, giving Willy only a few moments to react.

Decision time:

How do you fight [Black Lead]? Your on the fire escape right outside the window. You have roughly 1 minute 30 seconds for your coffin effect to activate on him.

[]Write in?(Keep him at a distance, run, slide down the ladder, etc.)

If you have questions about anything, go ahead and ask! Good luck!

[X]Write in?
-[X] Down the ladder and make sure that Jack can still hear your stand. If possible head straight into an open area or the place where normal gangsters and police are if not possible.

Abandoned trainyard, narrator POV:

Currently the trio of stand users, Acorn, Lucille, and Silas were standing outside the trainyard looking at it from a distance. Acorn had already animated the weedwhacker and sheers, giving them a cartoon look, while also making him appear like a normal squirrel. Granted he was still yellow.

Do the cartoon gardening tools listen?: 87! They will listen for the rest of the mission.

At first the gardening tools didn't want to listen, until acorn explained that 'That garden over there is too big and needs to be cleaned up!' which caused the tools to hoot and holler before charging the trainyard.

Silas called up his stand [Dead Men] and had them slowly march behind the strangely hillbilly gardening tools, guns pointed out at the abandoned train cars, just incase the stand user showed up early. Meanwhile Lucille was keeping closer to the ground, ready to dig down incase they attacked.

It was at this moment they spotted two places around the yard the enemy could be hiding in.

1st: The old train terminal near the center of the yard. It's a small 1 story building that train conductors would conduct business and possibly sleep in. It's about 40 meters away from the trios current position. The entire building is covered in vines and flowers.

2nd: A set of train cabooses meant for passengers, about 3 of them total, it's about 25 meters away and it appears that the door to the caboose is closed. It's covered in moss.

??? Rolls?

Not more than 30 seconds went by before the plants started growing, which caused the tools to holler even louder charging the plants.

Tools roll: 57!

The tools manage to destroy half the plants that were growing before vines shot out and grabbed the trio of sheers. The weedwhacker was still going however, cutting up the vines that got too close. Silas ordered [Dead Men] to start firing at the plants while Lucille went underground, dodging an unseen vine.

Info/deduction roll: 54!

Acorn was somehow not being targeted, perhaps they thought he was a normal squirrel? Either way he wasn't needing to dodge at all, free to command the tools as needed.

Menacing At Acorns revelation that he wasn't being targeted, a plant 5 meters infront of Silas, right next to his [Dead Men] grew into a humanoid figure, it was when Acorn saw this that one thought entered his mind.

"That's the enemy stand!" It was humanoid but it's lower half was a tree stump that was rooted into the ground, it's arms were vines intertwined like ropes with a hand at the end of them. It head had a single hole in its forehead with a sunflower growing out the top of its head.

React time: 27! Enemy gets to attack before making a decision!

Before he could react the stand shot four blows into [Dead Men] #3, even as it tried to protect itself with its rifles body it was decimated. Silas then spat out blood as soon as part of his stand was destroyed by the flurry of blows. He managed to stay standing up but was now severely hurt.

Decision time!:

Enemy stand user is not in sight!

What does Acorn do?(For some reason you are not being targeted.):

[]Write in?(I got no suggestions)

What does Lucille do(She is underground and can move pretty quickly.):

[]Write in?(Look for the stand user at one of the places listed?)

What does Silas do?(Silas believes he will die if another part of his stand gets destroyed.):

[]Write in?(Throw grenades at the stand, keep it pinned down through gunfire, run away, etc.)

Ok so, you dividing your 15 Hp stand among 4 bodies actually saved you from a quick death! If it was just one stand you'd be dead. So lucky you!

Only the characters user can vote for that character! Anyway good luck! It's already going bad despite the good rolls.

[X] Carefully sneak around the area, try to find the Enemy Stand User, have 2 Silly symphonys from the shears attach itself to the ground in front of Silas so when it pops out it might be good cover, if I'm figured out as a threat to the Enemy place a Silly from the shears on the ground beneath the Enemy Stand while adding the Silly from the weedwhacker to myself to not instantly have my tiny squirrel body annihilated

I'll go ahead and start writing, I want to have these missions be fast paced when they can be. Also it's very helpful when you guys put your characters name next to your vote, for example:

Silas action or Lucille action, like below.

The garden of trains: Part 2
Trainyard, Narrator POV:

Silas and Acorn moved as fast as they could, Silas ordered [Dead Men] to retreat while firing on the enemy stand, telling [Dead Men] #1 to throw a grenade at it. Acorn meanwhile ordered two parts of [Silly Symphony] to get off of the sheers and go in front of Silas on the ground.

This would turn out to save Silas. The enemy stands arm extended like a whip towards Silas in an effort to finish this, but [Silly Symphony] landed on the ground, making it bounce upwards and taking the hit for Silas. Then the grenade hit the apparent 'Stand'.

Boom! It was destroyed completely, blown to smithereens. This made Acorn and Silas pause for a moment, did they kill the stand user? If the stand was destroyed then it had to be true, right?

Meanwhile with Lucille…

Lucille was in the process of checking the train cars, she was about to check the final car, when she happened to glance towards the window at that point in time. She saw the enemy stand user Talia coven, running directly away from the train cars, towards the train terminal. Lucille had guessed the location correctly!

Lucille immediately jumped out from her position and lined up her crossbow on the window.

Enemy reaction roll, summon stand? Dc 70: 88!
Attack roll: None, enemy stand blocks and bypasses Dc check.

It was as if Talia heard the crossbow being set on the window, perhaps because of Lucille's rush, she had made noise alerting her enemy.

Her enemy, Talia called out as the crossbow fired "[Pollen frux]!" Her stand sprouted from the ground, looking different from the one before. It was still humanoid, but was much more feminine, it's lower half was no longer a stump, instead it was legs with thick vines that, like the arms, were intertwined like rope. It's eyes were roses with other varieties of flowers atop its head. Notably, two apparent flowers were singed, leaving 4 total flowers left on its head.

It came out and destroyed the bolt that went towards her. Talia kept running and her stand followed. Lucille seeing this immediately started reloading her crossbow while going underground, gathering the metal from the train as she went. She was intending to alert the others, however Acorn had gone around to see if he could find the stand users body!

He saw Talia and immediately got Silas to fire upon her with his [Dead Men] forcing Talia to block. Acorn called back his [Silly Symphony] all of them, as he saw Talia looking at him directly, so he put two [Silly Symphony] upon himself and the other on Silas, hoping to protect both of them.

He needn't worry as they were out of range from [Pollen frux] ability range. As Silas focused his fire upon [Pollen frux] Talia was becoming focused on him, trying to defend herself.

Surprise attack, Dc 55: 65!

She seemed to forget about her other opponent, Lucille burrowed herself near the train terminal, in a position directly opposite of Silas position, putting Talia in the center of a pincer attack.

The crossbow fired-

???

Hitting Talia in the collar bone as she turned around, right below her neck. Talia was sent to the ground as [Pollen frux] attempted to keep deflecting the bullets coming from [Dead Men] all the while Lucille was reloading another bolt, using the metal from the train car this time.

Than [Pollen frux] shot two seeds from its back, landing in the direction of Lucille. They quickly started growing into the very first opponent, the tree stumps, who were now standing and guarding Talia. This at the same time seemed to reduce [Pollen frux] size and mass, losing some vines around its legs and arms.

What's more, there were now plants sprouting out around Talia and [Pollen frux] the same plants that would shoot vines out to attack others. This fight wasn't over yet!

Decision time!:

What does Acorn do?:

[]Write in?

What does Lucille do:

[]Write in?

What does Silas do?(Silas believes he will die if another part of his stand gets destroyed.):

[]Write in?(Throw grenades at the stand, keep it pinned down through gunfire, spread out and shoot it, etc.)

That grenade from Silas stand, did way more than I was expecting. I can't say much more without spoiling stuff, but that was surprising.

Good luck!

[X][Acorn] He has a Silly Symphony land on the ground beneath Talia and then he tries to go for cover, while removing a single Silly from himself and adding it to Lucille so the hits from the trees would hopefully hurt less

... Would recommend chucking more grenades. If nothing else it'll keep the Stand occupied while Lulu's crossbow does its job. Would also help cover your retreat for safety... Alternatively you could stick around and let me take aggro, chucking a grenade towards the Stand User while the Stand tries to eviscerate Lulu... Either way.

[X] Lucille Action: Continue gathering material and integrate it as armor while continuing to fire the crossbow.

It should, but you might want to specify what your spores specifically do, otherwise that B potential might become wasted/irrelevant.

In this case they currently do a reactive burst of damage equal to any impact received. I was leaving any damage change or other major effects up to the QM.
If I could add anything as a power up I would probably add an infection mechanism, but it would have to rise from a desire for more strength when faced with the possibility of a loss from companions with him not being strong enough being key. However he could also grow by learning how to manipulate mushrooms after they are there (Based on precision).
For me one reason why it's like that is because all of the abilities are based on songs. With Fruiting Bodies (By RIP) being about the fear of something corrupt taking over and then it getting out, The infection mechanic would probably be manifested with the name Medical Anomaly.

Walkway gang: Part 3 finish
[X] Down the ladder and make sure that Jack can still hear your stand. If possible head straight into an open area or the place where normal gangsters and police are if not possible.

Walkway gang, Narrator POV:

Willy immediately slid down the ladder, plan forming in his mind as he dodged [Black Lead]. As he was halfway down the ladder he looked up to find the window being shattered as the enemy user came rushing down the ladder himself.

Perhaps Jack Toll realized something was off with the music being played as he let go of the ladder completely, dropping down as Willy got to the bottom, colliding with him.

React roll: 99+55= 154!

Instead of falling to the ground with him, Willy used to collision to propel himself forward, going into a sprint midway through, just out of reach of [Black Lead]. Now it was a desperate scramble to find an open place, like the road at the front of the building. So Willy ran to the end of the alley only to look behind him to see Jack running the opposite way.

Willy guessed he needed about 30 more seconds for his effect to take place, so he dashed back into the alleyway. Attempting to follow him as [Death validates life] was picking up the pace one final time. The distance between them had allowed Jack tolls time to be reduced massively.

Yet as Willy ran past the alleyways entrance, Jack was to his direct right. "[Black Lead]! Kill him quick!" [Black Lead] jumped at [Death validates life] missing his blow, however the stands ability allowed it to hit anyway.

Is the music interrupted?: 79!

Yet [Death validates life] kept playing despite the onrush of attacks. Willy was beaten near senseless, on the edge of death, yet finally Jacks time was up. The coffin appeared, a black box wide open, tendrils came out of it dragging Jack and [Black Lead] into it.

"I declare thee dead!" Willy yelled out the words needed to initiate a mortal wound, inside Jack screamed for but a moment, before the coffin disappeared with Jack falling out with a big hole in his stomach. Willy thought it was over, until.

Groans Jack groaned and tried to crawl towards the wall next to him. Before Willy could say or do anything, a walkway appeared. Out came a stand appearing as a 6 foot tall humanoid wearing a black cape and a pure black fedora. The stand itself is dark grey in color, bright red eyes, wielding two knives.

It grabbed Jack Toll before going back into the walkway, Willy who couldn't even stand, could only watch as this happened. His original target, the point of this mission, had saved his opponent.

In the end, despite the rewards received for the apparent 'Killing' of Jack Toll, something told Willy that he'd survive. Despite his 'success' he had failed.

Due to completing a separate mission, the local muscle "Monkey see", and gaining information on a gangs base, you will receive that missions upgrade points and an additional 1 due to the information gained.

Gain 5 upgrade points.

How you going to score the minimum amount of damage with a coffin. Soo unlucky. Granted he might die still which I'm gonna go roll for.

Anyway @Digmata you now have 5 upgrade points. Couldn't give you the original mission amount as your original target is still very much alive, but instead you get Jack tolls bounty along with a small bonus for finding the enemy base.

Trainyard garden, Narrator POV:

Acorn decided to remove 2 [Silly Symphony] one from himself and Silas, sending one towards Lucille and one under Talia. Meanwhile Silas ordered [Dead Men] to continue firing upon the stands, while also getting closer to chuck grenades at [Pollen frux].

Meanwhile the plants [Pollen frux] had created decided to go after Lucille, who promptly went underground appearing nearby with crossbow loaded. Taking another shot that was blocked by the two smaller cloned stands before going underground again.

The [Dead Men] had finally gotten close enough to throw grenades at [Pollen frux] who commanded the plants and vines growing around her to block the grenades, destroying the plants but keeping the stand and stand user safe. Speaking of which, Talia seemed to have stood up and tried to walk towards the train terminal.

Silly Symphony goes undetected?: 69!

At this moment [Silly Symphony] landed right under the feet of Talia, causing he ground to bound upwards, sending her flying into the air. Than Silas seeing this ordered [Dead Men] to light her up, which worked. She was loaded with bullets all over her body, blood spraying in the air as [Pollen frux] turned to ash, the flowers wilting atop its head.

As the trio, looked upon the body of Talia, Silas broke the silence "[Dead Men] hurry and pick my ass up. Everything hurts." Acorn simply jumped on one of the [Dead Men], catching a ride. While Lucille just looked at this while ejecting the excess material from her body, sighs, than just started walking with them.

Mission complete!

All 3 gain 8 upgrade points and 1 golden flower for each that heals for 20 Hp once.

Just so everyone knows, you can use the upgrade points whenever your not on a mission.

Also if [Silly Symphony] was detected, I'm like 60% sure this battle would turn into a siege, making y'all retreat or one of you die to complete it. Anyway good job! I'll make a short post soon so y'all can have some free time to train or do whatever you want.

Turn 1: Free time!
We are going to keep this simple! You all have 1 action, you can use this action to do anything. Train, train your stand, train to create a trait to affect the rolls, go make a whole restaurant and be the boss of it. Literally use this action on anything.

I'll try my best to make it useful, but if your action is literally "Eat a bread sandwich, 3 slices of bread, 1 in the middle that's buttered to shit." I can't really make a reward for that.

Ok now to explain future 'mission' free time events. Best to explain with an example:

Artifacts exchange: Offer an artifact and a number of upgrade points. You will receive an ability related to your current stands ability, of near equal value. Lasts 1 turn.

This is not available for this turn. I'm just telling you about these future events so you can decide for yourself if you want to spend your upgrade points now or wait for a hopefully good event.

Anyway with that explanation done, go ahead and vote!

Put your name than the thing you want to do.

...dunno what I want to use my action on, tbh. There's a few possibilities, but they're of somewhat questionable use.
