You know if we do the pod it's going to get blamed for the personality changes, right?

[X] leave him be, it's not worth the risk to heal him.

[4] Give him a Pod.
- Vlad, Shard, Newageofpower, Dimennsionist

[3] leave him be, it's not worth the risk to heal him.
- Wingedone, kelenas, Zoxabels

[1] He knew the risks entering this ring, sad as it is for the young to die, it is not the concern of the Shapers.
- Asmodemus

[1] Give him a Pod.
-[X] If asked, imply that you purchased it and don't wish to reveal sources
- Veekie,

The vote is not closed.

[X] Get him moved gently into a room for where you to to perform your healing. When no one is watching give him a pod and be done with it.

Since it seems pods have won, it's time to hire bodyguards, get our place like a fortress, etc. Change priority from research to defense against assassination, theft, etc.

We might get lucky and Leoric has Sindri spout some lies about the origin of the pod, or otherwise interpret the vote smartly. But otherwise, yeah; we'll probably going to have to increase the number of creatures we have guarding our little island. Though that's probably going to happen anyway simply as a byproduct of us using them to expand our facilities.

I think this has happened more than once already. You may want to check the auto count.

... Hm.

Why not. I'll take a shot at it.

[X] Give him a Pod.

Healing pods are a miraculous invention, one that helped cement Shaper power in some ways that even your endless armies could not. They are also not subtle, the healing fluids within sparkling and gleaming dimly, a reminder in some ways that they share an origin with the healing pools that your sect are so fond of.

Which is why a murmur goes through the crowd as you open the one you were carrying with you in your satchel, the emerald light softly flowing from within catching the eyes of those close enough to see and making several of them shift and mutter amongst each other where they stand. Even the Westerosi warrior becomes interested, the man refocusing his attention towards you as you begin your treatment, his face a frown as he studies you as you apply it to the wounded Braavosi.

Of course, your own attention is not on him or those around you, but instead on the Braavosi himself, your hand remaining upon his throat as you watch the effect of the pod take hold, the swelling and bleeding across his brain lessening almost as soon as you apply the pod, though you still note that it does not remove every sign of the damage he took. A fact that you judge will ensure that the man will remain unconscious for a while - which is probably for the best all things considered since it gives you time to speak to the Westerosi instead.

Said Westerosi greeting you without looking away from the Braavosi as you move towards him - though his words leave something to be desired.

"So, will the slippery bastard live?"

You give a brief nod in response as you reply. "Yes, I have treated the worst effect of the blow you delivered - though it is unlikely that he will wake up for some time."

The Westerosi merely grunts and spits at the man from where he sits before speaking. "Pity, slippery fuck is an arrogant ass that would have had it coming." He continues to watch the man for a moment before giving a short laugh and a shrug of his shoulders before speaking again. "Ah well, still got to beat the daylight out of him, even if he got in a few blows of his own, the rotten taffer." He winces as he says this, his hands once more pressing gently where the man hit him.

"So, who are you then, some kind of healer or priest?"

"My people hold to no gods Westerosi, so the former is the most apt." And here it is your turn to shrug. "Though I am more of a scholar then a dedicated healer - from a discussion I had with one of your countrymen I understand that the best description for what I am would be to say that I am from an order similar to the Maester's of your Oldtown."

Here the Westerosi gives you a new, measuring look, taking in your clothes and everything else about you before replying. "A learned man then - which makes me wonder what you want with me." As he finishes speaking he reaches out with his hand towards you, leaving it in the universal handshake gesture. "Names William by the by, William Waters. Some of my peers call me 'Scar' on account of the eye."

How do you respond?

[X] Shake his hand and introduce yourself as the new lighthouse keeper, Shaper Sindri.
[X] "Would you perhaps be interested in taking on a apprentice?"
