Oh boy here we go.

... I'm actually not sure about taking the Cloak from these guys. I mean, they're old and presumably uncommon at best for it, so will we be able to reliably hunt one down later?

[X] Neptune

I'm actually good with any of them I think.

Also, her speech tic "Nep" turns out to be a profanity filter.

Edit: [X] Ranged Attack

I agree. It would be nice right now but replacing it down the road sounds tricky.

Inclined to take Ranges Attack to boost our offense a little more. Our defense seems reasonable right now and if we do go with Neptune or Tomoe, we should be the fire support to their melee.

Yeah let's go with that.

[X] Ranged Attack
[X] Neptune

Also it's only a matter of time before we find a mettaur. Those things are the common cold of the Net. They'll definitely offer some kind of defensive program.

I'm amazed we haven't seen one yet.

Also if you're trying to attract more people via crossovers, it'd probably be more accurate to advertise the universes our friends and their Navis come from, like Metroid or Hyperdimensional Neptune. Especially if you plan on merging their plotlines and enemies together with the Megaman verse's.

3.4 First Week of September.

"I call dibs!" Neptune suddenly yelled with a big grin on her face.

Samus just sighed, "I should have seen this coming, a shame really, hmmm maybe next time."

Tomoe just nodded.

"Oh well it seems like is you and me Connie, ready to kick some digital ass?" She asked from her handheld.

"Of course! We will prove our skills… to the camera" Connie began very excite but become more shy when recalled that the fights would by public, she really wasn't good with crowd.

"Hey in the fight it will be only you and Chie, ok just focus on the battle and nothing more," I tried to reassure her.

She smiles a little, "Thanks, I will."

"So you and me alone again huh?" Hana asked in a teasing tone, "Just try to not make a habit of it or here may be some rumors~" She finished with a wink.

I just smiled while looking at an uncomfortable Forte with Neptune holding his arm.
----------
"Ok everybody! Do you have your partner already choice?" The judge and announcer said, with everybody doing some affirmatives sounds, "Perfect! Now an orb-cam will come to you and show you your objective, you have 2 hours to delete the virus, good luck!"

After she finished orbs of light began to appear in the stage, and quickly move to the audience.

"D'awwww it's so cute and purple! Nepu!" Neptune said while watching of the orbs floating to her and Forte.

When it was in front of the duo it began to project a map on top of its head, a map with a glowing red dot in the docks public matrix.

"Well, we have our objective, let's do this!" Hana grinned all excite, I knew that grin, is the one she use each time she really wanted to win a game, not only to defeat the opponents but to destroy them… Oh man.
----------
The docks matrix was quiet, too quiet.

"Hey Hana, even with a dangerous virus around should this place have some navis doing some works?" I asked her a little worried.

"Yeah, I mean isn't only the lack of navis, some here are always some viruses in this matrix, but the place looks desert," She answered, a little concern in her voice.

Suddenly, a big growl echoed all over the place.

"I think it came from there, follow me!" Neptune said before I or Forte could answered and began to run.

Forte began to follow her shortly after.

When the found to origin of the growl I was speechless, it was a virus, a virus like a have never seen before.

And it was attacking and devouring other viruses around him, dozens of mettaurs were attacking the big monster, but it was useless, it just pick them up a swallow them in one go.

Then it take a look at Neptune and Forte, for few second it just stared, then its coffins opened and from them a black slime came out, the slime began to fuse and transform in another weird virus.

"Ew ew ew," was Neptune answered to such sight.

Honestly I agree with her.

"Hey, were the other one go!?" Hana asked.

"Huh!?" It seems like the first virus use the distraction of the second one to scape.

"We have to go after it!" Hana exclaimed.

"I don't think this one is just going to let us leave D.va!" Neptune yelled while watching the knight like virus began to rush at them.

It seems like we need to fight.

[] Fired at him without stop and dodge at the last moment.
[] Tell Neptune to tank it while Forte shoots from afar.
[] Tell Hana that we should alter between how distract it and how damage it, beginning with Forte as the distraction.

AN: Ok first fight of the arc, and because you have a little of tactic knowledge now, you have some options to the fight, doesn't mean they are perfect of that you can't create a better plan, but something is something.

Or scare away. Huge crossovers like this have a... reputation.
AN 2: Believe me I know, but I will do my best to try to make them work, for example, this is the MMBN world (if an AU one) but that mean that here aren't supernatural events or things like shadows, everything is connected with the virtual world.

It may also help to go back to previous chapters and edit them at some point. The spelling and grammar can get kinda rough at times, and people do make judgements on that. Not to be overly critical, but if you are trying to grab new readers it may help.
AN 3: Yeah sorry about that, english isn't my main lenguage, so I tend to make mistakes

Incidentally, once our Ranged Attack gets a +, with Exploding Bullets our default shot is a D ranked attack on impact. A charged shot is going to be D+++, almost a C ranked attack. Starting from E+.

Not bad at all, for someone our level. Those programs to add large numbers can inflate our power a lot, if we time it right.

Also, question: we have two busters on each arm. Can we charge one buster while the other keeps firing?

We may wanna steal a trick outta Ichimaru Gin's playbook. It's a neat one though. Use our cloak to cover our charging buster so that people don't see it, and if necessary shoot through the cloak to maximize the element of surprise. D+++ attack outta nowhere will be good.

And hey, Mettaurs! We should try and delete one for a quick power up at some point.

[X] Alternating offense, whoever it's facing at the moment focuses on defense while the other one shoots or stabs it. Switch over when it switches targets.
-[X] Forte takes a potshot at a Mettaur if he gets a chance.

Excellent. That's an advantage most Navis don't have, I think. So if Forte leads with only one Buster he'll fool others into think that's all he's got, when he's prepping a charged shot.

Plus it's a good way to scout out their defense, and see how much damage they take. Find out if we can meaningfully hurt them with normal shots or if we need charged shots to break through.

Alas, this fight is being recorded and this trick will probably be well known knowledge soon. Or well.

And this works I suppose.

[X] Alternating offense, whoever it's facing at the moment focuses on defense while the other one shoots or stabs it. Switch over when it switches targets.
-[X] Forte takes a potshot at a Mettaur if he gets a chance.
-[X] If possible, try to disguise it as a natural thing to do, to try and hide the Crescendo program's existence. Maybe justify it as clearing a field for Neptune, so she can focus on the bigger threat, or denying more resources to the viruses. We're better suited to the widespread pest control, is all.

If we do manage to take out a mettaur, we may end up wanting that Shield program. Although I'm not sure whether we have enough room for all the programs we're running. We're supposed to be able to switch out programs without loss in time, although I expect stuff like Dash needs to cooldown before it can be swapped.

EDIT: I mean this kinda gives away the Crescendo program, cause taking time to target a Mettaur is strange, so let's see if we can subtly hide it.

So far we've only been using 1.1 Ram with our two support programs. I think we're more likely to run our of storage first actually.
