[x] Something about your childhood

Flotsam sounds like a dawn caste to me. Also I like Rika already (because she's a twilight caste, I'm not biased)

I mean, she's blatantly putting the moves on someone (she thinks) is dependent on her for her life, from what the others are saying this isn't the first time either.

I wonder what happened to her *past* lovers.

Dunno how I missed that it was outright stated that Rika is a Twilight. Oh well, this is why I ask.

You don't shrug her off — if she's thinking about bedding you, she's not questioning your story. You don't particularly enjoy being handled this way by a near stranger, though, especially not by such a dangerous Anathema. She is a Twilight Caste sorcerer capable of creating horrors and wonders as easily as someone else might sew a shirt. One of the Unclean, who had featured as villains in many of the morality tales that the monks had told you growing up.
Grace reflects on it in this one paragraph here.

I love these trashfire Anathema, but more than that I love the ways that Grace's admonishments read as a bit... hypocritical. I enjoy how she's talking about how foolhardy and arrogant these Anathema are being by trapsing about the Blessed Isle, surrounded by Dragon-Blooded on all sides...

...while's she's literally walking in the middle of a circle of Solar Anathema.

At best you're looking at something like "whisked away by a Solar on a whirlwind romance, then dumped and abandoned on an island far from home with not a penny to their name, no way back, and a new reputation as someone who consorts with Anathema."

At worst, uh... having run a game for a Twilight, I don't even want to theorize @_@

She seems a bit irresponsible, not to mention cloyingly sweet.

I think that all her past lovers were Grace. She said in the first chapter that she had been working with them for eight years and only met them in this form right now. She probably found ways to slip away or beg off leaving the area she met them in.
That would be a wild twist, but Grace's employers are different people from these four Solars, who have only met her recently. I can see how my phrasing was unclear in a way that I didn't intend, sorry about that.

I'm sure the fact that she doesn't have a small army group following her around made up of her previous lovers doesn't have any implications for what she does when she gets bored of her latest fling.

Tbh I'd be harsher than 'irresponsible'. :V

Singular Grace exalted as a Sidereal and joined the bureaucracy of heaven 8 years ago, during The Last Daughter. she has since then served in a number of roles and donned quite a few manifest destinies in service to both the BoH and the Bronze faction. Her general awareness of these particular Solar's likely measures months at most and direct contact a shorter period.

I legitimately think my phrasing was ambiguous in a way I didn't parse while I was writing it, unfortunately, knowing the previous quest is not intended to have been required to read that line correctly. I have edited the line in question.

I really enjoyed your depiction of a "standard" Solar circle from Grace's perspective.

[X] Something about your work life

I really want to hear Grace vagueposting abt her worklife.

[X] Something about your childhood

This is gonna be either another embarrassing anecdote or another somber reflection on the true twistedness of her relationship with dynasts from the pov of those who serve them, either way, win-win for me

[X] Something about your childhood
I want to know more about that , we will have plenty of opportunities to see Grace at work as this quest unfolds.
