I say this mainly because Elena doesn't have that speed in terms of zombifying people.

If she can zombify you with a touch like this, it'd have definitely been included as an extra bullshit mechanic to her in her fight.

But she doesn't have that mechanic. She just take HP away from you and add it to herself.

Seriously. We are literally worrying over a made up problem. That has next to 0 connection with what we were discussing about.

If it's worries that Giano's blood would make it easy for Elena to follow us, then I understand. But ZOMBIFICATION WITH A TOUCH?

I will note that the zombies are, as best as I understand it, corpses that Elena animates with Bloodfiend voodoo of some sort. With Giano being alive and mostly unharmed beyond that small wound, she is in no danger of dying anytime soon unless Elena helps it along.

Confirmation is good to have!

Ok, that makes leaving Rose alone with Giano less dangerous.

So, do you think we should help Parvati to reach the rank of eight chefs after this? :V
Absolutely. I expect her to reach the peak after *Timeline Change* a lot.
Maybe Ciel just has a type. Instead of women that could kick their ass, it is women who would literally eat them :V

It's a really stupid idea, but after that meme and previous comments I'm genuinely curious about how the approach of Ciel being a daring idiot and just inviting Elena of all people to a date-style dinner might turn out.

Either she laughs at Ciel and kills him, or her brain reboots for a moment due to the absurdity of the situation, because I'm sure she'd expect anything but that to come out of a Fixer's mouth.

@Naron on a serious note, how stupid would a plan like that be and how likely would it be to get a positive reaction that I didn't kill them all? I feel like we could very well get a huge punishment just for trying something like that, like the time the Hugger Bear thing happened.

On the other hand, if Ciel were to succeed in that way, he would suddenly have at the very least a legend and a very good story to tell. Because imagine if the solution to not dying was to flirt with the monster.
It's so ridiculous you'd almost think it was something that could only happen in the City.

I honestly can not tell without thinking about it some more, and I will definitely not say how Elena might react. Ciel's view on this is that they are terrified of the vampire woman who can probably kill them without breaking a sweat. No time to consider how flirting would turn out.

Overall though, this is a Bard / 10 line of thought you have there.

To be honest it reminds me a lot of those rare (but memorable) cases in D&D campaigns where actually flirting with the monster works haha.

Pack Glibness (+20 to bluff to convince other you are telling the truth), be the party face with max charisma, bluff that you want to date the nearest troll, watch as it get embarrassed. :V

Then again, D&D parties are also susceptible to things like *the head of Vecna* (read it, it is hilarious) so I'm not sure taking them as examples is a good idea. :V

So you telling me that Vecna has the best head.

City Gods, I'm going to vote for it just to see if it works out.

[X] Flirt with Elena, invite her to dinner in District 23 in exchange for her letting them go. Maybe that will throw her off balance. It's a gamble but it could work. If she accepts, go through with the deal. If it looks like she's going to refuse; Throw gun at Elena. Pick up Giano. Grab Rosa. Use the Galeforce ring and the T-Corp device to get out of there.

Ahem. Ten words at most. I may have allowed something slightly longer earlier, but this is too long.

Could it work that way?

Still too long, you would have to cut the entire "If" statement. And as an aside, Ciel has no gun.

Well, in the unlikely event that this wins and works... I will truly believe in the providence of the Prescript, I don't even want to think about how this will screw up the timeline, if at all.

If it doesn't work, I at least trust that Ciel knows how to improvise the escape. The reaction at least could be hilarious.

Seriously, I don't think anything less like a move like that could not be the work of the Will of the City.

"Wait, you're telling me... you're telling me you passed the test with our Association by flirting with your enemy?"

"Well, the test only said that I couldn't hire people to help me..."

"You're crazy."

"I want to be a Color."

"You're crazy."

Yep indeed but if a mariachi syndicate can work in the city and actually be a credible threat......... well
When sanity fails, go cuckoo

...If Ciel's timeline hopping was(?) canon to the Quest, would that make him some kind of abnormality?

To the people who forgot to vote, you should probably vote before Naron ends it.

It seems Ciel narrowly decides to try being a hero.
