Basically shut him down through iron will and proceed to temporarily paralyze him via your knowledge of Astartes and Primarch biology using precise strikes to various parts of his body.

That sounds a bit much. I could understand if we basically took him apart (literally) so he'd shut up and listen as he regenerated, but...kung fu pressure point stuff doesn't sound like it'd apply to Astartes, let alone Primarchs.

The only thing that could be done to mitigate the Flesh Change is to not use psychic powers or hook up those vulnerable to Aetheric Blockers.
Legion Master Psyker Hatred must become a thing to save the Legion.
Pretty soon. Prospero is very close to Terra.

It's been awhile, but I believe in Thousand Sons Magnus basically silently told Ahriman, no psychic abilities involved, to be quiet when he started to bring up his deal with Tzeentch, and how it might have not been totally swell. Between being a Primarch and Astartes being built to obey their Primarchs, it worked. There's a reason there were so few traitors to the Traitor Legions, and that many of them were unique cases or couldn't be handled quietly.

The Champion Eternal could well retroactively (or eventually) become a symbol for how to handle mass psychic abilities: one must have ironclad control of the mind and will before you get psychic abilities-not pick it up while you're learning psychic abilities.

He could fix it. But you need to justify as to why he needs to spend the time back on Terra instead of kicking ass, leading the Great Crusade's innumerable amount of frontlines and rediscovering the Primarchs.

Tyrian doesn't have the information to realize that Tzeentch has done something to the geneseed, or that Tzeentch is even a thing. Plus, while he definitely knows more about the process than most people he isn't an expert on gene seed genetics.
A way to explain is that he knows all the research notes and logs by memory but he only really understands like a 15th of it.
Because it's Tzeentch fucking around, not fixing up a rushed project.

Though, would it be enough to make fixing the Legion a priority rather than saving a multi billion population system with high tech from an enrouching Xenos invasion, or stomping an Attack Moon Wagghhh from building up momentum.

Hatred is Irrational and therefore against the crusades spirit of Illumination Unity and understanding Suspicion is much better
That sounds like a reasonable person which are in VASTLY greater numbers in 30k and we are likely a very rational and reasonable person and this sounds like something the Emperor and Malcador would likely have helped us influence
