Get him involved in enough actions where he has to take the lead and generally just commanding his others brothers effectively and he'll become a leader. It's a simple task, but not an easy one.
Gotcha.

I'm thinking we have another turn to get recruits up before Flesh Change hits, then we have him fire control with the other Legions then send him off on compliances.

The only thing I dislike is not looking into Logis Compliances, it has been noted Aventus wants to do that because while very efficient they leave behind a worryingly large criminal element. Otherwise? Solid.
I am not having him do any Logis compliances, and do not plan to change that in the near future. This is an action that can always be taken later, is a long term investment, and might not even be useful (we might not take Logis compliances anymore, with Aventus at least.).

Why drop Logis compliance? It's very efficient and brings in worlds intact to the Imperium.

Logis is needed for a whole bunch of valuable stuff like Uplifts, getting more ships or soldiers, etc. I do not have hard numbers to prove it but such things seem like a much better use of the skill.

Martial Compliances are obvious, and diplomatic ones ideal of course, but Logis does not seem to fit that action well.

Am not entirely convinced of this, and could well decide to do more of them later, but we can do that research then with no problem.

So, just to check people's views. How's everyone feel about what's happened so far? And how do you feel about the different characters and their actions?

If you look back to the first compliance results Logis is noted as being extremely efficient with some current doctrinal failings.
I remember it being surprisingly efficient, not extremely, not to mention that last updates mention of the risk of corruption.

Logis Compliances are viable I believe, but stuff like uplifting and expanding our forces can only be done through Logis, are very valuable, and I doubt that we will run out of such work to do.

Taking over economically is not cheap or non-destructive. Or quick.

Edit: The ideal way to do Compliances is, I believe, a mix of all three. Either in one character, or across three. There should be serious synergies.

How it goes is that whoever you assign to Logis compliances will begin poking and prodding the economic cracks in a government to the point of collapse. Along the way enlisting whoever is amoral enough to take advantage of the economic boom followed by the chaos of the crash they've been informed of ahead of time. Followed by allowing them to keep their positions but giving up their overall authority to the Logistics Compliance Leader. As such, corruption is a serious issue.

Tyrian's interactions with Ahirman were nice and I hope it does something for humanizing Tyrian. My boy Ohrmuzd continues to be endearingly nice and a true paragon of humanity. Aventus is interesting, never heard of an Astartes having a recaff habit.

Aventus tried it when he was still an Aspirant after seeing Imperial Army members enjoying it in a childish effort to make himself seem like more of a soldier. He hated it at first, but as he grew older he developed a taste and hasn't stopped since.

I'm all for humanizing the Legion if for nothing else than PR. I'm sticking to one of the goals that was floated in Legion choice. Make Psykers less feared and hated.

We voted to be part of the face of Psykers, let's show them all were still human.

I like and am looking forward to more of Tyrians... Tyrian-ess. He is a very interesting concept.

I would like to see Aventus doing logistics wil lowercase L. Something like making sure that Tyrians forces while he pummels worlds into compliance are well very well supplied, for a better result. The economical games are... weird. Do not fit 40K or Space Marines. A nice idea that I am glad to have seen, but do not want to be a mainstay. Advising Tyrian on what not to destroy, pointing out critical enemy supply lines to target, etc.

More interaction between our main three Heroes. They should cooperate very closely, forming a whole that is more than sum of its parts and covers each stat.

2 actions per leader and 1 per hero is uncomfortably restricting. Maybe give each 2 actions and a roll bonus to the leaders instead? Or some actions only available to them? 3 actions for leaders was probably too much with 7 actions per turn, that was a good change.

Fluff skill training as characters teaching each other maybe? Or offer an action to do so (for double the normal training actions worth of progress or so + bonus if the teacher is very good).

Many things are unclear. There is not option offered for example for increasing our ship/soldier numbers, or if such is even possible/viable. And what skill would be needed, I can think of Logis and Diplo both working for this.

Slice of life snippets of Tyrian (and others?) interacting with his legion would probably be a good idea.

Tone down the torture please.

I will make sure to keep your very constructive criticism in mind in the future. Thank you.

Idea: Tie the number of actions per turn to our heroes. Leaders would act twice per turn, heroes once, and extras like the Cybernetica could be used by any hero but each can only do one extra action? Could also restrict the Cybernetica to Martial action only. Or turn it into a martial bonus.

This way we will always use every hero we have at least once per turn.

I'll definitely keep that idea in mind for future updates.

So since it's coming up really soon I want to get this out of the way now. Is anyone opposed to using one of our three Emperor favors to get him to fix the Flesh Change?

I remind you we will be reduced to over a thousand in number and all those recruiting actions wasted.

Reminder: Doing so would slow down Great Crusades progress significantly. The question that we should ask here is if doing so is a net good for humanity/galaxy. If so, I am all for it (or better yet trying to explain to Emps why we believe it to be a net good, unless we base it on OC knowledge).

If not, I say suffer the Flesh Change and try to find another way. Somehow. Maybe screen aspirants for self knowledge/willpower.

Keep the bigger picture in mind. We serve humanity, not our legion or Primarch.
