it's gonna be a while, just a warning. I have a LOT of writing to do, I may not even finish it tonight. I literally just finished writing out GE trait descriptions for your datasheet.

[CONCERN]

EDIT- also, I misread one of the things in that last vote. The refund on the pod discount was rounded up, right? So an inverted calculation like I did, multiply the total points by 0.65, should have rounded DOWN.

We have one point left.

... Oops? Oh well.

Assuming higher is better that's a pretty good set of rolls.

hmmm, I hope we got six arms, seriosuly, all of my want is on six arms.

If we did not get six arms I will wage a crusade to go full transasari and proceed to bring six arms to become top cybernetic fashion.

Well, like I said, I have no idea what metric you were going by. It's just fun to react dramatically to stuff. Particularly when excited.

    Fire and fury are both too aggressive sounding for me, considering we chose the "unite the galaxy" mission statement. Denial... maybe goes too far in the opposite direction?

    I dunno. Those are my thoughts right now. Might be completely off-base.

    EDIT- approval voting of Denial as well anyway, after reading an insightful comment further down.

    I'm sad we didn't get extra limbs but happy our blue space squid people probably got squid multicolor shapeshift power.

    Also, we are so outdoing astartes, like, we're what astartes wish they could be.

    Asari have lost a great many things. They've seen millenia of toil and advancement thrown into the endless knight. It only makes sense that a culturl chip-n-the-shoulder would be there.

    There's nothing left to defy, the Reapers have gone into Dark Space, they lost, but they also live. They have thousands of years to pick up the pieces and figure out how to not make the same mistakes twice. For now, the fight's over.

    Edit: Well if these things can even be considered Asari after being juiced up this much.
    Edit2: Will also mix my vote because I didn't think we could do that.

    Well, 40k astartes can't do the squid power cammo thing naturally, no. But then, we can't eat brains to learn what that brain knew, either.

    I was more referring to the "ALL THE GENE MODS" setup, combined with what is probably a giganticism trait and a "Mortis gland", which is itself awfully close to the 40k "immortis gland".

    Slight differences/in the specifics aside (we can breed, for one, and the mods are inheritable), we are almost literally off-brand astartes. Note that off-brand is referring to asari and Mass Effect, rather than some implication we are better or worse comparatively.

    I mean, with our outside literal volcanoes or literal outer space and fashion what use for us is clothes outside combat? Like, at this rate the point clothes and armor becomes actually useful probably starts at small metal gear/gundams.

    Of course fashion is important but... there's no reason for stealth combatants, spies, etc to really clothe themselves now is there?

    I mean, we do it too, just by closeness rather than eating people and it is a bit more intimate and we can do it without killing the other person.

    Yeah, we're everything astartes wish they could be.

    I'm not actually trying to compare us to 40k, exactly. I just... suddenly understand why this happened while rolling for random side-effects:

    Like, it's one thing to say "yeah, we're astartes but worse/better, and also aliens", but it is an entirely different story when you got to that point accidentally.
