So what things could a boon get can you give examples?
Sure, you could tweak little quirks in the different gene seed strains, or you could shift the relations between the Imperium and certain factions of the Eldar, or give the Necron more of a conscience. But keep in mind, even with the boon there are limits to your change.

Could a boon just for straight loot? Like say a STC library or just a rare STC?

Nothing has happened so far to change things so that doesn't happen.
It's a amazing story, of Talos trying to be a good man when he is surrounded by monsters (Night Lords) and chaos worshippers fighting the Imperium.

Edit I recommend the series to anyone who like 40k because it has amazing action and a heartfelt story that is sad.

Edit don't read spoilers for Talos
It has its tragic moments when his best friend who is also a night lord congratulations him for not crying or showing any emotions. And when Talos ask him why he tells him when the PDF gunned down his mother when they were part of a parade in the home world.

Tali's was also one of two Marines close to Konrad. Well people he was actually talk too And actually somewhat care about. Talos hunted down and killed the assassin who Killed Konrad. It's why he is called the Soul Hunter.

But the biggest thing I liked is when the Choas gods through a ritual try to corrupt him and he resists all of them. Than he gets up and murders/fights his way out and a chaos sorcery asks him how he was able to resist the gods he says " That I am my Father's son"

So any ideas on earning Magnus's trust and respect? The only thing I can really think of is making sure we are at his side during the Ragdan Xenocides. Bond in battle if you will.

Any other ideas @thread?

  • Corvus Corax: Amusement and "Are you sure he is my son ?" We are straightforward and do not use stealth. A new term is created "Tyrian Stealth: The enemy can't see you if you killed all of them !"
...fuuuuu, now I wish we WERE in his legion.

Compliance Stage 1: Planning 2
"Following the end of my endeavors I simply scooped up all of the planetary systems that were affected enough by my economical tweaking to be heading towards the predicted line where all of them would begin starving and promised to feed them and fix their money troubles." With this, Aventus takes a breath before continuing. "Most folded faster than a civilian in the face of a charging Ork, and those who remained stubborn I simply completely collapsed their economies and picked up the pieces enough for their own remaining governmental bodies both political and criminal to fix it themselves." With the end of his report he simply asked to be released to return to his usual duties. With a nod from you he walked off back towards his portion of the command center.

The next to report would be from Ohrmuzd about his diplomatic endeavors. Even as he steps to make his report you can tell he's still nervous to be up here doing something so important, hopefully it will pass with time. You shake yourself from your musings as he begins his report. "My entreaties with the Mechanicum were incredibly brisk and uncomplicated, they seemed almost overjoyed with our gift and were willing to gift us with both a token force of Cybernetica Legion and Priority Service when it comes to repairs and maintenance. In my own opinion it was quite the windfall." He grins a bit at this before becoming serious again. "As for recruitment, sadly I was only able to find enough worthy aspirants to maintain our current recruitment level. Though I was able to calm the planets they came from, we will still not be able to call on them for this kind of service for some time."

The conversation continues with part of your attention focused on it and asking questions, as the rest of your mind focuses on the campaign ahead. Thankfully everyone around is already used to your behavior, which could be considered quite rude elsewhere.

I'm not sure if it's has been pointed out before, but I'm pretty sure in the Crusade there were a lot more Astartes around. Like, each legion was supposed to field 100,000. Is there some reason we have an tenth of that?

ok got caught up, hmmm we should look after our holdings at some point, as well as train our other hero's abilities so they don't fall behind...as well as see if we can insure our turf is ready for management.

after all, the crusade NEEDS allot of infrastructure in order to keep going, blowing it up only slows the crusade down by allot.

1. Thousand sons weren't the most numerous even before the flesh change set in as their geneseed was notoriously picky.
2. The numbers for 100,000+ are from when the Horus Heresy gets going, at the moment I imagine most legions are considerably smaller.

Even then the Sons only had 85,000 going by max numbers.

You hit the nail right on the head. The Crusade has basically JUST started in earnest. You're not even out of what will become Solar Segmentum yet.

So, would it be possible to make our SA legions even more powerful? Just so that we are able to take less casualties all around. That, and is it possible to creat an uplifting policy when it comes to the worlds we conquer for the crusade.

[ ] Plan Early Prepping
-[ ] Search for New Civilizations to Bring into Compliance (1 Actions Invested)
--[ ]Martially
---[ ] Tyrian

-[ ] Search for New Civilizations to Bring into Compliance 2 Actions Invested)
--[ ] Logistically
---[ ] Aventus

-[ ]Send a Hero/Leader into seclusion to improve a Skill
--[ ] Martial
---[ ]Ahzek Ahriman, Ahzek Ohrmuzd, Solomon Tumadi, Tychus, Caspian Shalashaska

here is a potential plan, let Tyrian and Aventus continue the Crusade while working on getting all our Legion Heroes' stats to 4's so they can assisst wherever is a need.

Sending someone into seclusion counts as an action.
