Might be a good idea to include in the description in the Production document.

No; they're basically like potions from other fantasy RPGs.
No.
Would need more then you have - Fadlan can sell 100 points worth of anything on the list through his contacts for more than five thousand marks. Or use it himself for his own needs depending on the item.
Those would be 500DVP for 50.How much time would it cost to make 50 jars of dye, salve or weapon oil? As far as "harmless" exports go, I think those are the safe options.
Whoops, changing vote.
That is true. Even so, if that smuggler ends up selling a large amount of a product only we could have possibly produced, it's kind of a giveaway that we've had dealings with him.Ultimately I don't think it matters too much overall, since we're likely going to get a fair bit of attention either way.
We've sold salves through her.Actually... refresh my memory, please, have we sold healing pods through Givanni already? If yes, how high a payoff did we get from that? I'm kinda wondering if perhaps we might have missed an obvious possibility for another middleman for our wares this entire time. Did we ever promise Givanni exclusivity?
Yes, that's how I remembered it. Thanks. We only ever sold healing *salve*, which is good for minor stuff (cuts, bruises), but little more. Essentially a novelty. As such, it didn't get much attention.
As for Dye vs. Pods; Dye is more time-efficient overall (500 DVP vs 600 DVP), but the healing pods might make more of a long-term impact, in making Fadlan interested in maintaining good business relations with us. As such, I feel it's worth the minor inefficiency in this case.
Why do you guys want to sell healing pods anyway? We have plenty of other options that are just as potentially profitable and don't require us to sell something so obviously magical.I'd rather go with Haze, the thing about haze is that it's just a narcotic, in the future healing pods will become linked to us. Do we want to have this pirate linked to us like that?
Having a pirate/smuggler amongst our contacts could be rather useful down the line; if nothing else, it means that the Givanni won't have a monopoly on us, so to speak. And Fadlan should be both clever enough to start thinking what other things we might be able to do, and with some research might also uncover our participation in the events in Astapor that ended up with that nice, eerie volcano.Do we want long term impact? Truth be told, I'd rather not have people realize how much money they could make if they had us working for them full time. Kinda having second thoughts about having pirate-guy as a middleman, actually... on the other hand he's probably not stupid enough to pick a fight with thegoosepotentially quite dangerous sorcerer that lays golden eggs, merely for the possibility of bigger golden eggs. Sindri's excessive eeriness actually works in his favor there.
That would be one potential avenue to investigate, yes.Hmm... I wonder if we could automate dye production into something that could be done entirely with creature dice? If we manage that, we'd probably be stinking rich before long.
In this particular instance, it's more that at first glance the Healing Pods were one of the most time-effective means of paying him.Why do you guys want to sell healing pods anyway? But aren't the dyes more cost-effective? Sure they're less, but 50 are only 500DVP, compared to the 10 for 600DVP for pods.In this particular instance, it's more that at first glance the Healing Pods were one of the most time-effective means of paying him.
