A new gang arives in gotham! (Dc comics riot quest)

"Alright, so how we gonna rob that store? Loud, Silent, or Distraction."

OOC: I'm a assume we'll be wearing masks.

[]Plan Loud (OOC: Daytime, so high chance of cops.)
-Go in, knock out register person, take mons, get out, and away from crime scene.

[] Plan Silent(OOC: Usually not the best plan cause they count the money and put it into a safe, at least that's what I think from a few shows and movies I've seen. Also, high chance of Bats)
- Disable security cameras
-Nightly breaking and entering.
-Search for safe, Find safe, Break into safe, or just take the damn thing if it's not bolted down.
-Escape with money.

[]Plan Distraction(OOC: Another daytime plan just sneakier, needs a really good roll for showmanship.)
-Distraction
-Hack into security cameras near the area so that evidence is erased.
-Lockpicker or Computer hacker if they got one of those fancy electronic passcode locks. If too many fail rolls, kick it down.
-Sneak in, take mons from register, sneak out. If it goes loud just grab things as quickly as possible.
-Make getaway.

OOC: Made multiple plans. Layed it down on table. Been a fan of media, so knows this much at least.

Name: Dedric Cotton
Gender: Male
Appearance: Average looks, Slightly muscular build. Black hair. Oddly, with a pair of Purple Eyes(only special thing about his looks really)
Skills: 7th Dan Karate
Resources: Swiss army knife and an old house.
Personality: Slightly childish(laugh at dad jokes), is capable of being serious.
Backstory: Was brought into crime by his Uncle Wells.
Reason for joining the gang: He didn't want "The Man" to tell him what he can and can't do. He'll beat up people if he wants to, Take what he wants too, and being himself. Understands the pack mentality.

About batman and luck
OCC: I will link it, unlike the game. It takes time to do this kind stuff. But here.

Sure. I'll allow it.

About batman. Since your small time crooks (and i want a senseable difficulty curve) there's very little chance of batman interfering early on unless you cause an explosion or some other massive incident. Though if you kill an innocent expect batman to find you. As you become more successful batman will probably be more likely to notice you.

Thankfully going to jail ain't the end as the cardboard prison trope is in full effect.

Btw I'm mostly sure i won't use randomisers but instead I'll just think through the situation and write what would happen.

Also sometimes I'll be lend a bit of good or bad luck on your jobs for the sake of making things interesting.

How I'm handling the quest.

Approved

OOC: Are stats a thing, @Ameraaaaaa? Would we have a modifier based on what we're good at. Like for Dedric, he'd most likely have a combat modifier due to his skill in Karate.
I'm handling this freeform. So say dedric was fighting a normal man with a pipe. Dedric with kick his ass easy as pie. A man with a gun on the otherhand...

So basically I'm handling this all by thinking through the scenario and potential outcomes.

"So the plan so far is:
1. Ademar and I will go to see the store to rob us and the area
2. then the guy who knows how to hack and computers will get into the system and help us as he can, removing the cameras, the systems if he has and others
3. Outside a distraction will be created, a possible idea is that the magician does his art to distract a little and then someone pretends to fight with him
4. the others enter the store and take everything that may seem valuable (besides money)
5. the driver (s) wait outside with the car ready to flee (I am willing to be the driver but if someone who is better offers ...)
6. Once we escape, those who know more about business will be in charge of selling the liquor as the most expensive liquor ... always making sure that it cannot be traced back to us.

things we have to keep in mind:
1. let's try not to do anything that attracts the attention of batman, we will be just one gang plus anyone who robs a small store
2. let's try to do it as quickly as possible

So .. did I understand everything right? .. sorry for not remembering names, I'm bad with names"

name: Daniel Hartman
gender: male
Skills: MMA, basic knowledge of the human body, world geography, slight knowledge of psychology, slight knowledge of programming, slight knowledge of animal biology
resources: An old house, an old car and an old computer

2. let's try to do it as quickly as possible
"If you want me in there systems that might take a bit. I do have an idea tho. If the place has a computer, I could send some malware when our folks are in there. If someone mainly stealing stuff, maybe someone can get me in that way for the more personal systems. Its just an idea, so if it mess with the plan we can avoid it. " Alexander offers, while messing with his current pair of goggles.

A man with a gun on the otherhand...
OOC: If Dedric was self aware.
Dedric: I'd still kick his ass! How dare that guy.

OOC: Real talk though if people can escape being shot by Ducking, Dodging, Zig Zagging, Finding convenient cover, and going towards your attacker. Pretty sure he could pull it off. Though that's based on luck of the dice. And I've been feeling lucky lately.

True. I was imagining not much stuff in the way. But if you could find cover or some other similar advantage then you might win in that scenario as well. Context matters a lot.

Also just clarifying is this a liquor store? I think so by the talk of alcohol selling.

mmmm, it depends on what we see when we do the exploration "

Changes to how death works
OOC: I totally forgot. @Ameraaaaaa, do we have a life bar or chance bar. Either or. Reason I ask is cause it would be pretty sad for a thought out character to just up and die.
True. What about this. Each of you have plot armor. So say you got shot by an officer. You're gonna survive and after the job succeeds or fails or whatever I'll fast forward to after you get out of jail and the injury will be fully healed.

But this doesn't guarantee the job is a success. Just that your characters survive.

1 more extreme examples.

You are the centre of a massive explosion. You enter a coma and once everyone else escapes we fast forward to you waking up.

So think of yourselfs as a new batman villain. You might get beat up. But you'll survive. Even if you seem dead in the moment.

can we improve (acquire new skills, gain powers, train, etc)?

and be taught by other members?

Sure. But 1st you have to tell me how your doing it then i decide how the improvement... well improves. So be sure to be clear and communicive.
would it be in our action?
something like that for example
action write it: ask if daedric wants to do practice fights and at the end of each fight tell us our mistakes?

or: train by doing push-ups, squats, lifting weights (what you can lift), running in the warehouse

ps: could the current action be changed?

Clarifications
OOC: So, how many chances do we have? We can't survive all the time. We're still human.

Is this based on a 1d100?
To the 1st question why not. How many times has batman or black canary survived lethal situations. I should of been clear earlier I'm using some comic logic as well as regular logic. Through the comic logic only extends to plot armor a cardboard jails. Most other stuff abide by real world logic. I hope i strike a good balance between the 2.

And I'm not using dice at all.

Yes. Your actions determine how you improve. Working out is different from martial arts training afterall.
