Compliance Stage 1: Results 1
"I assure you sir, these young men aren't going to be sacrificed as cannon fodder when we recruit them." Ohrmuzd explained as he attempted to calm the governor of the planet Scoria. A rather developed world, having been peacefully inducted into the Imperium through the Fifteenth Legion's efforts. But right now, the current ruler of the planet was rightfully worried that the young men the Legion were recruiting would end up as simple meat shields for the Astartes. "You have my word." He swore to the governor.

"I still have misgivings about this, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt." The ruler stated fretfully.

"Thank you sir, I will ensure I keep your trust." The young Astartes promised. And with that Ohrmuzd followed the line of young men currently marching into the Stormbird, waiting to be taken to the Legion fleet. While it wasn't enough to fully replenish your count of aspirants, it was still enough to stabilize your rapidly dwindling amount.

"Phew, that was much harder than dealing with the Mechanicum agents." He mused to himself. That particular meeting had been rather short, simply showing the containers full of xenos technology had sent the entire Machine Cult delegation into a frantic jumble of Binary and wildly shaking mechanadendrites. Eventually ending with an agreement to send the aid of the Cybernetica, and a bonus of priority raising when it came to resupply.

As he helped others prepare for takeoff and strapped in himself, he wondered how the Legion Master was doing.

Due to focused Diplomatic Efforts, Ohrmuzd will upgrade his Diplomatic skill after three more actions of the same type. Mechanicus Favor has risen to Liked, and you now receive priority attention involving resupply and repair. A token force of Legion Cybernetica warbots will be sent, improve relations further for more.

Planets recruited from begin having misgivings about their young men being taken away. These have been calmed by Ohrmuzd, but the planets taken from will still be unable to be utilized again for at least two turns without deleterious consequences. Current status of Aspirant Supply has been prevented from deteriorating.

As you watch the currently setting sun of the planet Orior IV, the sounds of power armored footsteps reach your ears. Their owner stopping a few feet behind you before speaking. "My Lord, it is like you said. They are dug in like a tick inside the mountain, and refuse all entreaties for their surrender." You sigh before speaking. "Then we go to our second plan, blow the charges."

The Legionnaire clanks as he slams his fist across his chest in salute of you, before immediately running off to send the word through vox.

You turn just in time to hear the *BRAKADAK!* of the strategic melta charges placed across the entirety of the mountain arcology the last resistance on this planet had hid in. Something that most likely taken centuries of painstaking effort to complete was reduced to nothing more than rubble in a matter of seconds with a bit of strategic planning and the flick of a button.

The mountain itself has begun imploding, its top falling into itself as the rest of it follows suit. Starting from the top the entire mountain falls inward, assuredly crushing the entire megastructure inside.

As this happens you begin declaring orders over vox to begin packing up to move out to the next target system. With that done you calmly walk down the worn path leading from the top of the hill you had been admiring the sunset from. By now, night has fallen. And your operation zone is now filled with light from electric lamps, ship exhausts, and the inferno that once was a mighty mountain now reduced to a caldera of molten rock and broken dreams.

Hmph, you bet Aventus is up to his old market crash tricks again.

Fifteen systems with all their planets inhabited have been brought into the fold, while beforehand they were considering advancing outside of their systems they are now too devastated to reach that without aid. 15 Multiple Planet Inhabited Systems Gained.

As Aventus causes another planets market to crash, before immediately swooping in and purchasing everything that will allow him to assume complete control of their government. The Astartes ponder whether or not this is the right combination of speed and effectiveness needed for the Crusade to remain stable. While it definitely kept the infrastructure intact to a point,it also bred a certain level of corruption into the system as countless would-be-swindlers took advantage of the boom and ensuing chaos to improve their stations in life. Con-men rising to become politicians, warlords, and rulers, before immediately ceding him control to retain their power after his aid in getting them there.

It was incredibly distasteful, yet why was it beginning to seem like the most effective option? This thought continually echoing in his head as he continued mentally constructing a new economic trap for his next victim, the last inhabited planet in the system. Triarii III.

They had apparently opened up a rather deep well of pre-promethium based fuel and the ensuing the rush had resulted in quite a few countries being rendered penniless. Being reduced to auctioning off parts of their territory to break even.

As he began planning even more intricately how to ruin the planet's economy he sets these thoughts to the side. For now, at least.

10 Systems with multiple planets have been economically crushed and absorbed by the Imperiums thanks to Aventus' work. 5 more systems with only a single planet inhabited were picked up as an afterthought in the ensuing sector wide collapse of economic stability.

Aventus requires 47 more successful Logistical actions to raise his statistic. He also has begun attempting to find more efficient ways of ensuring compliance.

Author's Note* Alright, here' the update. I'll be placing the next planning in the next couple of days after I have finished my final project, exam, and gone through my orientation for University.

Semi-Canon/Accurate - Tyrian's Relationship With Different Potential GeneSires
That really will fall to whether or not he actually respects you enough to listen to you. Magnus' ego is the size of a solar system, something that is uniform throughout the multiverse. Plus, with Tyrian picking up the weight of leading the Crusade so effectively there is less impetus for Magnus to find things other than psychically experimenting to fill his time.

So i am trying to make a list about the different relationship Tyrian would have with his primarch if he was in a different legion. Could you say if i am right and help me complete all the primarchs?
  • Horus : Cordial relation but there is an undercurrent of tension from Horus: As we are an adopted son of the emperor we are source of half of his various daddy issues and mental hangups.
  • Leman Russ: Actually would be pretty weird: We killed his brother in his stead therefore fulfilling the mission since we are his son and we kept him from being a kinslayer and yet...
  • . Secundus: What ? Of course Tyrian is the primarch of the 2nd legion ! He didn't kill him and replace him on the order of the emperor !
  • Ferrus Manus: Lot of shouting, Jesus that a lot of shouting: Ferrus is a brutal asscrack with an affinity for collateral damage and this is what Tyrian disliked in the emperor.
  • Fulgrim: Love triangle: who will Fulgrim-chan choose ? The sophisticated Tyrian or the rough Ferrus Manus ? Jokes aside we would probably slot in a similar relationship as those two: Moreover our mad skillz in melle would probably endear ourselves to him. Finally we probably used one of our favour to save the legion.
  • Vulkan: Tyrian would probably like the primarch even if the opposite is not that true: We are pretty brutal in combat and are not as casualty averse as he is.
  • Rogal Dorn:Fond exasperation from the primarch, we are good but our skill are probably perpendicular to the skills necessary for the primarch way of fighting. Horror from the primarch as he see Sigismund"Oh no there are two of them".
  • Guilliman: Distant but cordial: He is a general, we are a warrior first. Our interest in bettering humanity intersect. Tyrian can do the most good in his legion by being the beatstick that Roboute is not.
  • Magnus: Our presence in Magnus legion make him worse. I mean, before at least he had to take time from his research to lead his legion, now... Hikkikomori Magnus.
  • Sanguinius: A nervous wreck: We killed a primarch, we do not say why and we are in his legion: it is either a great honour or the emperor was suspicious from the beginning , i suspect a comedy of error as Hawkboy try to conceal the red thirst from tyrian. Or a violent psychological breakdown.
  • Lion ElJohnson: He is secretive, we are pretty secretive, he sees himself as a man that no one else can compare to and constantly toils to maintain this standard, we are an astartes that train himself constantly and are at primarch level, so... pretty good relationship. Mountains of salts are generated by Luthor.
  • Perturabo: Seething jealousy: The iron warriors would probably cover themselves in glory in this iteration and yet Perty would be even more angry since the glory would be ours not his(inferiority complex see his confrontation with the sculptor). He can't directly kill us, so he send us in the deadliest part of the fight which makes us gain even more glory... it is an endless cycle.
  • Mortarion: "Your approval fill me with shame" They are incredibly similar and yet Tyrian think Mortarion is too extreme.
  • Lorgar: We know noodles incidents and the failling of the emperor so the relationship would be pretty strained Even more if we let out we can really close to killing Big E.
  • Jaghatai Khan: Tyrian would probably get along very well with him: See emperor as flawed, high level of autonomy, hate stagnation. Idea for a touching scene: Tyrian learning to ride a Jetbike with training wheels to makes his primarch proud.
  • Kurze: Pity from one side, gratefulness from the other, we probably used one of our favour to have the emperor go take a look to what cause the vision.
  • Angron: Pretty good: When you are ready to die with your slave brothers and 10000 of your trans-humans sons teleport to help you win and then the greatest of them use two priceless favour to remove the nails that plagued your life and to transform your brothers into astartes i think the relationship is great !
  • 11th primarch: What ? Of course Tyrian is the primarch of the 11th legion ! He didn't kill him and replace him on the order of the emperor ! That is absurd !
  • Corvus Corax: Amusement and "Are you sure he is my son ?" We are straightforward and do not use stealth. A new term is created "Tyrian Stealth: The enemy can't see you if you killed all of them !"
  • Alpharius: "I am Alpharius" Tyrian bring a level of beatstick that is really useful since Alpharius was not really that high in combat power.

Compliance Stage 1: Planning 2
"Following the end of my endeavors I simply scooped up all of the planetary systems that were affected enough by my economical tweaking to be heading towards the predicted line where all of them would begin starving and promised to feed them and fix their money troubles." With this, Aventus takes a breath before continuing. "Most folded faster than a civilian in the face of a charging Ork, and those who remained stubborn I simply completely collapsed their economies and picked up the pieces enough for their own remaining governmental bodies both political and criminal to fix it themselves." With the end of his report he simply asked to be released to return to his usual duties. With a nod from you he walked off back towards his portion of the command center.

The next to report would be from Ohrmuzd about his diplomatic endeavors. Even as he steps to make his report you can tell he's still nervous to be up here doing something so important, hopefully it will pass with time. You shake yourself from your musings as he begins his report. "My entreaties with the Mechanicum were incredibly brisk and uncomplicated, they seemed almost overjoyed with our gift and were willing to gift us with both a token force of Cybernetica Legion and Priority Service when it comes to repairs and maintenance. In my own opinion it was quite the windfall." He grins a bit at this before becoming serious again. "As for recruitment, sadly I was only able to find enough worthy aspirants to maintain our current recruitment level. Though I was able to calm the planets they came from, we will still not be able to call on them for this kind of service for some time."

The conversation continues with part of your attention focused on it and asking questions, as the rest of your mind focuses on the campaign ahead. Thankfully everyone around is already used to your behavior, which could be considered quite rude elsewhere.

Compliance Stage 1: Results 2
You look out from the bridge of The Argo, staring down upon the former system of Argosax. What had once been a thriving and bountiful paradise had been reduced to nothing more than balls of molten rock and floating asteroid fields. An utter treasure, a system full of only paradise worlds made before the Dark Age of Technology. Ten different spotless worlds crafted by humanity utterly ruined by Orkish hands, along with their inhabitants.

The first harbinger of its devastation had been an Orkish warfleet which had arrived in the system a year beforehand, unleashing destruction wherever they went. Their base and idiotic nature urging them to murder and enslave to their hearts content. The people being unused to warfare were quickly either enslaved, turned into food, or tossed into quickly established arenas as entertainment. Often with their fates quickly changing to one of the latter once the Greenskins were bored or hungry enough.

By the time the Crusade Fleet had arrived the interstellar governing body of Argosax had collapsed. While its people were left at the mercy of the Greenskins. Children being used as no more than Squig fodder, mothers as target practice and domestic slaves, and the menfolk old or strong enough tossed into harsh labor or arenas to battle each other for the amusement of their vicious overlords.

Your hands grip the arm rests of your command throne tight enough for cracks to begin forming. The memories of what you had to do to cleanse the infestation already bringing up bitter anger once again. Of how much was lost to mankind, the lives of so many people, the treasure that was the triumph of mankind embodied by the Argosax system, and like in many other places the sanctity of peace and happiness.

Your brothers, under your own command had come across a system covered in orkish technology and dare you say it, blasphemy against mankind. Massive scrap satellites dotted everywhere across the system, along with countless immense orkish metropolises covering the planets of Argosax. Any trace of the culture of the root of humanity who had called this place home was eradicated by the brutes.

Your response to this was as efficient as it was brutal, your stores of Phosphex were opened. Specialty weaponry was loaded with it. Before you and your men dropped to the planets below. The Orkish fleet and space stations having been utterly gutted before they could respond, manned by only a lazy skeleton crew, only there as punishment to be separate from the current celebrations going on among the hordes of the Warmaster.

They didn't know what hit them, when your drop pods touched down. A curtain of ghost white flames emanating from every opened door of the pods, boiling countless boys sat frozen mid-card game, numerous Nobs having laughs bullying smaller orks, and Warbosses thinking they had what it took to lead the next raid for the Warmaster. The Argosax System having been "cushy" enough for the Orks to decide to make it their home and base to plan raids on the neighboring systems.

It was the first time you had heard an Ork scream for anything other than battlelust or amusement. And it was absolutely musical. Their begging for mercy, their outright cries of pain and torment. Their debt to the people of the system, and to mankind as a whole being repaid most dearly.

As the Phosphex seemed to almost appear to enjoy the Ork's suffering, dancing and waving back-and-forth almost as if it had a life of its own. That none of your own number was injured or killed by the substance was outright unbelievable, even as you saw your own brothers miraculously had no trouble with the infamously unwieldy fluid themselves.

Thus it was, you moved planet to planet. Burning the Orks and their monuments to nothing more than slag, even as you torched the planets themselves to ensure no infestation of spores. It was inexcusable, even an abomination, to destroy this sign of Man's greatness. But, they had already beeen irrevocably tainted. If this purge was not performed, the Greenskins would simply do this all over again.

When you had finally found their Warmaster, one Dakka von Zogthunder, on the planet of Zathrus in what was once the system government capital building, you had taken your time. Destroyed every sign of Orkish resistance, crushed every single Greenskin from the runtiest Snotling to the largest Warboss in hordes dotted across the planet. When the Ork was finally all alone, you had gone to him. Having trapped him inside of the former government head's office, refashioned as the brutes throne room.

It wasn't really much of a fight, a few feints, an occasional back-step or two, and he was rendered into nothing but a torso and a head. That's when you REALLY go to work.

He definitely was an exemplar of his species, idiotic yet cunning, brutal yet inspiring. Either way, he started screaming after the tenth hour of your ministration. Started begging for mercy after the fifteenth. At the twentieth, he simply begged for an end. By the twenty fourth hour of your work, there was no spark of life left in his eyes, though he was still breathing. Only then did you separate his last extremity, and left his head with a relieved expression on its face.

After that, Zarthrus would be the final planet sterilized.

Shaking yourself out of the memories when you sensed someone at your side. It was Ahriman, having accompanied you on your endeavor while his brother went off to improve your compliance's opinions of the Fifteenth and acquire more Aspirants for the Legion. With a morose voice, he begins his report. "As recognition for destroying the Orks, the systems surrounding Argosax have sworn fealty and service to the Imperium of Man. Furthermore, Astartes Ohrmuzd and Aventus have both reported success. With Ohrmuzd's being most spectacular." He pauses for a moment before continuing. "We have now reached the border between what the Emperor has designated as the galactic center and the galactic east, with our conquests to be consolidated into sub-sectors and sectors as to simplify bureaucracy."

You don't turn away from the viewport, eyes still locked on the ruins of the former paradise system even as you respond. "Very well, I will debrief them in three hours. Let them know they will have those three hours to complete their minor duties and to refresh themselves after their endeavors."

Ahriman acknowledges your decree with a nod before speaking, his voice tinted by the vox of his armors helmet as is yours. Neither of you had ever bothered to remove your armor on your return. "I understand my lord, I will see to it that they receive their orders." He begins to walk off before pausing, his booted feet clunking as they come to a stop.

He turns back to you, his armor clanking being all the indication you need. "Legion Master, I have a query." You finally turn to look at him, his body language is obvious. His voice is quiet and subdued, having removed his helmet and currently holding it with both hands. He's taken this compliance quite hard. You nod, giving your permission. "Granted." He finally speaks after struggling to for several seconds. "Why do things like this happen Legion Master? Why do horrible beings like the Orks have to exist, and why do so many innocent people have to suffer for it?" His tone is a mixture of anger, sorrow, and just pure fatigue.

You look at him, he has truly been aged by this compliance. Exhaustion lines his face, as dark circles surround his eyes. Searching for some kind of answer to the madness he has witnessed.

Sadly, you do not have one. "I do not know Ahriman. I have not known since I was a young child. I do not think I will know even when I finally die." His eyes fall a bit more. "All I know, is to hold onto those I care for and cherish. For as long as I am able."

He looks back up at you. "Does that help?" His eyes have gained a hopeful tint.

You give him a half smile after removing your own helmet. "Yes, though it is no cure to this universes' trials, it will still ease your soul like nothing else."

Ahriman seems to be comforted by the idea, giving you a gracious smile and farewell as he departs to fulfill your orders. "I thank you for the advice Legion Master, I will do my best to follow it."

With that, the bridge door shuts closed. Leaving you alone for now. You chuckle darkly to yourself. "If only the universe didn't think it amusing to take our loved ones." With that thought you resume watching the sight outside the viewport.

Author's Note: Sorry for the wait and the lackluster update, It's been a trying few couple of weeks. With preparing for university in the Fall, lining up my job schedule, and the death of a loved one, I've kind of been tapped for creative inspiration. So I can only ask for your forgiveness.

Some of Tyrian's Issues
I actually have more stuff to post, thank Azgrin that I'm doing this now.

Yeah, I actually haven't commented on it in thread but losing that many "pod" brothers has actually messed him up something fierce. As you might expect, Astartes tend to form incredibly strong bonds with each other be it familial love or hate, this is increased if they share the same "generation" as it were. Should you have been part of the same batch of aspirants you are more able to understand their point of view and empathize with them. Thus creating stronger bonds and antagonisms.

Now, during the Unification Wars the first 5,000 were the ONLY Astartes created at the time. The next batch was only started when the Wars were dead and gone, the first stage of the Primarch project had begun reaching completion, and the Great Crusade preparations were beginning.

In my own estimate, it took the Emperor three hundred years to finally unify Terra and cleanse it of all the horrors of the War with the Men of Iron and the Age of Strife, along with every other horror that had arisen on Terra in the meantime. During all of that Tyrian and his pod brothers were the spear head along with the remaining Thunder Warriors. Fighting against DAOT monstrosities and creations across Terra and within her. Countless Men of Iron that had taken refuge within the planetary scale thermal bore holes dug into Terra's crust, constantly moving through pitch black catacombs the size of continents to hunt down things that were threats to Man at their peak.

Many of his brothers died, often horribly and without dignity. While Astartes are not affected physically by age, they are still very much affected by the weight of their memories. Tyrian remembers every brother he lost both Astartes and Thunder Warrior, every moment of heroism, and every moment of vulnerability during their down time.

He also remembers how jubilant faces about Terra's re-unification among both turned to sorrowful masks when the order to head to Mount Ararat was declared. Sure, the Thunder Warriors travelled there willingly. It would be a fine end to be given a warriors death by their younger brothers. But still, it's stuck with everyone of the first 5,000 who survived the Wars of Terra.

Vorpal: This weapon is so supernaturally sharp that nothing can withstand it. A weapon with this quality ignores all enemy armour and Toughness Bonus, and force fields roll with a penalty of 40 to their protection rating when attempting to avoid damage dealt by this weapon.

Onwards To A New Chapter (Life Goes On)
As Ohrmuzd directed the literal thousands of new aspirants aboard the many Storm Birds he had to wonder about the sanity of the people on these planets. A few simple words with their leaders and they begin practically throwing young boys at him to be recruited. He didn't know it could be that easy!

A knocking on his armored leg roused him from his musings, and looking he down he saw a rather small and young male child. With one of his arms wrapped around a stuffed grox plushy and the other having been withdrawn back to his mouth after being used to knock on the Astarte's boot.

The young child is definitely afraid of him, but still, he's brave enough to ask a simple question. "Where we goin Mister Giant?"

The sight alone is enough to unsettle Ohrmuzd's naturally friendliness, simply due to the fact a child this young shouldn't be thrown into the crucible of Astarte-hood and after that, war. He should be home with his family enjoying his childhood. But, he had already been informed that the Legion's aspirants were all sourced from the orphanages of the sub-sector.

Thinking quickly, the Astartes makes a decision. Removing his helmet, he begins speaking with the boy. "We're going up to meet your new family little brother. Up in the stars with the rest of our brothers." His reply is soft as he kneels down as far as he can to eye level with the lad. "We're all going out into the universe to battle the bad guys so that people can have places to live."

The young lad gives him a considering look before speaking. "Is it gunna be scary?" His face one of complete trust yet also concern.

Ohrmuzd gives a reassuring smile. "It can be, but as long as we have our brothers and each other it'll never beat us."

The young boy eyes go wide at that, before he burst into an enormous smile. Reaching his arms out in a sign that he wished to be picked up, something the Astartes acquiesced to before beginning to walk toward one of the Stormbirds. With the young boy rest in the crook between his head and one of his pauldrons, a thought occurs.

Looking to the lad he asks. "What's your name little brother?" The question regaining the excited boys attention.

His response. "Ma named me Cedric fore she got sick. Then I got taken to the house with all the ovver kids."

Ohrmuzd give him another gentle smile before speaking. "It's nice to meet you Cedric. I hope to be the best older brother I can be to you and all the other boys." And with that, the Astartes carried the young child with him onto one of the departing Stormbirds.

Due to Diplomatic Excellence Ohrmuzd has gathered an extreme surplus of Aspirants while also somehow ingratiating himself with the powers of the sub-sectors. Both sub-sectors opinions of the Fifteenth are at Liked. Additionally, Ohrmuzd has advanced in his Diplomatic Skill. He is now at 5/4 Diplomacy, and has forged a bond with a young orphan named Cedric.

Aventus calmly sits back, sipping a special blend of recaff in his goblet as he watches half the entire Sector's economy crash into a black hole. While the other half simply hobbles along on broken legs and snapped crutches. He'll be receiving the reports from his underlings about successful buyouts across the sector by the end of the week. Just as he calculated.

Still, he has to wonder if his methods might eventually be even more destructive than simply putting dissenters to the sword as Tyrian did. His tools were backroom deals, criminal heads, and old fashioned corruption in businesses. If he wasn't careful he could very well create a monster that would strangle the Imperium in its crib.

With that cheerful thought he began typing up orders for tax plans to be implemented, new trade laws, and classifications and permits for different pieces of technology. Starting with the Sigilite's standard procedure, before branching out and modifying it to fit the sector as it had developed. Setting up traps and ambushes by planetary and up law enforcement to catch the expendable criminals and keep the useful ones in line. For now, at least.

As he sat he hummed a simple tune he remembered from his childhood on Terra. A rather simple one about a strange striped feline that enjoyed bouncing on its tail, a Ger if he recalled the texts correctly. Tyrian always seemed both amused and saddened whenever he had hummed it in his presence. Whatever mysteries the Legion Master had could wait, he had a job to do.

With that, Aventus turned his full attention back to his economic analysis program he was building on his cogitator in order to aid his future endeavors. All the while still humming that song.

Aventus has completed the last few systems and sub-sectors to finish the last full sector of what will become Segmentun Solar. Thankfully due to his expertise he has limited the amount of corruption left behind by methods. Though another in-depth cleaning would not be amiss.

Author's Note: I'm gonna be simplifying the layout of the quest, as I do not have the head for the numbers needed. I hope this doesn't discourage people from playing but will understand if it does. I will also be lessening the amount of actions Heroes and Leaders can perform in order to get more people to be used.

MORATORIUM UNTIL 12:00 PM tomorrow EST.
