Now that I look at the map, if I have the added New York and New York City VPs, that means I have...(2642 + 1723) Over 4000 starting victory points? Hot damn.

I don't think we should convert to real money. Just utilization of VP as currency, no? It makes it easier to compare and count up and estimate costs for specific use.

I was thinking the same.
I suppose I'll let you keep it. You can keep western Long Island and far south NYS, as well as a chunk of Trenton. Maybe a tiny bit of far western Connecticut. VP would be... say, 2000 instead.

OK well does 459 vp cover the expenses I have with my Military since have more hardware and Naval assets to some of the others.
You wouldn't have to pay as much for mantinence, as it's already owned by you, and not newly built. All of your navy would probably be 175 VP in expenses.

Yeah, you can vassalize areas or annex small pieces of territory by purchasing them.

Yeah, but I doubt Miami would become your vassal... more like the opposite, to be honest.

So as Chicago, I would have 3,203 VP? What does that translate to in money?
My updated map had nerfed Chicago considerably, down to 1,950.
You may have more immediate VPs, but Miami has complete dominance over southern Florida and the exit to the G.o.M.
