An Indifference of Larks: A GliTch Quest

Heyhey! Long-time lurker here. 10/10 chapter as always, and if you're not happy with it then that simply strikes Fear Into My Heart when one considers what magics might be contained within an excellent chapter that the author likes.

Speaking from personal experience, authors never like what they create. There is always the feeling of inadequacy and imperfection, the fear of not transmitting properly the Idea that they have, the utter certainty that if they work on it for just one more day, they will find all mistakes, hunt all the errors, iron out the kinks and so on and so forth. We try to not do it, for this way lies the Ruin of Endless Revisions where books dwell for all eternity in distress and disarray, doomed to never be read by anyone except their dissatisfied creator.

Where was I?
Ah, right.

Sweet Harumaph, why didn't I find this quest earlier? I adore Nobilis and Glitch and, seeing as its so immensly hermetic, it's rare to find any adventure on the Internet. And here not only is one running, but just. So. Exquisite. You nail this foundational ah-ness of Glitch, the idea that world might be wrong, but it doesn't mean it can't be beautiful. So far, I've fell in love with all the character and I secod the sentiment that they need a hug and being told they're not failures. I wish I could write characters half as beautiful.
So, tying it all together - I wish you all the best in further writing, here and beyond. I'm looking forward to Magistrix Eilind's further works.

I regret to announce that this is the end.

I am leaving SV, effective immediately; and as such, I do not see any future in which this story is completed.

If, at some future date, I manage to get myself into a place where I can either continue or restart this story, I will endeavor to alert all of you; but in the meantime, please know that I genuinely did appreciate everyone who commented and read my silly little story, even if I wasn't maybe the best at leaving likes or replying to comments. It meant a great deal to me, and I am very sad to have to go.

Goodbye.

Sorry to hear that. Thanks sincerely for a genuinely amazing story and an interesting setting. Good luck in all things and may your Anti-christmases always be merry.

Edit: following you now so I can always find your content if the urge to read strikes me.

:(

It's a pity that it had to be so. I genuinly fell in love with your characters and writing and it's with sorrow that I say to them goodbye.
Still, I will be waiting if you choose to return. The world might be wrong, but there are nice things in it. Stories in particular.

Really sorry to hear that. You've been an inspiration for everything I've written since I first came across your writings. The forum will be poorer without you.

If and when you decide to write again, please do let us know where you'll be at.

I can't come up with any better way to say this, but:
I will miss you, and your beautiful disasters of people.

We truly enjoyed this story while it lasted. We hope you find anything you are looking for.

I have no idea if you'll ever read this, but I want to say it anyway:
I just reread Hug Your Destiny, and was reminded that I first started reading this quest because your comments on HYD showed several thoughts I had vaguely had, but would never have been able to express anywhere near as well. I have no idea how strongly my impression that we have similar personalities holds true to life, but I wish you well in all your endeavors, and hope you will share your ideas here again someday.
