Heyhey! Long-time lurker here. 10/10 chapter as always, and if you're not happy with it then that simply strikes Fear Into My Heart when one considers what magics might be contained within an excellent chapter that the author likes.
Speaking from personal experience, authors never like what they create. There is always the feeling of inadequacy and imperfection, the fear of not transmitting properly the Idea that they have, the utter certainty that if they work on it for just one more day, they will find all mistakes, hunt all the errors, iron out the kinks and so on and so forth. We try to not do it, for this way lies the Ruin of Endless Revisions where books dwell for all eternity in distress and disarray, doomed to never be read by anyone except their dissatisfied creator.
Where was I?
Ah, right.
Sweet Harumaph, why didn't I find this quest earlier? I adore Nobilis and Glitch and, seeing as its so immensly hermetic, it's rare to find any adventure on the Internet. And here not only is one running, but just. So. Exquisite. You nail this foundational ah-ness of Glitch, the idea that world might be wrong, but it doesn't mean it can't be beautiful. So far, I've fell in love with all the character and I secod the sentiment that they need a hug and being told they're not failures. I wish I could write characters half as beautiful.
So, tying it all together - I wish you all the best in further writing, here and beyond. I'm looking forward to Magistrix Eilind's further works.
