Let others worry about the Governor. We need to make sure the situation out here doesn't degenerate totally.

we came here to pacify the area, lets pacify the area
[X] Make for the Keep immediately, if Rowena really is dead you have to try and help the Administratum keep things together. Even if you have almost no clue how. Besides, all the people you just saved were charging right at that Keep...

-[X] We're going to the keep anyways, might as well get everyone semi-organized so if we fight again they are a better chance of surviving

Five of the ten guards die before the remaining ones open fire upon the sudden assassin, bullets and las shots merely leaving the faintest of flesh wounds upon their target.
Stone Ranged Combat Roll: 53 + 15 (Shredder) + 10 (Decades of Experience) = 78 vs 7 + 15 (Swift Beyond Means) + 15 (Monstrous Physique) = 37
Stone lands a solid shot on the assassin's chest, flesh and carapace fall like rain as a hole appears straight through the creatures side. It continues fighting without caring about the wound.
The assassin passes by the guards and charges straight at Rowena, aiming to kill her. Stone interrupts, trait - Until I Die, triggers.
Stone vs Assassin: 32 + 15 (Masterfully Crafted Ogryn's Greatsword) + 5 (Ogryn Strength) + 10 (Decades of Experience) = 62 vs 58 + 15 (Tyranid Blades) + 15 (Swift Beyond Means) + 15 (Monstrous Physique) = 103
Through sheer experience and will Stone manages to keep the Assassin locked in combat with himself, but suffers half a dozen deep cuts from the assassin's blades.
Rowena escapes the chamber with the remaining Vanguard in tow, but the mechanism for the escape tunnel is slow giving the assassin a chance to follow.
Stone vs Assassin 2: 92 + 15 (Masterfully Crafted Ogryn's Greatsword) + 5 (Ogryn Strength) + 10 (Decades of Experience) = 122 vs 55 + 15 (Tyranid Blades) + 15 (Swift Beyond Means) + 15 (Monstrous Physique) = 100
Against a fighter who has been in hundreds upon hundreds of near-death battles speed is not always the answer. Taking Stone for a slow witted fool, the Assassin pulls off an acrobatic stunt and attempts to bypass them entirely, but the ogryn instead removes one of the creature's arms with a single, well placed strike. Rowena's escape route closes leaving the Assassin to navigate past Stone to escape.
Stone vs Assassin 3: 33 + 15 (Masterfully Crafted Ogryn's Greatsword) + 5 (Ogryn Strength) + 10 (Decades of Experience) = 63 vs 80 + 7 (Tyranid Blades) + 15 (Swift Beyond Means) + 15 (Monstrous Physique) = 117 Until I Die Roll (DC 30): 81
Even with only one arm, a Genestealer Locus designed and grown to be an assassin is a horrifying opponent. In a flash of movement that Stone can't even track a dozen new cuts are opened all across his body and the blade from the Locus' severed arm winds up embedded in his chest. However, an Ogryn is not so easily kept from their dream.
Stone vs Assassin 4: 39 + 15 (Masterfully Crafted Ogryn's Greatsword) + 5 (Ogryn Strength) + 10 (Decades of Experience) - 5 (Prolonging Death) = 64 vs 64 + 7 (Tyranid Blades) + 15 (Swift Beyond Means) + 15 (Monstrous Physique) = 101 Until I Die (DC 40): 28 Until I Die - Re-roll (DC 40): 11
Despite Stone's best attempt to kill the Locus that intended Rowena harm he meet's a grizzly end, the Assassin's remaining blade slicing his throat and then stabbing into his head. Resentfully, the Ogryn finally rests.
Genestealer Sleeper Cell Triggers: 17 + 5 (Genestealer Town Guard) + 15 (A Devious Plot) = 37 vs 69 + 25 (Vanguard Bonus) = 94
The long hidden plants of the Genestealer cult reveal themselves in an attempt to buy time for the Locus, they are cut down brutally and efficiently by the enraged guns of the Vanguard.
The assassin's reaction is a fraction too slow and it's injured body is riddled with wounds from the awaiting soldiers gunfire. Further injured, the Locus is forced to take cover in the command room rather than chase his target.
Traitors Among the Vanguard? (DC 25): 2
The escape tunnel is shaken by a sudden explosion, one that signals the end of the soldiers that stayed behind to cover Rowena's escape.
The Locus persists for a scant few seconds before being turned to dust by an unseen force.
Stone stood where she always did, her mismatched armor clinging tightly to the mountain of muscle that made up her form making her stand out in the room full of soldiers and scribes, directly across from both entrances. Her hand placed upon the shotgun resting against her hip as her eyes scan the room, always keeping the aged woman at the center of it in her sight, stooped over a table laden with reports and small scale holo-displays Rowena was the picture of exhaustion. A scribe stormed across the room with a stack of reports in hand, the man bending down beside her causing Stone's finger to trace the trigger as she readies for a shot that would put the attacker out of action while leaving her charge uninjured.
After a few long moments, Rowena nods and mutters a sentence inaudibly before waving the scribe away as her hands change the displays to show the scattered crowds fleeing towards the Keep even as the dispatched Vanguard struggle to rein them in. It's at that precise moment that Stone hears it, a slight fluttering and a number of faint gurgling sounds drawing the seasoned bodyguard's eyes to a door on the left even as the Vanguard scattered about the room open fire. A slim figure hidden under a cloak stands their, two jagged knives clutched in pale hands peeking from beneath as red blood drips from the bone white surface which seems to twitch and writhe.
The staccato pop of gunpowder firearms and the distinctive cracks of lasguns ring through the room, but the assassin ignores them all as the bullets and laser blasts simply wash over them ineffectively. Turning into a half seen blur, the figure dashes straight for Rowena and a dozen fountains of blood open up around it as unfortunate scribes meet a swift, brutal end. If it was someone else then perhaps that would be the end of the aging Governor, but no, Stone was the one tasked with her protection.
Far beyond what the common folk have come to believe an Ogryn capable of, Stone's hand snaps up with her Shotgun clutched tightly in one hand, it's blocky mass shuddering and creaking as a deafening roar and a near blinding gout of fire bursts out. A solid metal slug tearing from the barrel to impact against it's target and simply keep going without a care in the world, chitin and flesh shattering into a fine mist that rains down upon the floor as the round hammers into the wall behind with a showering of stone raining down. Her gun is falling to the floor before that, Stone herself drawing the dull grey mass of slightly sharpened metal from her back as she desperately tries to close the gap, Rowena only now registering the attempt on her life,
"NO ONE HURTS HER!"
A gravel like roar of rage echoes through the room and the upper area of the Keep, the thumping of a charging Ogryn sending the furniture in the room shaking even as the sword clutched tightly in her hand slashes out in an overhead arc that brings a shrill whistle into existence. Fully aware of the incoming blow, the assassin is forced to withdraw as their relatively lithe form jumps flips backwards and lands into a roll that allows them to narrowly avoid the follow up strike which instead pulverizes a table. Wood chips and papers dancing in the air, again the foe attempts to navigate past the wall of muscle that has presented itself, eyes locked relentlessly on Rowena's retreating figure as she is rushed into a tunnel hidden within the wall.
It was a horrible mistake to underestimate an Ogryn. Stone's figure spinning with a grace and dexterity that is far beyond what one would expect as her arms slash out with incredible speed. A well angled blow of the greatsword simultaneously shearing through the would-be killer at the shoulder and then embedding itself into the floor just before them to cut off their charge.
"Not her, me."
Blood dripping from all over her form where the assassin's blades had simply sheared through her armor and torn deep furrows into her flesh, clutching a weapon larger than most humans, and snarling at the thing that would dare to harm her charge. Stone struck a striking figure, one that would inspire awe and reverence in others if only there were some present to witness her story coming to an end. Sadly, there are none and the assassin's focus turns solely upon her as the torn cloak falls from it's form to reveal a pallid humanoid figure, body stick thin and yet clearly defined even through the layers of chitin that have grown upon it's figure. Two new limbs revealing themselves as they grab the falling arm from the air, remove the blade clutched tightly in it's hand, and simply disappear from Stone's sight.
A prickling pain in her chest causes the Ogryn to look down, a pure white blade expanding and wiggling as it slowly pushes itself deeper and deeper into her while veins of red appear all along it's body that Stone couldn't understand. In the next moment a new cascade of injuries opens up and the shrill screech of metal on metal fills the air, a dozen jets of blood announcing the wounds appearing on her form.
'No... NO, I MUST PROTECT HER. MUST!'
Pushed on solely by force of will, Stone clutches her sword in one hand and raises it up to slam down towards the hazy figure moving all around her and, perhaps thankfully, it is one she is destined to never see finish as a blade slashes across her throat before burying itself through her temple. Still the strike lands, stone shattering as the blade forces half of itself into the floor with remarkably horrifying ease before being joined by a resounding thud as the room falls horrifyingly silent.
Ignoring the valiant warrior it had just brought to an end, the Locus turns it's attention to the room at large as it begins it's search for whatever mechanism the target had used to escape. It still had a target, it would kill them. In the Keep proper, long hidden assets of the Cult awaken in a desperate bid to buy the Locus time, the figure themselves emotionless as they scrabble along the wall near the closed secret entrance as their head swivels about wildly in search of any minute det-
A slight indent to one of the stones, imperceptible to humans and yet more than obvious to a creature like them, juts out from the wall and a light press causes the wall to give way revealing a short tunnel that turns at a sharp angle. And the awaiting guards. A torrent of lasfire and bullets tear into the Locus in a brutal storm, their broken body far from enough to hold up under a new wave of attacks as it dives aside in search of cover. However, as it falls out of sight a cry comes from the tunnel within,
"For the one true lord!"
The room shudders as the sound of an explosion sounds out, dust and tendrils of fire pouring from the tunnel. Hesitantly, the Locus peers around the corner and finds the guards within dead to the last, the source of the explosion coming solidly from in their midst and thus the chase begins. Throwing themselves around the corner, the Locus tears through the corridor with a speed beyond what any mundane human is capable of, stairs and corridors blurring past until at last a large pillar lined chamber comes into view far below where they had originally intended their prey to die.
Sitting in the center of the hall, gasping for air and staring off to one side, Governor Rowena seems to be horrified. It didn't matter, the Locus had a task. She must die. Stepping forwar- It couldn't step forward.
"Upstart insects shouldn't intervene."
A cold voice echoes through the chamber as the air around the Locus presses in, warning alarms ringing throughout it's Mind as it desperately seeks to warn the Hive only for no answer to come. All around ti the world twists and then it disappears with a faint pop, dust raining to the ground in a small cloud as distorted space recovers. Faint laughter rings through the hall as the same voice speaks again,
Now we need; Tau, enslavers, Eldar, dark eldar, the Marines Malevolent, inquisition, and finally... the Necrons (fuck that though). So, I'm betting eldar farseer diplomatic event next, either by future shit, or cause of space hulks tendency to be in the warp, crashing strait into the web way walls.

... Oh.
OH.
So that's why Augustus' relationship to ??? was in negatives.
An intriguing existence, especially considering it's blank nature.
But an enemy none the less, a potential obstacle to their plot of taking over the administratum.
eldar tongue needs very specific degree of anatomy and skills, meaning that most beings cant speak eldar tongue
but given that our power and war ascension modifies our MC body quite massively, does that mean that eventually he would be capable of talking eldar tongue with fluidity if he proposed to?
