Agents of Heaven and Hell

think you're just the big, tough, stupid human who things he can fight monsters because he can beat some street punks."
We exploded some zombies, so I think we should get some credit.

You think so? Is that coming from the bully who uses words instead of actions to hurt others." you tell him, catching him completely off guard. his eyes widen in shock and his smug grin is no longer on his face. Good.
Surprised that he lost his cool, so early in Jojo's analysis. I figured he would react at least 2/3's the way through as his face morphs from smug to disdain.

Edit:
Ouch! Yeah that probably was never ending well. I wonder if the other trainees will catch Jotaro DIDN'T get read like a book there unlike the rest of them.
We did, but it wasn't particularly effective. As around prologue turn 5-8 where JoJo keeps getting shot in place of the healer and we could do nothing to stop, JoJo knows he's outmatched.

man, can't wait for the moment when Jotoro can go full badass and go WHAPANG.
anyway...
Soul Arts:
Soul Art are skills that are added to other calculations as bonuses. These arts are the basics for any person who controls the power of their soul, which allows them to manipulate the Celestial Particles (a universal force that is filling every living and nonliving object in the world. It is as much a force in this setting as gravity, electromagnetism etc.) that fill the person's surrounding to increase their power to fight against one another.

Soul Pulse: An art in which the user emits the energy of his own soul outwards after collecting an amount of Celestial Particles from the outside world. Gives bonus to magical damage, magical defense and MP by Mastery Level.

Light Essence: An art in which the user uses Celestial Particles to make their bodies lighter in order to move faster and attack faster. Gives bonus to hit rate, avoidance and turn order.

Iron Will: The user hardens his body by gathering outer Celestial Particles around their skin, tightening the bonds between them, creating a protective, invisible outer shell. Gives a bonus to HP, Physical Damage and Physical Defense.
Rolling 1d2................2! Plan Fighting Spirit wins!

Now, just because the character looks and sounds like Jotaro Kujo, it's a different setting from Jojo, so his powers won't be the same. No [Star Platinum: The World] here, which is a damn shame because it's my favorite Stand in all of Jojo, but I'll try to write this Jotaro to be a bit similar in personality to the real Jotaro we know and love.

So what level and soul mastery would we have to reach to be able to become star platinum: The world?:p
@Qudrim8054
1. Anyhow I was also was wondering since the magic system seemed vague, what are the limits of this so called 'Soul Arts' and 'Celestial Particles'? Are what we can do with it technically limitless with the required power to do so?

Reading through the mechanics it seems you can do whatever the heck you want with them as long as you got enough power to do so and was wondering if we could make a Stand Star Platinum: The World Projections of our selves to fight, maybe stop time or whatever. Resurrect someone.

2. What can we expect from magic going forward i guess is what i'm wondering here for our brawler character besides strengthening ourselves?

do we get exp for surviving the prologue or completing it the MC only needs 5 exp to level up?
No. You don't. Unfortunately.
I probably shouldn't have been enjoying him roast the squad, but I did. Sorry.
Don't worry, I did too.

Nope. [Star Platinum: The World] is my favorite Jojo Stand, but I won't have it here with the time stop ability, because it's a story breaker power. [Star Platinum] might appear in some shape or form, but without [The World] element that it has.

1. Well, it is supposed to be somewhat vague, but also has some explanations, it's not completely limitless, but later powers are going to be based on the personality of the characters.

2. The brawler might have more than just up close and personal abilities, but there aren't that many.

Anyway, I'm going to start the update sometime today and end it in sometime at the end of the week.

New Beginnings
You see darkness as you feel your head hurting and pounding like never in your life. The fog that is clouding you still not completely gone. All that you see is darkness. Are you still unconscious?

You then see a light, as you open your eyes slowly, your vision being so incredibly blurry that you can register anything that a white light in the room. Where are you? This is definitely not your house. What happened last night?

Then the last thing you remember flashes in your head, the memory of your skin feeling like it's on fire when that mysterious Katsumi Riduko put that talisman on your right forearm, as his words flash in your mind.

'I was going to do this to you anyway, just so that I could make an interesting game for me to enjoy. Now though, I'm going to take a lot of pleasure in hearing you squirm like a worm.' the words echo in your head, remembering the fury and disdain he held for you at that moment.

Your eyes widen as your foggy vision focuses slightly on your right forearm while you sit up, and you distinctly see something black on it. You spin your forearm back and forth and despite how blurry your vision still is, you can tell that whatever mark Katsumi put on your arm, it spread across the entire forearm.

When your vision finally becomes clear, you can definitely tell what the mark looks like. At the center of the outer area of your forearm, you see a black, trident-shaped key extending from your elbow up to the back of your hand. You also notice that the rest of the markings on your right forearm are also black in color. Around the key itself there are two black serpents that look like they are made of fire wrapped around not only the key itself, but around your entire forearm. So that's what you just saw with your blurry vision.

You certainly don't like this. You can't tell where you are at. The room around you doesn't have any windows and there is nothing on the ceiling to really make in the room. You then look around to see that there are a network of floating candles that are emanating very small light, but they still cast enough light to see things clearly in the room. You look at your bed and you finally notice how comfortable the mattress you sit on really is. It feels fluffy but also extremely light, not to mention white. Wait a minute, the mattress is a cloud.

You also notice that you are not wearing your shirt, jacket, hat or pants anymore. Instead you notice that you're wearing a white robe made of several layers of silk.

"So you're finally up, eh Jotaro?" you hear someone ask you as the voice echoes into the room from a separate room, as if there is some sort of sound network in this room, despite having no speakers. Where are you exactly?

"You finally got up. I was starting a little worried after the second night." the voice tells you as you take in the words, though your mind isn't completely clear yet. You feel you are definitely still recovering. Did he say that second night? By connotations that means that you have been sleeping for two days and two nights in a row? That now you are awake after a third day? Just what did that Katsumi bastard did to you.

Wait a minute...that voice...it belongs to a man, ad by the sound of how gruff it is, someone who isn't young. Also, you can understand what he's saying perfectly, but he isn't speaking Japanese, rather English. Not to mention that he knows your name and has a thick accent...

No...no,no,no. What the hell is he doing here, wherever this place is? Why is that old man visiting you? What sort of business does he have to do with you?

As you think all of this, an opening appears in the wall and from it enters the old man. He walks towards you with a happy smile on his face, making you scowl at him. "It's been so long since I've last seen you, Jotaro. Come on and give your grandfather a hug." he continues to speak to you, his tone joyful which you can understand. You, however, are not going to give him the satisfaction.

You snicker at him as you look at him with an angry expression. "What the hell do you want from me, you old man?" you ask him as you show your dislike of him. Last time you saw him was a bit more than half-a-decade ago, and ever since he hasn't even kept in touch with you. Your grandma did call from time to time, but this old bastard never showed up to at least be a caring family member, like your other grandfather is to you. Why is he coming now, of all times?

This makes your grandfather from your mother's side to scowl at you and lower his hands. "Is that how you greet your grandfather, you punk?" he asks you with a displeased scowl on his face. "And I thought my angel Holly taught you some manners. Must be that delinquent father of yours. Not only did he take my Holly from me, not only did he caused her to defect from the Knights of Order and hide for years, but now I find out that he and his side of the family turned my only grandson into a delinquent punk? I'll never forgive the Japanese!" he rants in his native language with anger and disdain in his voice while you simply roll your eyes.

You completely forgot how he would rant about Japanese whenever he would come. Maybe not having him around was...Wait, what did he just say?

"What did you just say? You said my parents were knights in the Knights of Order?" you ask him, keeping the conversation in English as your eyes are now slightly wider than a moment before.

"Of course she was. You parents met on a mission and eloped together. Did she not tell you this?" your grandfather inquires as you merely shake your head, keeping a stern look on your face. This seems to actually shock your grandfather. "That's odd. She always was so proud of being a knight of the order. I don't get why she wouldn't tell you about it. Must be your father's influence." he tries to think about this as well, but when he tries to put the blame on your father again, you simply roll your eyes.

"So where are we, anyway? What is this place and why exactly are you also here? Shouldn't you be helping fighting monsters for the sake of king and country, Baron Joestar?" you inquire of him, while also sneering his title of baron and mock the usual mindset of an Englishman.

Your grandfather simply scowls at you as you can see that he isn't pleased with how you talk to him, which brings you enough of a satisfaction for now. "We are in The Solar Dimension, where the headquarters of The Knights of Order is located. However, since this dimension is so huge in size, the headquarters themselves split into smaller headquarters. We are in the Asia Sector of the order, which is-" he explains to you as you take the information into your head, trying to quickly adapt to the situation.

"Responsible of watching all of Asia and most likely solve situations like the one I git involved in, correct?" you finish his sentence with a question, just to make sure you figured it out, and your English grandfather simply nods.

"Yes." he answers your question.

"So what about you, old man? Are you with the knights as well?" you keep inquiring him, to which he simply nods as he crosses his arms in front of his chest. You then look at the tattoo on your right forearm as you inspect it for several moments, before raising it to face height so that your grandfather can see it. "So what is that tattoo on my arm? Do you know of it?" you inquire out of your grandfather with an interested tone to your voice.

"Yes." he tells you as he rubbs it's chin. "It's a Hellgate Key, ment to forcefully open and close rifts in reality." he tells you a-matter-of-factly manner.

This clicks immediately in your mind once more to what Kumido Riduko said to you before putting this on your arm. He intentionally did this because he wants to open more rifts and have you close it. He wants to have more of his own brand of fun and use you for it.

This realization makes you clench your hands into fists and growl angrily. If that bastard wants to have a fun game, then you will make sure to outsmart him.

You take a deep sigh as you look at your grandfather once more. "Thank you for visiting, if that's what you want to hear. Now if I'm here, with something that important on my arm, then I guess I have no other choice than to join these Knights of Order, right?" you ask him, already pretty sure of the answer that you will get.

Your English grandfather gives you a large grin that reaches from one ear to the other. "Technically, you're already a part of them now. You just have to sign the final papers." he tells you with pride in his voice as you simply sigh with disappointment.

"Did someone at least notified my grandfather back home about this?" you ask with defeat in your voice, as you are smart enough to know that you can't fight your way out of it and now with this key on your arm, they wouldn't let you go willingly.

Suddenly the door opens and another figure walks in. It's a tall and slender man with a large pair of white, hawk-like wings, a long, wavey, golden-blonde hair, who wears a pair of glasses over a pair of eyes with two amber pupils who is wearing a long, white silk robe, just like you are wearing. He looks at you with a calculating and serious expression in his eyes as he carries some files in his arms. You look and examine him with your eyes carefully, noting that that must be either a full-blooded Angel or a Nephelim.

"It has been taken care of, Mr. Kujo. Your grandfather in Kuriyako Town has been notified of the situation by a pair of knights and our trainees that put you in this situation, each one of them giving him their sincerest apologies." the man tells you as he looks in his files as you feel a little bit of relief over the fact that your grandfather knows where you are, what happened to you and most importantly that you are safe.

You simply stare at the man as you keep yourself level-headed as you regain your barings fully. "Are you not going to introduce yourself? Wouldn't it be rude to not do so?" you ask him with a matter-of-fact tone to your voice.

You see him adjusting his glasses before answering. "You are correct. My name is Suda Ryota. My apologies for my lack of manners, I do not tend to meet new recruits often and mostly just an administrative officer, but your family history with the order made things more complicated that it required my imput." he tells you as he looks at the files and once again adjusts his glasses.

"Now, because of Trainee Ito's desicion to recruit your help in their mission, their entire group will not be allowed to go to missions, which will give you enough time to learn the basics, since you will be now officially joined up with them, Trainee Kujo." he tells you, now refering to yourself as trainee as well. "The academy will give you the choice of to study there, though I do reccomend that you spend some time in the library to inform yourself of content that our order did not release to the public on Earth." he keeps instructing and talking to you of what your life will probably look now.

Great, just great. Now you will have to suffer that group's annoying dramas on a daily basis. At the very least you now apparently have access to ways to make yourself grow stronger in order to face that Katsumi bastard in case you'll see him again.

Then the old man decides to open his mouth. "And as for a bonus of you being both my grandson and untrained in the ways of the order, I've decided to give you a tutor to help you out." he tells you as his smug grin is still plastered all over his face.

Dammit. Does he think of you as some rich spoiled brat or an idiot who needs a tutor. God, this old man is aggitating.

The winged man then starts talking again. "Since you seem to be well by all of our tests, you are now allowed to go to your new room, which you will be excorted to. There will be a phone, a radio and an emergency button, so if you are feeling unwell or something new happens to you, please call the infirmary." he tells you as he gives you a small electronic pad that you take from him, which you notice contains an excessive amount of information.

You simply nod as a retort as you start looking at the information on the pad for a few seconds. Then you close it and put it in one of the pockets of the robe, which surprisingly has very deep pockets.

Suda then turns around towards the wall, which opens up and allows him to leave. However, before he fully exits the room, he turn around slightly so that his glance can reach you. "By the way, today is Sunday, the Christian day of sermons. You will start going the academy from tomorrow. All information is in your pad." he tells you as he turns around and leaves the room, with the walls closing behind him.

There are a few moments of silence in the room as you start thinking to yourself about the whole situation, about how your life are going to change now so drastically. How are you going to settle in this place? What are you going to do? This is all so insane and you have no answers to anything right now. Hell, you just woke up to find yourself in a whole different dimension.

"Jotaro," you hear the old man adressing you as you look at him, now sitting besides you with concern on his face. "I can't imagine how difficult all of this is, but I did my best to try and help you out here, so you won't have to do this by yourself. You will also have friends here to help you out and that kind of help is the biggest one you'll get, trust me on this." he tells you with a comforting tone to his voice as he taps you on the shoulder. Maybe the old man isn't so bad after all? When he is around, of course.

He then gets up and walks towards the opening wall before turning around to look at you again. "If you ever need a good advice or spiritual guidance, just go to the tutor I sent for you. His name is Muhamed Abdul, and I taught him almost everything that he knows." he tells you with a bit of pride in his voice as he walks out of the room as well.

Maybe you will do that if you need to. Maybe...

You enter your room through a door, which is shocking considering how strange the entrance and exit from the infirmary rooms are. Though despite it being a regular door, there are so many locks based on codes, finger prints, retinal scans and blood testing just to open this door. That's by itself is insane.

The room that you enter to looks like a regular Japanese room, with a tatami flooring and a large mattress that, much like in the room you slept in for the last three days, was made of condensed clouds. It also seems to have a modern-looking kitchen with many electronic tools. You also find a bathroom which looks a bit more high-tech than the one in your house, which is a tiny bit concerning to be honest.

You also quickly locate the phone, the radio and the emergency button before you sit on the mattress, where there are also a pack of clothes which look very similar to your black jacket and cap in the materials and appearance, but it isn't exactly the same.

Leaving that aside, you take out the pad that you were given and turn it on. When it's finally in the desktop, your eyes already find several applications: Personal Mail app, Academy Central Page app, Instructions Manual app and Social Hub Network app.

You notice that there is a number over the mail app, so you open it and see several electronic letters on the app, one of which is from the administration office, which is the first one you decide to open and read.

"To Trainee Kujo Jotaro,
We at the administration office would like to congratulate you on becoming a trainee at the Dawn Training Academy, even if it is not the best of circumstances. Though not of your choice, you must understand that this is the best way to protect you and your family.
Now as a trainee of the academy, you will be required to participate in the following mandatory classes:

  • Spiritualism Class - The theoretical study of Celestial Particles, how they create souls and how they affect the body and your surrounding, as well as how to manipulate them.
  • Soul Arts Class - The practicle field of using the 3 basic Celestial Particles Manipulation Techniques, which are known as "Soul Arts".
  • Field and Warefare Tactics Class - Learning theoretical battle strategy and then practicing them in the form of tactical board games.
  • History Class - History of the world from the beginning of The Apocalypse and all the events that transpired in it and after it with the forming of The Knights of Order.
Each one of these lessons is merely two hours and only two of these takes place on a single day. As such, you are required to pick another class which you will attend everyday and will work on a certain skill. Here is a list of these classes, please reply to us before Monday and we will arrange that you will be put into that class.
  • Brewing Class - This class focuses on making different types of potions such as healing potions, cures and so one. A party must always have a supply of potions and they are quite expensive on their own. Brewing is a skill that could save lives on the field.
  • Computer Operation Class - Thanks to our help, Earth has gained a milenia of knowledge within just a few centuries. Now many kingdoms and countries on Earth, as well as many antagonistic factions use things like computers to contain data and secure their facilities. Those with the ability to operate computers handily are very dangerous opponents in these times, and this class teaches how to work on computers like a professional.
  • Traps Speciality Class - This class teaches studensts how to locate, escape, to booby-trap and disarm traps. Those who study this class can save lives by finding traps before they are active.
  • First Aid Class - If a unit does not have a Priest within its rank to heal the rest and you are low on potions, then the third best thing is a first aid specialist, which can stop dangerous wounds and internal bleeding.
  • Lockpicking Class - Many places have locks on them, especially information cabinets and secret rooms. For gaining information through paper-trails or entering an enemy faction's headquarters silently, lockpickers are the way to do so.
  • Talisman Making Class - Talismen are effective tools in combat, mostly used by Priests. However, anyone can make them. They can be used to cause different effects to enemies, such as paralyzing them, burning them and so on. These packs of paper are highly efficient and could save the life of your Priest.
We thank you for your time and pray that you shall adjust quickly.

The Knights of Order Administration Office."

You look at the list that they sent you and you start to think of all the pros and cons of what each skill can give you. After a while you finally decide on which class you decide to be your fifth one in the academy. You send a reply in which you write that you want to join the...

[ ] Brewing Class
[ ] Computer Operation Class
[ ] Trap Speciality Class
[ ] First Aid Class
[ ] Lockpicking Class
[ ] Talisman Making Class

You then look outside of your window and you notice that there is still a lot of light outside, with a sun and everything. You wonder if time goes by the same length as it does on Earth. You think to yourself on what you want to do now for the rest of the day. (Pick 3)

[ ] Go and find one of the trainees you are now grouped up with:
Since you now are on the same team with them, and they probably broyght you here, you at least should go and meet with at least one of them. They are also the only people you know here right now aside from Suda Ryota.
-[ ] Ito Ami: Since he's the one who asked you to help him out in the first place and got you mixed up in all of this insanity, maybe you should talk to him, as he must be feeling the worst about your situation right now from the entire group.
-[ ] Akira Fumiko: She might be a small, annoying child (who is as old as you), but she is very intelligent and could give you the most information on the place from everyone in the group.
-[ ] Hayashida Niko: The is a giant edgelord prick who threatened to kill you, but if you're going to be in the same team with him, you better burry the hatchet and don't let past actions affect the present, especially since teamwork would be necessary from now on.
-[ ] Arakawa Chuya: She seems like a very caring person, and she would probably be relieved to see you out of the infirmary. She might also be able to explain things to you or at the very least will be a nice company.
-[ ] Mae Hatsumomo: She was a bit too flirty with you the last time you saw her, but you still own her a sparring match, which could be very fun. At least as long as she doesn't flirt too much or is close enough to Akira to start an argument.

[ ] Search for Muhamed Abdul: The old man said that he left you with one of his apprentices to be your tutor for now, or at least until you master the basics. Maybe you should meet him and get to know him a little. You have some idea with where to start looking.

[ ] Meet with Joseph Joestar: You may not like the old man, but maybe this is a good time to catch up with him a little, ask him where your parents are, if he even knows. You know that he won't stay for long, probably not until the end of the day before he goes back to the British Kingdom. It might be now or never.

[ ] Walk around by yourself: You don't have to walk with someone to find out where things are. You can just take to the scenery and maybe you'll meet someone new who isn't a total pain in the ass.

[ ] Find a specific Location: Aside from the dorm where your room is and the infirmary, you don't know where things are right now, which building is which. You should probably fix that and start by finding a specific spot.
-[ ] Dining Hall: You don't know where everyone eats their meals, or if there is a place here where everyone eats together. What you do know is that you haven't eaten a proper meal for three days and you are starving. It would be best to find something to eat.
-[ ] Dawn Training Academy Building: You would rather find the academy today rather than just stumbling to find it tomorrow when you are in a hurry to reach there. It would take a lot of pressure of your shoulders now, which is always a good thing.
-[ ] Administration Building: You don't know much about that place aside from the fact that it is probably deals with all the bureaucracy. If you ever need something from there, you should know where to go to find it.
-[ ] Church: You're not a religious person, but maybe knowing where the church in this place is might be helpful if anyone ever asks you for its location. Plus it's intriguing as to how the descendants are making a sermon.

Well, this is the update. I don't know how much you'll like it, but please just write-in in plan format for the votes.

Hey, now we can meet new people. I would say Jojo should spend his time looking around for stuff. It might be a mistake to do no social, but they'll probably understand.

My paranoya for not being able to unlock loot is itching again. The thought of the QM dangling loot or side quest stuff but we can't access it because we can't lockpick doesn't sit well with me so i'm going with this.

On a side note my second preferred class would be computer study's just because it seems to provide us many opportunities.

Well, votes closed.

Right now irl I'm getting a new job in addition to the course that I'm doing, so from now on it's going to take a lot longer to write updates. Hope that you guys can be patient.

Getting to Know the Place Part 1

You decide upon taking the lockpicking class and you send the notification to the administration office. You then decide to get to know the place so that you don't get lost in it the next day. And also talk to that Muhamed Abdul guy the old man talked about. You do need someone to help you in this crazy situation, even if you don't want to admit it.

You leave the room and start inspecting the halls and the doors to the other rooms. They all look extremely high-tech on the outside, which is very weird considering that on the inside your room looks both traditional Japanese and high tech. But the hall is colored in white with several long lines of gold that are shaped like the waves of the sea. You don't get the mindset of this design, but this is another dimension that you know nothing about, so you don't really get a lot of things right now.

You go outside and look up, surprised to see that there isn't a sun in the sky, which are surprisingly are mostly blue like back on Earth, though there the shade of blue is definitely darker than in here. So are the water here blue as well? More questions for later. Now though? You have to find the dinning hall of this place, because you are starving and you need to eat.

As you walk around to see how buildings look like so that in the future it will be easier for you to find these places. The interesting thing that you notice is that in the area that you are walking in, the buildings were built in a Japanese architecture, and a very traditional style at that. You actually thought that there would be more diverse. You also feel like hours pass as you walk in the roads since you left your room and dorms.

[Rolling to find the Dinning Hall... 91 - Success!]

Eventually you actually start to see that there is more diversity now between the buildings, as you reach an area in which most buildings are now in a much different architecture than before. It's still Asian in culture, but you notice that it's more ancient Indian architecture of Central Asia rather than a more Far Eastern architecture of China and Japan.

After about 10 minutes or so of walking in the district around many people there, whom all look like are from a certain area of Asia themselves, you find a large building with massive columns on both sides on the 30 feet tall building. This definitely looks like some sort of Ancient Indian temple. You look at the letters on the door of the entrance of the massive building, which is written in a language that you are not familiar with.

After a few seconds something weird happens. The letters on the door starts to shift and change in appearance as they glow a bright white in color ad shine all over your eyes. After a few seconds the light disappears and you see that the letters on the door are now in Japanese and they say "Dinning Hall". Yare yare daze, this place is just getting weirder and weirder.

However, the door doesn't open. You can't really figure out why. You try to push it, but it won't budge, which makes it even more frustrating as you stomach growls loudly. Then there is a sudden flash of light, which forces you to cover your eyes for nearly 10 seconds until the lights finally die down. When it does, you open your eyes to see on the door more writings, this time these ones say: "Show Identity Card".

You simply sigh with an annoyed grunt as you take out your room key and on the right edge of it you press your right thumb against it for a few seconds. The black and white card then glows blue for a second before changing colors to a blue and yellow card, which somehow has a picture of you on it. Apparently they got this one from your school's student ID card. That is a pain as well. You then place the card against the door and you wait for a few moments. Then the door opens up and you take a deep breath as you place your card back into the pocket of your pants.

When you enter, you see that the place is already pretty full. It also looks rather nice with the Indian aesthetics, which also include small stone tables to put bowls of food on and comfortable mattresses to sit on. You walk towards where the food is served, and you notice that it works like a buffet in which everyone can take something by themselves.

You aren't really picky with your food, so you take several bowls of curry, rice and some meat until you have more than enough to eat. You sit by yourself with your food and take a pair of chop sticks and you start eating as much as you can. You look up from time to time and you notice that most of the people here are looking at you and whispering among themselves.

So news about you spread in this place fast, huh? Well whatever. They can whisper among themselves about you as much as they want, as long as they don't bother you at all. You are smart enough to know that you're not capable of beating most of the people there if they do, so you just have to tolerate them if someone decides to starts chatting with you. As long as the girls in this place don't start flocking you like a group of ravens for no good reason like the girls in your school.

[Someone comes to talk to Jotaro? Rolling 1d100 (1-24 no one / 25-49 one person / 50-75 two people or a small group / 75-100 large group of people)... 47 - One Person!]

"Hey, hey, hey there stranger." a jovial, happy voice calls out to you.

You swallow your food and take a deep breath. Goddammit. You look up to see that there is in fact a person heading towards you with his own bowl of food in his hands. He stands at about 1.72 meters tall, has a fair skin complexion and he has the appearance of a Japanese teenager, very similar to Ito. He has long auburn hair that reaches down his shoulders and a pair of ears that belong to a canine. He also has a very big and furry tail. Is he a Werewolf to?

You glare at him as he calmly sits down with a big grin on his face. He definitely looks like a positive person, which means his attitude could get annoying very quickly. "I'm Yumichika Jin. By the way, do you know what the fox says? I'll tell you, because I'm a Kitsune!" he tells you with a big smile and a lot of enthusiasm in his voice.

Yep, he's annoying. You simply glare at him for a few seconds.

"Why do you think I have either want or care to know?" you ask him as you look at him sternly, but he still doesn't let that smile fall from his face, which is surprising as most people would simply stop smiling at you by this point.

"Aw, come on. Be a pal. Smiling is always a good medicine. What's better than being around friends? You know, life of the party?" he asks you with an ever bright smile on his face, as your aggressive attitude doesn't manages to get to him one bit. "Doesn't that sounds like fun?" he asks you as he tries to be as friendly as he can, which is commendable.

"No." you answer very quickly as you just sigh and pinch the bridge of your nose. "Fine, you can sit with me while I'm eating, even though you are as annoying as the bratty cat girl." you tell him as you just want your peace and quiet, knowing that he will probably not leave you alone anyway, so you'll just have to humor him while you satisfy your own hunger.

After you finish talking, Yumichika's face lightens up as he grins jovially. "Oh, you're talking about Akira-san, right?" he asks, but he doesn't wait for you to answer as he starts rambling. "Yeah, my sister and I usually spend a lot of time trying to get her out of the library to hang out and go to some fun as heck parties, so we know that she can be a handful, especially when Ito-san is involved. She cannot keep her cool around him. That means that they would make a really good couple, don'tcha think?" he rambles on and one as you dig into your food trying not to roll your eyes in annoyance at his never-ending talking.

"No." you give him a short answer again, not even wanting to go into such an annoying and stupid subject. That isn't your business and you don't gossip.

He merely shrugs while keeping the smile on his face. "Hey, to each his own opinion. But think about it, everyone in the academy knows that she's head over heels for the guy. Just how hard is saying the words "I love you"? I seriously love the girl, but she is so stubborn when it comes to her love life. And my sister and I live off of pairing two people together, which is called shipping by the way, and is totally a healthy hobby." he continues to talk on and on as you keep quiet as you reluctantly listen to all his jabbering.

"I doubt that." you snark at him as you get up and go back to the buffet to pick up another rice bowl.

However, much to your displeasure, the Kitsune follows you around. "Oh right, I forgot that you are new here. You must have a million questions to ask, right?" he inquires with a big grin on his face. "Though my sister and I are kinda book dumb, I think I can maybe help you with a question or two." he tells you as you try to ignore him.

However, he does have a point. Maybe you could ask him something about this world? One question wouldn't really hurt.

[] Write-In one question you would like Yumichika Jin to answer for you.

[Rolling to find the Dawn Training Academy Building ... 67 - Success!]

After you finish eating and getting away from the talkative Kitsune, you decide to go and find the academy building. Since you don't want to be late tomorrow, you decide to spend as much time as possible to find this building.

You walk for what you think is hours across many roads as you look at the buildings around you. With the time passing by, you quickly notice that this dimension, or at least the part that is in charge of Asia, is filled with only three main Asian cultures of Ancient Indian, Chinese and Japanese. Of course you notice some building types that are neither of those three, but the main architecture of the buildings around you belong to these cultures. It's just another thing you'll have to find out about this place.

Eventually you spend enough time in the district that looks the most Chinese in culture and architecture until you find a large martial arts academy, or at least what you've seen in old books, in the edge of the district. You walk towards it with curiosity, guessing that that is the academy, but you are not too sure yourself.

When you finally stand in front of the building, you guess that you have walked for what feels like hours minutes to reach the location and it looks like a very, very large version of a fighting temple in the mountains of Tibet. You're surprised that you didn't noticed it sooner. Even better, it has the Chinese writings on the entrance of the building, which quickly changes into Japanese, allowing you to read it. Good, now you have to spend the next of the day finding the fastest paths from here to your dorm room.

[Someone comes to talk to Jotaro? Rolling 1d100 (1-24 no one / 25-49 one person / 50-75 two people or a small group / 75-100 large group of people)... 61 - Two People!]

"Good afternoon, Mr. Kujo." a sound of a person catches your ears as you slowly turn around to see two people clad in armor standing behind you. Their armor looks like light armor that its primary color is silver that is so light in color that it's closer to white than it is to grey, but it's still noticeable enough to tell that it's silver. There are also several golden lines across each plate of armor on their body. You also notice that the emblem on their chest plates is a golden sword engulfed in red fire and surrounded with two big golden wings.

You raise an eyebrow as you size them both up. From what you can see about their physical attributes, you can tell that they are both Nephelim as they have two large, white wings on their backs, though you can't tell what kind of bird wings they are. Also because of their helmets you can't really see all the features of their faces. "So I assume that you two are already knights and not trainees?" you inquire of them as you cross your arms in front of your chest.

One of them simply raises an eyebrow at you. Is he sizing you up as well? For what purpose? "Yes, we are." he says, and you can tell that the one speaking to you right now, who had a longer chin than the other and was a head taller, was the first one to address you a few seconds ago. "We are members of Squad 337 of Legion 1,218 under Daimyo Rashmit Amala. It's our legion's duty to patrol the entire city." he tells you as you listen carefully about what he's saying to understand more about how this organization works.

You keep your eyebrow raised. "You know I just got here, so I have no real idea what that means." you tell them with a snarky tone as you know that you are acting like a punk, but that's how you've always behaved and you don't really intend to change your attitude now.

The other knight of the two, the one who hasn't spoken yet scowls at you. "You would be wise to act towards those of superior rank with respect, trainee." he speaks with a whisper and a high-pitched voice that would have made almost anyone laugh. Sure, the guy isn't tall, but he's still intimidation with how serious and stern he looks.

You simply wave off his remark casually, not really caring about what he says, even if what he is saying is true. However, you do not get well with authority. Apparently not the best of traits in an organization that has the word "order" in it. Well, you'll just have to adjust.

The taller one of the two quickly tries to break the tension in the air. "I apologize for my partner's aggressive tone. However, he is right that respect between ranks is important in this organization." he tells you with a professional tone as you listen to him.

You continue to look at the two knights as you think to yourself for a few seconds. "Well," you start speaking to the two again as your tone becomes slightly softer, but not by much. "I will be a respectful listener if you'll be willing to tell me more about the organization." you tell them, trying to barter for information with good behavior.

This certainly seems to raise the taller one's interest enough to make him look at you with a perplexed expression for a few seconds, before chuckling to himself, much to the confusion of the other knight. "Fair enough. What is it that you want to know?" he asks you with a tone that shows that he is certainly willing to entertain you.

So you think of what you want to ask them. (Pick 2 Option)

[] What is the specific leadership structure of the Knights of Order organization?
[] What are the numbers of the forces of the order in this section that protects Asia?
[] What kind of missions do knights go to and how does it differ from trainee missions?
[] Who are the Daimyos and how powerful are they?
[] Write-In

Sorry that I'm gonna have to cut it here, but it took me way too long to write it and I had so much trouble. I hope that so far you've enjoyed Yumichika Jin, because I really enjoyed writing him. If I would have rolled above 50 then he would have been with his sister.

Anyway, know that I haven't abandoned the quest and I hope that you will continue to be a part of it.

Totally fine, and new people are always a joy after the prologue slog. Alright, so what do we ask kitsune lad, and why Asian architecture? Is that just a by-product of the location or do certain styles no longer exist? Was gothic architecture butterflied away being too difficult to repair in the face of magic, and what about Brutalism?

good work their mate, this quest has my interests at least since Jotoro will clearly be a badass person.

Anyhow here is my vote

[X] Ask Yumichika Jin about how one navigates this land... realm? Their be some map? some signs i'm missing on the street? Teleportation fields?
[X] What is the specific leadership structure of the Knights of Order organization?

Sorry for not being present for a while. New job and all the rest of my stuff makes me really tired. Anyway, votes are closed and I'll try to work on the update this weekend.

Sorry, forgot about this. Rolling 1d2 for the second question choice pick: 1 - [X] Who are the Daimyos and how powerful are they? 2 - [X] What kind of missions do knights go to and how does it differ from trainee missions?

Rolling . . . 2

Getting to Know the Place Part 2
[X] Ask Yumichika Jin about how one navigates this land... realm? Their be some map? some signs i'm missing on the street? Teleportation fields?

You squint your eyes as you think about his little offer. You agree that the best thing is to probably ask him a question about the place, most specifically how to get from area to another. You had to walk a lot to reach the dinning hall, so it's for the best to learn how to mobilize here.

You sigh for a bit before finally asking the question in your mind. "Alright then, Yumichika Jin, I'll bit your bait." you tell him, making him perk up and his ears twitch as his grin grows even wider, which you couldn't think was possible a second ago. "How does one navigate throughout this... land? Realm? Place, I'll just call it place. I'm asking because I didn't see automobiles while walking around." you start asking your question, but when you see him opening his mouth and inhales a lot of air, you raise your hand to stop him.

"I wasn't finished asking. Is there some sort of map to use? Some signs I'm missing on the streets, which I haven't even found the names of? Are there any sort of teleportation fields around to make a journey quicker?" you continue to ask him and you look into his eyes and you see that he both fully understands what you're asking him and he has an answer for you.

You lower your hand and the fox boy takes in a large amount of air once again, which makes you roll your eyes in annoyance, before he finally answers. "Well there are plenty of ways travel around here. Except cars. The order basically taught the people of Earth how to engineer a car because it was something that in their eyes didn't really was necessary here." he started answering you as you take in the information.

He then lifts his right index finger up. "First of all, about the map. You need to read the Instruction Manual app, because after you finish reading it, all the other apps would be opened up, including the map app. It allows you to see your location in the city, how to get to a desired destination and how long it would take." he informs you as you simply nod your head. "Though, I wouldn't really recommend walking or running if you want to get from one place to another." he advises you as his tone is still happy, but less jovial.

This advice intrigues you to the point that you raise an eyebrow when you look at him. "And why is that?" you ask him.

He then chuckles sheepishly as he scratches his chin. "Well... if you do, then it would take you hours to get from place to place. Usually it takes 3 and a half to 4 hours to get from the dorms in the Japanese Sector to the academy, so it's easy be late if you do that." he tells you while awkwardly continuing to chuckle as a bead of sweat rolls from his brow.

"That long? Seriously?" you ask him calmly as you keep glaring him with a raised eyebrow.

He then waves his hand trying to appear nonchalant as he answers your question. "Yeah, it does sound a lot. Though it usually isn't such a big problem since the days here are so long. The only problem is being late." he keeps on explaining as you catch more and more information.

It also gets you more and more interested in some of the things that he says. "And how long is a day here in comparison to Earth?" you ask him, trying to get a better grasp of this dimension.

Yumichika waits for a few seconds as his grin turns smaller and smaller and he gulps. "Well, compared to Earth, where a fully day is 24 hours, here a day is 72 hours, which is about three days on Earth." he informs you with a bit of concern in his voice, for the first time not smiling anymore.

Wait, what? 72 hours is a single day here? So were you asleep 3 days or 6 days?

You raise your eyebrow again, trying to keep your composure despite what you just heard. "One day is 72 hours? How does that even work?" you ask him as now this conversation got a whole lot interesting for you.

Yumichika simply chuckles nervously as he looks at you. "We manage. We spend about 12 hours in the academy, then the rest of the day we spend by either training, studying, spending some time on our hobbies or spend some time with friends. That can last for a long while, especially if you train a lot. Dinner is around hour 42 and by hour 46 is total darkness. Around that time it's the time for partying, which my sister and I do all the time. Eventually we go to sleep before hour 56, because you need at least 18 hours of sleep to get all the energy for an entire day." he explains to you a little bit about how much time is used for times of the day and you take all of that into your mind.

After you finish listening, you start asking questions again. "So how do I teleport? Are there devices in some points in the districts that allow me to teleport? you ask, just trying to figure out how the hell are you going to handle the whole teleportation thing.

This makes the teenager perk up and smile widely once again. "Well, since you just basically got a room, the administration is already... probably... most likely sent a team of technicians to install a teleportation pot in your room. By the time you get back, you might already have one." he tells you as he is now seemingly more relaxed around you.

You sigh as you get up and pick up the bowls of food that you ate. "Well, thank you for all that information, Yumichika Jin." you turn around and start walking away, only to stop and turn your head to him. "By the way, my name is Kujo Jotaro. Don't forget that." you tell him as you turn your head back and walk away.

"Don't worry, I won't!" he tells you with enthusiasm in your voice. You might have made a big mistake.

Met Yumichika Jin.

You look at the two knights with inquiring eyes as you immediately have a question popping into your mind. "What is the specific of the structure of the leadership of The Knights of Order organization?" you ask them both as you patiently wait for an answer.

"Ha." the taller knight says as you squint at him and frown for a second, as if the question seemed to be obvious. Well...it perhaps must be the most obvious question to ask about an organization that you're joining. "That one is rather one of the most simpler structures of the organization." he starts explaining as you see the other knight glancing aside in annoyance. "The leader of the headquarters is the Shogun, the grand general of the entire army of this headquarters." he keeps on explaining as you just not.

The shorter of the two sighs before the explanation continues. "Beneath the Shogun we have the Daimyos, whom are not really feudal lord mind you, whom lead the many legions of knights that we have here. And believe me, there are thousands upon thousands of knights and trainees." he tells you while you look stoically and nod.

"And is that it? How does this leadership function?" you ask the knight.

The man looks at you with a bit of a perplexed expression on his face for a few seconds, only for the shorter one of the two to be the one to answer. "He doesn't really understand that he doesn't make things all too clear." he says while pointing at his talkative partner. "The leaders work as a form of a council. They discuss a lot of things that I don't know about, alongside advisors from the administration office. There, happy?" he tells you with a bit of a rude and impatient tone to his voice, but you don't really give a damn about that. You can live with a little bit of disrespect.

You cross your arms in front of your chest and keep you expression calm and collected. "Since I'm a trainee, I would like to know what kind of missions do knights go to compared to the academy trainees and how do you differentiate a knight mission and a trainee mission?" you ask the two knights and you once again patiently for an answer.

The shorter one sighs again. "Look, it plenty simple. Both knights and trainees share most of the type of missions that we do, but we usually have scouts whom send information to the department that makes the job orders in order to assess the danger level. The knight missions have star marks on them while trainee missions don't. Also the danger and difficulty of a mission has English letters and numbers from 1 to 5 to determine difficulty." the man explains to you as you simply nod to as you take in the information.

Then the taller one chimes in again. "Yeah, what he said. For example, trainees only get missions that goes to from difficult rank of E-1 up to E-5. Anything above that will require to either have an official knight to accompany the trainees or for the trainees to be knights themselves." the other one finished explaining as well, which was now much clearer to you.

You simply nod. "Thank you for the information. Now I believe you have a job to do." you thank them as you turn and walk away, trying to look for other ways to get to your dorms, now that you knew that you had many hours to do so.

After a lot of long hours, you finally reach your dorms once again. You feel tired and you really want to get some rest. It seems that you are really going to take a lot of time to get used to the fact that you'll be most likely have to stay awake for nearly 48 hours or more in a row from now on.

However, when you reach to where the door to your room is, you see a man with dark skin and wearing robes, as well as a very large golden chain around his neck. He looks at you as he leans against the wall and smirks. "Good to finally meet you, Mister Kujo." he tells you in Japanese, which is surprising for a man from the Middle East.

You squint your eyes as you glare at him. "You must be the tutor the old man gave me." you inquire as your expression doesn't reveal much of your emotions. "Muhammad Avdol." you say his name with a bit with sourness to your voice, which is mostly directed at your old man.

He smirks as he raises his index finger to the height of his nose, right in front of his face. "Yes, I am!" he says as he makes a jovial slash motion with his finger, which doesn't really amuse you at the slightest.

"So what do you want? I'm tired and I would rather go and rest right now." you ask him with an unamused tone as you simply glare at him.

The man chuckles as he gives you a thumbs up, before quickly lowering it down and back up again. "Tsk tsk tsk tsk. I just wanted to meet Sir Joestar's grandson and assess him. After all, I am here to assist you to advance up in skill to your contemporaries with the usage of the knowledge given by the academy. we can't have you lagging behind by so much." he tells you while he kept on that smug smirk on his face, which was a bit annoying to look at.

"Well, you've met him." you tell him as you take out your card and use it to open the door to your room. "Now, if you'd be so generous, I would like you to leave me be until I've rested." you tell him as he simply nods and keep smirking.

"As you wish, Mister Kujo. However, know that if you desire assistance, you can always ask for my aid." he tells you nod with understanding of his request as the door closes between you two.

Met Muhammad Avdol.
Training with Muhammad Avdol is now available in the training section.

Well, I know this took a long fucking while. I hope it was satisfying enough for you guys. No vote today, so you would have wait for the next update. Right now I just want to see some of your reactions to things that I revealed in this update.

I know the Muhammad Avdol scene was very short, but I really liked it nonetheless. Stay happy and stay healthy.

And now for something fun.

Never watched Boondock Saints, but the link was fun.

Also, Jojo interrupted Fox-Lad. A nearly unforgivable crime with not for the fact the other guy doesn't care. Also, fairly sure the dimension shifts on it's own, so that's why walking is I'll advised. We should walk around anyway if only to practice for when we fight the King in Yellow from the Dreamlands or the Shadow Realm. :D

so dam, it's been a while since I've last seen Jojo content after part 5 that I forgot how much of a punk Jotaro was during stardust crusaders. Always remembered the cool parts of his character but forgot his flaws.

Anywho, great work here mate. A bit surprised that a whole day is 72 hours and we'll be spending a whopping 12 hours in school. that's pretty much half a normal day for Jotaro which sucksssss.

also was wondering, Since the day is so long do you plan on separating the plan for what to do during school time and what we do after?
