Why Verthandi in the Middle isn't a webcomic

Edie's Living Castle interior (Monster Marriage Quest)

Illustration for the next update (as of writing) of Monster Marriage Quest. I might colour it later but I'm also liking it in black and white

Black Rose Koyomi redesign (Fool Bloom)

I had concerns that my previous pics of Black Rose Koyomi didn't look Magical Girl-y enough, so I redesigned her while still keeping the basics like the coat, quill-sword, and general colour scheme. You can see some Magic Knight Rayearth influence with the armour, I made the crystals hexagons instead of spheres to not make them too close to Rayearth

Nice drawing. For some reason I got a notification for this which read "No notebook mark."
Edit: I have a guess at what has happened. The bookmark for the drawing contains "No bookmark note." which is similar to what I remember. So I think the bookmark somehow displayed as a notification, though there isn't definitive proof for this. I really wish I took a screenshot of the notification.

Theta Sigma (DW: ADwT)

Continuing the Classic Who fanart with my take on the young First Doctor, aka Theta Sigma (his college ID number). His hair and face mostly take after what William Hartnell looked like when young. He's shown standing forlorn outside the doors of House Lungbarrow, his family house but not a home

Rassilon (Doctor Who: A Deal with Time)

My take on Rassilon. That owl's a reference to the DWEU.
While I usually ink the lines in pen, this time I left the drawing as just pencil to achieve less solid, more ethereal look. Those jewels on her crown are the only things drawn in pen here.

Copying the Seal of Rassilon may have been the hardest thing I've ever drawn, and that's even with part of it behind blocking. I was also gonna draw some of the stone, 'immortal' faces from the tomb around her, but I ran out of the room. The price you pay with traditional art I guess.

Galadriel from LotR and the older Princess Emeraude from Magic Knight Rayearth were both inspirations for her look

Somnia Virtua Webcomic Page 1 in ink

Trying a webcomic version of the crossover I spearheaded Somnia Virtua, given I've never done a comic before beyond some gag one-offs.

Script:
Hayato: *ahem* "Miss Yukimura"
Kikuko: "Uh... hello"
Hayato: The kind of person who'd rather be... invisible.

Somnia Virtua Webcomic Page 2 in ink

Hayate: "Are you... perhaps lost, Miss Yukimura?" With all those glamorous dresses? Right before the tournament too? (edited)

Kikuko: "...Uh huh"

Hayate: Miss Yukimura's day job is making dresses for the court ladies. Honestly, it' hard to imagine such a reserved girl taking up such a flashy job. (edited)

Hayate: "The court ladies should be up in that tower. You can find out which room from the noise. I think they're starting to sound... irritable." In fairness, when aren't tournaments stressful?

Kikuko: "Thank you, Hayato."

Hayate: "Hayate." Shin Hayate. And those are all the names a guard gets.

Kikuko: "Sorry. Hayate, I'll... remember next time."

Hayate: Whatever. "Hey, you've got a job to do."

Kikuko: "...Thank you."

Quyen Antoinette (The Nowhere Train)

A character idea I've had for a while is a French-Vietnamese goth girl paranormal investigator, like a cross between Emily the Strange and Tintin. Was gonna be coloured, but I felt just black and white worked well. Had this picture as a reference. Character design probably not final

Selphimecia (Final Fantasy VIII)
Inspired by a joke theory from Omicron's FF LP thread that Ultimecia is really future Selphie:

Tried to make her wings vaguely resemble silhouettes of trains, and made her necklace and tattoo look like train tracks

Prince Death

Inspired by the Snow White theory that interprets the Prince as Death, though I went with my own take on a fairytale prince instead of Disney's. You could equate the Prince Charming archetype to Death more broadly, with the heroine normally getting with him at the End of the story, and 'Happily Ever After' being comparable to Heaven.
The dove is often seen as a symbol of the soul, and his red suit and coat were inspired by Poe's Red Death
