Its Argentina what can they do.

Give our rivals easy access to a mainland port. Keep us from getting a true alliance with that part of the world. Also don't assume they aren't capable of hurting us. They are not a great power for no reason after all. The economy might be in a downswing but they were growing at a faster rate than we were before that.

I honestly think spreeing the unaligned South America countries would be a good way to have some insurance against Argentine just in case.

Argentina is not our enemy or even a Rival. They are our neighbors we want as many of our Neighbors on our side as we can.

well looks like the votes are pretty much in favor of alloy and alliances.

edit: with the alloys I'm looking forward to seeing what they can be used for, such as armor and getting the infrastructure goods.

getting rail-ways and housing to good would be a godsend...especially if we can get both those to excellent.

Rolling is in the Rolz room.

good to know, also most of those have a 10 or 15 required roll...lets see what happens soon enough!

good luck fellow questers! and if Murphy says that anything that can go right, will go right, at the exact right time? Then awesome!!!

that we shouldn't try to harness the power of the sun?

also next turn again lets get fusion warheads and double down on the said fusion tech, as well as try again with fusion reactors.

our best roll was X-com integration...

Well we can probably try again either this coming turn or the turn after that one.

We should be able to it wasn't a major failure so at worst locked out for one turn.

I swear it's always the fusion actions that fail. Are the dice gods trying to tell us something?

They are just being difficult. They want us to struggle to get our our fancy tech. That or they just really think we will blow ourselves up if we get to much fusion tech.

So the nuclear spacecraft one will probably fail with something along the lines of "didn't allocate enough for alien alloys in the budget" or "can't make nuclear spacecraft without the spacecraft"

Or better yet, "computer crashed and backups failed -- start from scratch"

our highest roll was a 67,after that a 49.... kind of disapointing on the rolls but not crit failures at least though probably only 500 from oil trade, these low trade rolls are hurting us. Still only one failure is solid

Or someone siphoned money from the project and then fled to somewhere that does not have a extradition treatie with us.

Or maybe the project head's daughter installed ransom-ware on the file server.

So literally anywhere outside of North America and Australia?

If you are talking about literal F=m*a acceleration you are really asking how fast you want the shots to go and how long the barrel of the gun is. Projectile speed gives you the kinetic energy which is imparted by the magnets doing work on the bullet. Work is force multiplied by distance. So 0.5*m*v^2=m*a*d. Rearranging you get acceleration = (0.5*velocity^2)/(barrel length).
