A Flair for Mould Breaking [Celestial Forge / Multiverse]

will there be a roll when this side story is finished? and if so will it use all points built up from the side story?

What point accumulation? I'm not doing weight of the quill. I mean, yes there will be one last big set of rolls after the arc's done, but honestly they don't change too much and mostly threw them in as a consolation XD

Chapter 134

AFfMB – 134

After the conflict was over, came the time to clean up the battlefield. It was thankfully quite easy to carry by having the drones collect all the debris, ships and carefully recover all bodies. There was no reason not to give the Decepticon's bodies a bit of respect.

It wasn't long for a new problem to crop up, or better yet, an old problem to resurface. No matter what Optimus had declared with the victory, Autobots and Decepticons were too much of old enemies to simply drop grievances. Which quickly left to members of our group to mediate the problems that came up as a third, more unaligned party in the situation.

Of course if it was just the Transformers that had taken part of the battle, the current available teams may have been enough. Unfortunately, there were large numbers of ships arriving each other from all over the galaxy. Not just those nomads, but also envoys from colonies that had lost all contact with the planet. Meaning our available numbers were quickly becoming too small to remain effective.

This meant I had restarted the production of Metaloids, many I was pretty sure may decide to stay behind once we left. So far the new kids were adapting incredibly well to their surroundings, just like I had designed them for, especially during their early maturation process.

Spirit of Iacon, Spirit of Polyhex and Spirit of Kalis had been properly deployed, the three city-ships had settled equidistant from the AllSpark Well, and they would most likely set off once Unicron's awakening was confirmed just in case.

A small alert from the radars showed the sudden appearance of a large number of signals, hopefully the fact that they were Autobots meant that they could remain diplomatic in face of the changes. The few ships still on orbit guided them through the remaining battlefield and down to Spirit of Iacon, the most Autobot city at the moment. Though both Optimus and Megaempress were trying to have their forces mix as much as possible

I was impressed by her foresight in this decision. Of course it could also be her trying to find all the weaknesses possible to strike as hard and fast. I hoped it wasn't.

Another alert showed that Earth was starting to go through some worrisome changes on its weather patterns. It was nothing catastrophic, yet. But I didn't think it would remain that way for too long. The planetary alignment was steadily approaching, and nothing would stop the planet's movement. Nor did I want to try.

All ships were already prepared, set slightly above the normal orbit humans used and under stealth. I just hoped the systems would be able to collect everyone before it was too late, I wanted to have a death-count as low as possible.

Thankfully given the healing technology I had, even those just deceased could be brought back as long as thirty minutes hadn't passed. And given the multi-tasking paired with the number of ships, no one should remain dead through the method. Though I had to slave my three bodies to produce enough golden nanopacks for the situation.

One more alert actually surprised me enough to make me stop. It looks like someone deep inside the planet was calling specifically for me. I wonder if they would like the project I'm preparing.

Rose hummed a soft tune to herself, it was a completely new one that had been caught by one of her many siblings while her dad was busy with something or another. It was a catchy tune perfect for the moment as she watched the Autobot ship land just outside of Spirit of Iacon.

Technically Arcee had to be present, but the Transformer had been swamped with other duties to the point it ended up with her being alone. It should all go well, she thought herself to be charismatic and social enough to not start some sort of conflict.

She stood in her human-sized body as she watched the ship open its ramp, a number of Autobots stepping out. Surprisingly, the three leading the group were females.

She floated up, the trail of green energy eye-catching enough to get their attention as she waved. "Greeting and welcome to the Spirit of Iacon."

The pink and white one at the front stopped, which caused everyone following her to stop. She exchanged a quick look to her two closest companions before she turned back to Rose. "I'm Elita-1, I received a message that Cybertron had been restored."

"As you can see, you've been told correctly. I'm Rose, but you can also refer to me as Ghost." She said, happily explaining. "To prevent confusion, I'm not a Mini-Con, I'm a Metaloid. My kind's quite young, at best you could call me a cousin to Cybertronians given what went into our creation. Anyways, Arcee should have been here to welcome you, but other matters have kept her busy due to our extreme short-handedness on numbers."

"Then we'll gladly help be helping here, especially in defense. I doubt the Decepticons will pass up the chance to try and attack the cities." Elita said with a small amount of venom in her voice.

"Well… yes, about that," said Rose, chuckling softly. "A lot has happened, and I'm sure Optimus or Ratchet will want to talk with you to update you on the subject. But I feel it's necessary for me to warn you so we don't have problems."

Elite just raised an eyebrow.

"The Decepticons did attack earlier, and not only were they defeated. But Optimus defeated Megatron in a duel to the death." Rose watched more than a few sets of eyebrows rise as she explained. "The complete subsumption of the losing side was the main element of the duel, Megatron accepted it in front of his followers. So with his passing, his second in command, Megaempress, followed through with it."

"You mean there are Decepticons going arou-" One blue female stepped forward, only stopping when Elita-1 put her hand out.

"That's enough, Chromia." She warned her with a much harder and colder tone, showing Rose why she was the leader of her group. "I will talk with Optimus about it. But as long as they don't start anything I order you to at least ignore them if possible." She gave all of her forces a hard look. "Understood?." She then turned to Rose again.

Before Elita could say anything, Rose spoke. "It's okay, I'm here to pass on the news so we don't have problems. Also, you may be contacted by one of my siblings, Athena. They are currently in charge of the large-scale organization. That means they will want to run a census on your number and set up a communication method for you and your troops to keep up to date on all manners."

Elita nodded.

"One last thing, given the upcoming situation with Unicron's awakening, the cities are currently only providing basic services. This still covers repairs for you and your troops, along with repairs and production of vehicles and weapons." She quickly explained as a drone dropped by her side. "You can follow this to your destination, Optimus is waiting for you."

"Thank you," Elita said, "would it be a bother if Chromia remains behind to ask you a few more questions?"

"Absolutely not, I'm always up to meet new people." Rose happily answered.

Chrome stood close to Rose as the two of them watched the rest follow the drone, swiftly transforming into vehicles and accelerating to take advantage of the many roads the city sported.

"Would you prefer to talk in a more comfortable place?" She offered, the Autobot just nodded.

"That would be fine."

Rose called for a portal, an opening large enough for both deposited them on one of the many and still empty penthouses. Chromia looked surprised, making her chuckle as she guided to a table.

"That wasn't a Landbridge." She noted.

"No, that's a short-distance space fold. It's an ability provided by our ships as it can skip a lot of the problems and restrictions Landbridges have." She explained as she retrieved some snacks.

"This is already shaping into quite an interesting day." The blue Autobot took the properly-sized chair and inspected one of the snacks made from the metallic crops. Chromia just raised an eyebrow in inquiry.

"Living metal crops," she explained, "contain traces of Energon so Cybertronians should have no problem consuming them and acquiring the necessary energy." She added with a grin.

The Autobot nodded and gave it a tentative nibble, quickly growing surprised before she consumed the rest. "...it's good."

"I know, right? Dad made it for us because he didn't think we had to be restricted to just Energon and a few basic metals for our diet."

"What do you mean by that? And could you explain to me a bit more about your species? You called yourself Metaloid, was that correct?"

"Yes, we're Metaloids." Rose nodded. "We all were created by Guru, he's the one we call father and you will most likely hear about him soon; maybe meet him too. While the original ten of us, me included, started our existence as unshackled AIs, we exchanged some of that potential for physical and personal growth. Our designs mix both Cybertronian physiology, mainly Mini-Con, and Human, which is the race our father was born to."

She quickly retold a bit of how her siblings and she ended up helping Optimus and his crew. How the first few fights with the Decepticons, the defense of Earth, the arrival of her dad, the discovery of Unicron and later the revival of Cybertron during the fight and victory over the Decepticons.

Chromia nodded along. "…something that still nags me. You said you gained physical potential, what did you mean by that?"

Rose thought for a moment. "Dad is pretty similar to both Solus Prime and Primus, he lives to create. Everything from vehicles, technology, weapons and programs, to magic, planets, species and large-scale interconnected systems. One of his greatest creations is the Power Cores." She explained with a hand over her chest. "The Power Cores bond with the person's Soul/Spark, it envelops them. It helps them grow, keeps them safe and provides the person access to a special power, you could say they turn the person into a point one percenter." Those words seemed to surprise Chromia much more than the story so far. "In my case, it allows me to phase through matter between just many other abilities."

"Just like the Phase Shifter." Chromia mumbled, quickly explaining when Rose looked expectant. "The Phase Shifter is a famous relic that allows its user to phase through solid matter at their wishes."

"Very impressive," she said and let out a forlorn sigh, "there's many times I wish I could have had access to abilities like that."

"Well… you could." Rose grinned as she quickly turned while boggling. "I did say the Power Cores can work with both Souls and Sparks. Actually a number of Optimus' crew have taken to using Power Cores during the fights back on Earth as the Decepticons were getting a tad too aggressive."

"Would that mean I could get one too?" Her tone was livelier.

Rose had noticed that so far Chromia had taken a more business approach, not that she was bothered by it, her leader had asked her to acquire information and she had done. This was the first time she felt like the Autobot was asking for herself.

She couldn't help it and broke out in laughter, making Chromia pout at her. After that their talk felt much more lighthearted. That's why she wouldn't tell Chromia yet about the message her dad had spread through the network.

\/AFfMB\/

I floated through the portal directly to Cybertron's AllSpark's chamber.

Before it had been empty, now the source of Cybertronian life glowed brightly. The AllSpark filled the center of the chamber just enough to leave space for the thousands of millions of Sparks going around it, patiently waiting till they could get their bodies. I imagined most would have to wait till the plan was completed.

But I wasn't here to observe such an impressive thing.

"Greetings Guru, it's good to finally meet you."

Primus, because it could only be them, inhabiting the body I had designed for them. It went along the same lines as the Titan's blank bodies, though different from Tara and Artemis' own, Primus' body was the most unassuming Transformer around.

"Primus," I gave them a soft nod of my head, "I hope the body is of your liking."

"It's indeed a magnificent craft, I've to admit it even took me a moment to notice its existence due to the many enchantments weaved into its existence.. no, it would be better to say you alloyed the concept of unassuming into the body itself." Primus observed. "It's also very simple and straightforward in how it works. I've to admit I didn't expect it."

I smiled. "I've found a liking in surprising your kind of beings." I admitted. "Though I've only managed it twice so far."

They laughed good-naturedly. "This will certainly ease a few problems in the future. I'd also like to thank you for allowing me access to your Network, it has helped me adapt much better." I nodded to his words. "Before we can talk, could you open a portal to a set of particular coordinates?"

I nodded and quickly received a set of coordinates. It only surprised me a bit that they appeared to be somewhere in the old Iacon. I still opened the way, allowing both of us to step through.

"You know you can simply be anywhere on yourself, no?" I prompted.

They chuckled. "Yes, I could tell. But I would have left you behind, and it feels like that would be bad manners."

I smiled and looked around as we stepped into what appeared to be a well preserved bar. It was mostly empty, the only Cybertronian inside seemed to wake up from a nap, looking more than a bit surprised before Primus allowed a bit of his essence out.

"Primus!" He exclaimed.

"Calm down, Alchemist Prime." Their words seemed to be enough.

I followed as they took one of the stools, I took another. The hunched over bartender gave Primus a long and careful look. As he turned to me, I lifted a hand to stop him.

"I would warn you about trying that with me, some things about my soul aren't for safe consumption." I warned them.

"Alchemist, this is Guru, a… friend, hopefully." They turned to me and I nodded. "And he's right, his soul has become the most curious thing." They added with a chuckle.

Alchemist nodded at the warning, and as he turned to look at me, I easily felt it was nowhere as deep as he had looked at Primus.

"Amazing, your soul lies spread through three different bodies… but it appears you're missing something. I hope you didn't come across something that caused that level of damage." He observed.

"Oh, no, that was my doing. A fourth of myself remained back in my World to take care of the local issues." I explained.

"Impressive, very impressive." He then turned back to Primus. "I never thought I would see you walking between us."

"It's once more thanks to Guru." Primus said in good humor.

I nodded. "Before we activated the Omega Lock I carried out a number of upgrades in the AllSpark's chamber." I explained.

"...so that was what made me drop that bottle." Alchemist noted.

Primus looked at him before breaking out laughing. "You always had a thing about taking things at your own pace, no?"

The Prime did the closest thing to blushing a Cybertronian could.

"Anyways, with you that's four Primes." Primus' tone turned back to business. "The Thirteen's awakening into his role wonderfully, taking the first step to unify Cybertronians properly as a single race of Transformers. Solus Prime is back thanks to Guru and with her Megatronus has also mostly recovered; I may need to visit him once Unicron's defeated." They said as Alchemist placed a glass of an oily beverage on the table. "I fear that if his goals are completed he may feel lost."

"Are you sure?" Alchemist asked as he gave me a look, inquiring if I wanted a drink. I gently denied as I wasn't one to drink much. "You always preferred to take a hands-off approach."

"I did, and look how things ended," Primus said with a sigh, "of the thirteen of you only three of you survived. You spent most of your life inside this room, never leaving and seeing the world, Megatronus went into self-imposed exile that would have led to his eventual demise, and I can't even tell when Vector Prime went."

They emptied the glass, obviously utilizing it to stop and think. "But today I've seen a completely different approach." They turned to me." Thanks to your network I've observed how you treat your children as children. You help them grow and develop, you're there for them."

I shared a look with Alchemist, both of us wondering Primus really was drunk or it was just them letting go of their worries. The blank Titan bodies were designed to allow larger entities to more easily interact with discrete individuals, this came with emotional emulation between other systems.

Primus sighed and slammed the glass down. "At least I can do better now." They turned to Alchemist. "Unicron's coming, you should join your siblings."

"If you will, Primus."

"No," they interrupted him, "this is not me ordering you, it's not my will. Go see your siblings, find how the world changed. You can always return to tend the bar once the crisis' finished. Or stay out there and wander a bit, it may do you good."

Alchemist listened to them before chuckling. "I think you're right. It's been a pretty dry season lately." He turned to me. "Can you open one of those portals?"

I nodded. "Allow me to warn the other Primes first, two of them have been pretty busy lately with the preparations and the last is off brooding or something." I said jokingly.

After a moment I opened the portal, allowing the Prime to step through as I turned to Primus. "Want to see what I've prepared for the fight with Unicron?"

As they nodded, I opened another portal, this taking us to the space under the floating islands in my Personal Realm.

This realm has been growing steadily since I've acquired it. Even if at the start most of its natural growth had been overshadowed by those changes brought directly by perks, I had noticed after acquiring the knowledge on barriers that the place was constantly growing. I had further expanded its growth under the islands, away from the eyes of those that visited.

While more islands had come to fill the 'land' and turn most into a single large mass that was mostly used for the living of those Metaloids that followed me. Under the space was less defined, but large enough that a small Moon made of metal now rested there.

It was very funny, as long as it was to further my craft, I had as much space as I needed. Even if it was enough space to hold a moon or larger.

"What… What is this? I can feel it." Primus once more sounded surprised.

"I was thinking pretty hard on what to make to help in the fight," I explained, "I thought about providing weapons to install on the planet. But in the end I desisted from it, such weapons could have easily led to future problems."

They agreed. "Hmm… I sadly can see how my children could end up misusing them."

"That's why I decided something larger, large enough that it would be unusable by anyone not you. So I studied the proportions you would have once you transformed." I explained as I activated the transformation.

The small moon-shaped satellite started to transform, the sphere slowly changing into a sword. One massive sword larger than any ship I had created. It wasn't sharpened, its sheer size and mass more than enough to be a prodigious weapon, I didn't doubt it would cleave through most planets in just a few slashes.

Another order and it folded back into an unassuming metal moon. "Think they will notice if the planet suddenly has three natural satellites?" I joked.

They shook their head laughing. "This will hopefully help in the fight." They nodded.

I smiled, happy. Even when I still worried deep inside.

\/AFfMB\/

Time passed quickly. Each day being welcomed with more and more Autobots and Decepticons arriving on the planet. This also pushed me to increase the numbers of Metaloids to act as a sort of buffer between the members of both factions and help dilute the numbers.

This quickly led to a strange effect as this generation of Metaloids started to take more characteristics from the Transformers they shared the planet and living with. Starting with their looks as they didn't need the NN Flesh, instead sporting their metallic skin or replacing the biological elements of the NN Flesh for programmable graphene nanomachines that they used to decorate themselves.

It was very interesting to see this develop in what would most likely be called a cultural aspect for Metaloids in this planet if they remained.

Both Autobots and Decepticons seemed a bit lost on how to deal with the Metaloids, some characteristics of the race had quickly gone around. Things like them being a hive-mind, some of them having strange powers and their ability to link-up with certain vehicles. And talking about vehicles, a number of the kids had taken over a few factories and taken all the knowledge I could give them to manufacture their own vehicles.

It was the Decepticons who appeared to be more surprised by the Metaloids, but at the same time the earnestness they had for a good fight gained some favor with the cons. Meanwhile the Autobots didn't find problems with another race as much as the cons did, but they seemed to have a harder time with the concept of sharing their planet with another race apparently.

Not that any of the two groups could really do much against the Metaloids quickly inserting themselves into different roles and being helpful. Most found pleasure in service roles and treating as many people as possible, especially as their Network actively learned from experiences.

On other matters, the systems I had looked at Earth had noticed more worrisome changes to the climate. Heavier rains, heatwaves, extreme colds, some quakes and other natural disasters. I was starting to get worried, but I had already decided to wait.

With all the ships more than ready to recover all the people, all I could do now was wait. The process would be started as soon as it was confirmed Unicron had awakened, and if I was right, that was in less than twenty four hours.

Hmm. So, Primus is that average-looking guy, with brown hair, brown eyes, regular features? Just sitting over there, in slightly worn but neat clothes?

Then, he flares his aura a bit, and everyone turns and drops to their knees, wave-bowing:

"We Are Not Worthy! We Are Not Worthy!"

And, in reply:

"Until All Are One."

Chapter 135

AFfMB – 135

Jack looked at his two friends. Raf, Miko and him had decided to meet at his place as school was currently on hold from a bad storm the day prior having broken several of the building's windows.

The school hadn't been the only thing damaged by the strong storm, his mother currently slept in her room after having pulled an extra shift to deal with the number of injuries that had come in.

"Any idea?" He asked.

Raf shook his head. "I've been messaging both Ratchet and Bee, neither have much idea what may be happening. They are also very busy lately as they have defeated the Decepticons and in the process of recovering Cybertron." The youngest teen answered.

"Same with Bulkhead and Wheeljack. Both are pretty happy to have won the war, but are also not in the best of moods from having to pardon the Decepticons." Miko said her part, and she quickly added. "Though Bulkhead said it could be Unicron's awakening affecting Earth for some reason."

He sighed. "That's… not good. I'm glad to hear they are doing well, but…" Jack sighed.

Before any of them could speak again, the lights flickered before the whole house shook much worse than before.

"Whoa." "What happened?"

"Turn on the TV." Raf said and Jack quickly grabbed the remote control.

"...interrupt this to bring this emergency broadcast. Natural disasters spread over the world, all governments warn their citizens to remain inside and stay away from fallen live wires and-" The words cut as the light cut completely, the TV going with it.

"What happened?" Miko prompted.

Raf summoned a screen from the DIA system, lighting up the room as the lack of light and the dark storm outside made it seem like night had come. "It appears the storm affected the local power station or the powerlines, most likely both given the speed of the winds. And it's getting worse everywhere." He said as more screens appeared with a gesture of his hand.

Worrisome images from all over the globe lit the room. A stronger quake didn't just send some objects tumbling down, but the sound of one of the windows cracking made more than one of them scream in surprise.

The scream, the noise of the constant shaking had woken June rushed into the room looking still half-asleep. "What happened?!"

"We aren't sure," Jack answered. "There are disasters everywhere."

The woman shook her head and wiped some of the drool off her mouth as she pushed the sleep off and approaching the screens floating on the air, they still lit the room and showed how every corner of the globe was having a bad time.

Jack joined her in looking at the images disappearing one by one as whatever was capturing them fell to destruction.

"Oh…"

Their stupor was broken when the last image faded and was replaced by a message.

STEP THROUGH THE PORTAL

A hole opened by it, given the noise and the brutal shakes, the four quickly ran through, coming to what the three kids recognized as the bridge of the Celestial Forge's ship.

"What? Why are we here?" Raf prompted as Miko ran to one of the many screens.

Jack soon joined her, noticing it was a view of the planet, and how it appeared the apocalypse had started.

"Kids, where are we?" June asked out loud.

"This appears to be one of the ships owned by the Celestial Forge… but what is it doing here?" Jack answered.

"Look!" Miko screamed, making everyone look at the screen she was pointing on.

It wasn't just one ship on orbit above the planet. There were thousands, ten of thousands, there were so many he could barely make sense of the number and at best he could recognize there were more behind the planet, hidden from his view.

Something was happening, not just because the ships started to leave, flying off into the void of space. But the planet under them started to visibly change.

"I'm sorry to have kept this a secret." A voice made everyone turn, finding it was Guru.

"Secret?" Miko asked softly, before her tone became harder. "You mean you knew this would happen?!"

Guru nodded. "Yes, It was unfortunately inevitable. Sooner or later Unicron would have awakened and Earth would have been destroyed."

"You mean everyone I know is dead? My parents!" Miko screamed and ran at him, but soon found herself floating, incapable of moving.

"No one died," Guru stated in a tone that left no doubt, "or didn't die for long enough that I couldn't provide the necessary healing and resuscitation. What do you think so many ships were doing out there?"

Everyone stiffened, there had been a lot of ships.

"Every human and animal on the planet was recovered once the awakening process was all but confirmed. As you can see," the clouds on the planet were disappearing, showing how the planet started to visibly break, "this was the nick of time."

"Isn't it dangerous to remain watching then?" Jack asked.

Guru let out a soft chuckle, causing Miko to bristle a bit. "Calm down, this ship was the first to leave. All those images are from the satellites and drones left on orbit to observe the process." He explained.

"But if Earth is destroyed…" Raf's tone was soft, but heard by everyone.

"I will be building a new planet after Unicron's dealt with." Everyone boggled to his words. "It wouldn't be the first time. I've scanned the planet very carefully and picked important places up, mostly those with long historical meaning. The rest will be a completely new planet. I will also be fixing all those pesky problems the old one had."

"But a planet is… a planet!" Miko cried out as she was set back down.

Guru shrugged. "Just like Archimedes said, give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum to place it, and I will move the world. For me, just give me the tools, and I will craft you anything." He spoke candidly. "… it's starting."

The four of them turned to look at the main screen of the bridge.

There were no clouds left covering the planet, most of the oceans seemed to have muddled into an unrecognizable sludge or boiled away. Volcanoes were erupting all over its surface, spewing a glowing purple lava that seemed to dye the earth. And then with a catastrophic explosion as a ring exploded out of the planet, severing its crust in half.

"What is that?!"

Guru didn't reply as the ring continued to expand, city-sized pieces of rock fell off as the two halves of the planet started to be shed as the massive being once hidden inside the planet stirred awake.

It was soon followed by a ring of massive triangles piercing out of what once was the ocean. Each taller than the tallest mountain and made of the same rusty orange metal. The area inside the ring sank into a dark pit that reminded all of them of a massive and terrible maw.

"Oh my god…" June whispered as more and more of the crust drifted off.

It was hard to conceive the idea of a planet moving in any other way than going in orbit around their star. To even think of an object so massive it could keep one standing on top of it through sheer gravitational attraction could decide to move and accelerate on its own will.

More and more of Unicron was revealed, the rusty orange and the dull gray. A beast so unfathomably huge to most people would consider it Eldritch in its nature. Finally the image cut before the whole of the being was revealed, some kind of silent scream destroyed all cameras nearby the Destroyer. Only a few caught sight of it from the edges of the solar system before Unicron blinked out of existence.

It was almost a minute before any of the humans in the room could speak again.

"I can't even describe what that was. Nor will I ever be capable of forgetting it." She murmured, a thought shared by all of them.

"I apologize for having kept it a secret. But I think you can now understand a bit better why the few of us that knew of this didn't say a thing." Guru explained, getting a few nods.

"What about all the other people? And animals?" Miko prompted after a few more moments of silence.

"Everyone's held in stasis, enough freedom for me to heal all of them. Everyone will be later placed back in a place as close as possible to where they were."

"What about agent Fowler?"

"He's a good man, but at the end he's still a soldier. He would have made this harder." Guru explained.

"You will start to rebuild the planet now?" Raf asked, sounding guiltily eager to see.

"No, not yet." The man shook his head. "First we have to make sure Unicron's dealt with, and… if the worst were to happen, I would make sure to bring this humanity to another World and settle them in a new Earth."

As they digested these words, Guru continued.

"For now please relax and enjoy the amenities. And don't be afraid to ask for anything you need." Guru nodded and disappeared into a portal before they could ask for anything.

"Did… did he just leave like that?" Miko asked, more surprised than anything else.

"If Unicron really woke up, they must be really busy." Jack tried to answer.

Raf unconsciously nodded as he turned to the monitor. "So where are we exactly?" He prompted.

The screen beeped once and shifted to a map of the Solar System, pointedly missing the Earth and instead just having a cloud of dust and the Moon apparently losing its orbit. The image quickly showed their ship has gone up and away from Earth's previous position; for a meaning of up.

The map quickly shifted to a detailed view of the Galaxy, showing the ships were parked nearby a planet recognized as Druidia by the Cybertronian's records. Currently unclaimed, but considered a viable planet for life. It held a breathable atmosphere for humans along with a very Earth-like biosphere. No intelligent life had been observed.

"So we're stuck here now?" June asked, looking to have finally digested all the information she had gotten in the last fifteen minutes.

Jack smiled at her. "It's not as bad as it appears, mom." He said. "Knowing Guru this place will be pretty comfort-"

"We need to explore!" Miko's emotions did one of her usual flips and ran out of the door.

Raf sighed. "I will make sure she doesn't break anything." The youngest teen responsibly said and rushed after her.

"That girl has just too much energy." June observed before her son followed her out of the bridge's ship to explore the installations.

Athena watched the tone of Cybertron change in an instant the moment the news of Unicron's awakening came through. Just before everything was hopeful, no matter their previous allegiance, most bots wanted peace one way or another; they wanted to rest and recover. A moment later the horrible memories of war had returned, suddenly all growing cheer had dissipated like morning fog and every bot knew a new conflict was starting.

Already the three city-ships were collecting and rising, filled with Transformers old and young, followed by all the ships that had been fixed and refurbished. Athena's siblings had learned a lot in Cybertronian's mechanics in the process.

And as always, they held a metaphorical ear to all the communications going around, only paying enough attention to them to know if something important happened.

"...to think they were telling us the truth…"

"...and I told them to…"

"...since when did Cybertron have three Moons?"

The last one made Athena stop for a moment and turn their attention to the extra satellite. The small moon was completely made of metal, and something about it echoed in them. They couldn't help it, instead laughing as it quickly made sense. There were only a few beings capable of creating something like a moon from nowhere.

Athena quickly tapped in all communications.

"For all those interested, the new Moon's a weapon designed to fight Unicron." They messaged everyone, thankfully their father had provided some information about it.

They continued coordinating the evacuation off the planet, once everyone had been far away, they communicated again.

"Caution, Cybertron will enter the transformation process."

The network was filled with sounds of surprise that only grew louder and more panicked as the planet visibly started to shift. It split and twisted, plates and mountain-sized blocks moved everywhere. New towers rose and other areas sank deeper in.

It was definitely an impressive sight to see. The two natural moons had somehow ended up locked slightly behind Primus' massive body, like a pair of bodyguards. The new moon, on the other hand, started to shift as the actual titanic being reached for it, swiftly taking the shape of a long, straight sword. One bigger than any ship anyone had seen.

"...that's Primus?!"

"Oh… I owe that bastard so much Energon now…"

"I can believe we lived on that!"

Unicron was nowhere yet, but everyone knew it wouldn't take long for the beast to come. Two of the three city-ships would be flying away, taking all of those that weren't ready to fight a battle like this or were too young for it.

The remaining forces were preparing, no one believed any kind of conflict would stay with just the two titans fighting. Athena was pretty sure if the Destroyer had been capable of controlling Megatron, it could control others of similar bent.

And then it appeared, space itself cracking as Unicron traveled through the act of destroying the barriers. The most shocking fact is that the being comes accompanied by a number of ships, all of them leaking a fog in a familiar purple.

To think someone would align themselves with the being to bring the end of all things. Athena wanted to rage, but instead she prepared for battle. They would bring their best!

\/AFfMB\/

Megadeath could barely believe it, but it was true.

Unicron had answered their call, their sacrifice. The destroyer feasted on the thousands upon thousands of Cybertronian bodies, both Decepticon and Autobots had been collected from thousands of battlefields and small fights. Along with them were ships, showing many more than those two allegiances.

He laughed. "Yesssss, yessss, feeed my lord!"

His minions followed his example, chanting while holding and consuming Dark Energon. He had already consumed Dark Energon long ago, his Spark was practically all Dark Energon by now. He had so much of it he could feel his master's will.

"Eat and recover! Soon everything shall end!" Megadeath cackled, the minions imitating and echoing him.

He watched with awe as Unicron's maw swallowed all those corpses and ship carcasses. It may have been a mountain, but for a planet-sized being, it was barely a meal!

Unicron slowly turned to them and he knew what was coming. Megadeath didn't stop laughing as the Destroyer's maw opened again and started to absorb all the asteroids, his base, all of his minions and him.

He didn't fear death, the end was coming. But he knew it wasn't just yet.

As his master swallowed him, he was put through sensations he never imagined possible, pains that he wanted to share with everyone. He felt himself be changed, reforged with death and darkness.

Megadeath was finally released, but he wasn't Megadeath anymore. His red body was now a sickly purple, his maw had so many fangs it didn't close anymore, a fourth eye had peered from inside.

He laughed harder. "To the ships!" His voice reverberated in the void as those that had been changed along him followed. "It's time to destroy Cybertron!"

It wasn't just those transformed, many of those corpses had been brought back as slavering beasts to act as undying soldiers. As long as Unicron stood, they would return to fight again.

He could only cackle like a madbot as they followed the Destroyer.

\/AFfMB\/

I shuddered at the sight, seeing Unicron through the cameras and in person was different.

Even as the Destroyer stood about a million kilometers away I could feel how it was my antithesis, a being that looked the end of all things, that wanted to destroy everything till nothing was left behind.

I held another shudder as I watched Unicron cross space accompanied by a purple fog that soon revealed to be Terrorcons. And not just those mindless zombies, but also willing subjects if they could still think enough to pilot those ships. Or were those ships Terrorcons too?

I noticed Athena informing everyone of their nature and all the information we had on them. It would be a hard fight, even if it had been Unicron alone, Primus would most likely only be able to fight it to a stall.

I turned to Sabbah and Dani, the only two accompanying me in the Celestial Victory.

"Looks like we won't be too useful this time." Dani said, a wry smile on her face.

"We could fight the Terrorcons, but…" Sabbah hummed thoughtfully.

"There's a way we can fight all together." I hummed and activated one of the special features I had added to the Victory.

The spot in the room usually occupied by the pilot chair was replaced by three pods very similar to those used for the control Combat Combatants.

"It took me some time, but I managed to reverse engineer the Combined Attack and improve it." I explained. "I call it Synchro-Mode, it's custom made to allow the three of us to fight as one. Well, mostly me offering the power and you two guiding the body."

Even from a few meters away I saw Dani's eyes shift into slits. "Wait, you mean we will use the Victory's giant robot mode to fight as one? That's so cool!" She squealed.

I chuckled as Sabbah approached the pods to observe them closer. "Is that why it's just the three of us here?"

"Yes," I answered, "it won't be exactly too safe outside of the pods as nearly all systems will be focusing on protecting this area or powering the body. That's why I already stored all the rooms of the ship away into the Personal Realm."

Dani giggled. "Wait till I tell Danny that I was a giant robot once."

My hands extended to the two of them. "Would you allow me this dance?" I asked.

They each took a hand before they grabbed each other's next. "Let's dance." Sabbah said as Dani nodded.

\/AFfMB\/

Optimus had been talking with the other Primes when it happened, even before the message ran through the network the other Primes and him reacted. Their backs stiffened and as one the four of them turned to look into the distance.

"Unicron's coming." Alchemist mumbled.

Meeting him had been a strange experience for Optimus, and that was something to say when the last couple of months had been a thing. Alchemist had come through one of Guru's portals after he had checked on them. The Prime apparently had been sleeping somewhere and Primus had told him to join them.

The weirdest part had been how Alchemist had given Optimus a look and greeted him like an old friend, and it had felt right.

He then proceeded to snipe at Megatronus, the Prime only huffing and looking away. Solus had received a big hug.

"Finally," Megatronus exclaimed, "I was getting bored here."

"It looks like Unicron's not coming alone." Solus Prime observed as she started to retrieve the information provided by Athena. "Hundreds of Dark Energon-laced ships surround him."

"Where did Unicron get access to that many ships and dead Cybertronians?" Optimus prompted.

"I've no idea, but they are there for us to deal with." Solus Prime answered. "And if what you told us about them is right, they won't go down till Unicron's defeated."

Megatronus snorted. "I bet they won't come back from being disintegrated."

Solus Prime shrugged. "If you want to do that go ahead, I don't doubt the upgraded Requiem Blaster has enough power to deal with them. But its attack is too focused to deal with all of them. So if you want to go and erase them one shot at a time we'll be lucky if you get to ten percent before the battle's over."

He growled.

"It's not the time to fight between us," Optimus interrupted them, "Megatronus, if you see a good opening, use it. But it would be wiser to save the weapon's power to deal with Unicron."

The darker Prime snorted dismissively. "I know that."

Solus just shook her head as she continued checking screens before she stopped and broke out in laughter. "Oh that…"

"What happened?" Alchemist prompted as he approached her.

"Just… just watch." She said between laughs and swiped a screen.

The screen grew to cover the wall, showing what Optimus recognized as the Celestial Victory, it was just as colorful as its sibling ship the Triumph. In front of their eyes, the ship started to open and shift, imitating a titan, the kilometer long ship started to stand straight as arms and legs took shape.

Panels shifted and moved, covering important and hiding important areas as where the ship was now stood a hundred of meters tall robot. There was just a detail missing…

"Where's the head?" Alchemist asked, and in response a small flicker appeared over the robot's torso before igniting in a miniature galaxy. "...oh."

The void of space seemed to shift and web itself into a cape as what appeared to be water decorated the darkness of the cape, making it more visible.

Optimus could recognize those two, it wasn't just Guru in that titan, Shadow and Specter were there with him too.

"What is he doing?" Optimus mumbled as the ship pulled back before leaning forward. "Oh…"

The Galaxy of stars the Titan had as a head concentrated and lit up bright enough that they were forced to cover from the light, but they could see enough to witness as a beam of light seared through space and swept across Unicron's forces.

"Looks like he beat you to the punch." Alchemist needled Megatronus.

The Prime just huffed and walked out. "Let's go, I want to shoot some bastards before the fight's over."

"He's right, we've to move, Unicron approaches." Optimus said. "Solus, Alchemist, I suppose you two will remain here providing support?"

"Yeah, I'm not made for battle. But I sure can give some advice to the young'uns." Alchemist answered.

"I do have some tricks in my bag for the fight. But I won't be joining the front lines." Solus Prime said.

"Then let's go, Unicron awaits, may Primus watch over us." Optimus spoke solemnly as he left the two Primes.

He had his part to play too, he was the leader of the Transformers. And as such, he would lead them to victory.

true but no one will even know the earth was destroyed
I think that they will, considering right from the chapter:

"I will be building a new planet after Unicron's dealt with." Everyone boggled to his words. "It wouldn't be the first time. I've scanned the planet very carefully and picked important places up, mostly those with long historical meaning. The rest will be a completely new planet. I will also be fixing all those pesky problems the old one had."

That's not to say Guru couldn't make a completely identical one. Just that he didn't see a particular need to do so. Of course, I'm assuming 'same planet' would be more 'everything but Unicron's body' and have a more 'normal for a planet' replacement in those areas.

....now I kinda want an omake where Guru got Spiral power and then punted Unicron with a flick from a galaxy sized robot

It'll be neet if he made earth like an onion. Surface layer than another layer so on until the very center and each layer is livable hella more space for humanity with out leaving the planet

You can just name it what it is, a matryioshka artificial planetary contruct. Uppermost layer will look like a normal planet, f.e. basically a virginearth regarding resources and boosted vegitation combined and replanted historical sites. I would argue for updated cities with AI management similar to halo planetary civil AI. Inner layers can be whatever people want, maybe vote for in section and regions :D

I think he would refuse to make a perfect copy out of principle. If he did he would have to recreate every spec of pollution in the entire world so that every human and animal would continue to suffer with them every day of their lives.

Archeologists are going to be VERY CONFUSED by the fossil record now.

Although Guru having to go around the earth with a comically large shovel and a bag of bones to ensure 'authenticity' amuses me.

Every human and animal on the planet was recovered
That's... a nice idea, but, don't insects count as 'animals'? Also, unless the vast majority of stuff from Earth was dumped straight into biological stasis, I suspect this would be almost impossible to manage. Is Guru going to be healing injured insects, as well?

I'm guessing that Earth's avatar (Gaia?) was also rescued (and sedated?), and that Guru has enough of a genetic sampling from all the plant and fungal life that this can be regrown. Really not a good idea to forget all the bacterial life, though, some in stasis under Antartic ice, and some (thermo/chemo-synthetic) miles deep in the Earth's crust, with incredibly slow metabolisms.

Biomass (ecology) - Wikipedia says total biomass of Earth is about 5.5x10^11 tonnes, so half a terra-tonne... Possibly interesting is that the total mass of human-made objects on Earth (2020) is about a terra-tonne... Rebuilding/replacing all that is the sort of thing I'd expect to take even Guru a while...

Viz getting the archeology right... Will he throw-in the odd dinosaur fossil holding a placard that says 'No Nukes!'? (*cough* Strata *cough*)

Yes, but insects were taken as samples instead of all of them and can easily be cloned and produced in necessary quantities as they are simple enough. There's no Earth's avatar in this version of Earth since the core of the planet's always been Unicron, funnily enough, what we see in canon is the closest thing the planet would have developed an avatar if magic was more of a thing (because let's be real, magic is a thing in the Transformers-verse).

As for the planet's surface, something will happen about it. I didn't mention it because I felt like it's spoilers, even if it's not that important honestly.

Chapter 136

AFfMB – 136

Everyone in the ship turned when Optimus stepped onto the bridge. More than one standing and saluting, even when the Prime waved them to rest, even some Decepticons.

He walked directly to the two pilots. "Chase, Jetfire," he greeted them, "everything ready for the battle?"

The first turned and saluted. "Sir, it's good to see you still around."

"It's good to see you too, Chase."

"Optimus," the other pilot nodded in a much more casual tone. "All systems in this baby are ready for the battle. Just a question, where can I get a ship like this for myself?"

Optimus and Chase chuckled. "I'm not sure how possible it would be, but their creator's currently piloting that ship." The Prime answered and pointed to the titan currently unloading enough firepower to glass a good piece of a planet's surface.

Jetfire gulped. "Yeah… I think I will pass. No need to bother someone capable of that."

Optimus reserved himself from chuckling at the comment, Guru could be quite a shocking individual if they wanted.

Chase wasn't as reserved, laughing at his partner. "The most important thing is that the ship will help us in this fight."

Optimus nodded. "I don't doubt it will help." He said before walking around, checking on the bots around as the ships started to move.

His system received a message from Athena, announcing all ships were ready. He took a metaphorical breath before requesting to be connected to all ships.

"I'm Optimus Prime, current leader of the Transformers." He spoke to all of them, "We are an old species, created originally by Primus to fight Unicron in a desire to break their stalemate. Since then we've grown past that objective, we had had our own fights and wars, both internal and external."

He could feel Primus' attention even from a distance, it made the Matrix of Leadership feel warm.

"Today we face our race's largest hurdle and ultimate goal." He continued. "Unicron stands in front of us, with corrupted forces and the promise to end everything. But we stand tall, we stand united and with Primus on our side. We will win, we will step onto a larger tomorrow, unshackled by that and ready to become more."

His voice slowly raised. "Today we fight so we can live tomorrow. Till All Are One!" He finished his short speech, feeling how all of the Transformers followed through.

After a few moments a communication screen opened up, showing his current second in command, Megaempress.

"Lovely speech," her tone had some sarcasm, but there was honesty there too. "I can see how you maintained this position and the Autobots' integrity even through some of the harder times."

"I remember Megatron's charisma leading to a more forceful approach."

She sighed. "I can't deny that, the Decepticons have always led with fear and power at the front."

"I'm sure there's plenty of things we can learn from the Decepticons." He tried to be diplomatic.

Megaempress hummed and leaned forward. "Well, there's certainly a few things I wouldn't mind teaching you."

He didn't openly react. "We can talk about it after the fight." He quickly changed the subject. "I hope you survive Megaempress, I greatly believe you can be the kind of leader Megatron never aimed to be."

She started to pout at the first part, but quickly turned stunned by the second. "Oh... I hope you survive too, Optimus." She said and cut off before he could speak again.

He rolled his eyes as another communication window opened, this time it was Elita. "Optimus... you look troubled."

He quickly shook his head. "It's nothing, I was just talking with Megaempress, don't worry."

She glared at him. "Of course I will worry about you interacting with that… Seductress!" She raised her volume and sighed. "Nevermind that, everything is ready on this side. But you already knew that, I just wanted to wish you luck."

"Thank you Elita, and I hope we can see each other after this." He honestly replied.

"Till all are one, Optimus." She said and he quickly returned the phrase before the communication ended.

A third screen opened, thankfully it was just Guru; he had been expecting it.

"Everything is ready, Optimus?"

"Yes, all ships that will be fighting are in place, armed and all Transformers willing to fight are prepared. The rest have evacuated far enough." He answered. "How did the evacuation of Earth go?" He asked.

"Without a hitch. The only humans that were kept awake were Jack, his mother, Miko and Raf."

"Will they be okay?" He prompted. "Also, you did not keep Agent Fowler awake?"

"The kids are more adaptable than you give them credit for. And June's a single mother, she will panic later if it means staying with her son." He said with a small chuckle. "About Fowler… you know well enough he's still a soldier."

Optimus nodded.

"Anyways, I have done my best with the wide beam attack. Unfortunately, it hasn't been as effective as I wanted, it's barely signed Unicron and only those hit full-on by the beam had been vaporized."

"The fact that some were done by it is already a good sign." Optimus said. "I'm sure Megatronus will be happy to hear he can do it too."

Guru laughed. "Yes, yes he will. I won't use the wide beam again, it's too indiscriminate. But I may try controlled and pin-point attacks if the chance presents itself."

Optimus nodded. "I will pass the message."

"We may also try to utilize some other attacks aimed at Unicron if the opportunity reveals itself."

"I would guess they will be exotic in nature?" He asked dryly.

"Hmmm, definitely affecting basic concepts and utilizing higher dimensional math. Unfortunately, I don't believe Unicron can be affected by some of them. Doesn't mean we won't try to give them a bad day."

"Good luck then, Guru."

"You too, Optimus. And as you all say, till all are one." The leader of the Celestial Forge nodded and wished him thanks before disconnecting.

He steeled himself as he watched Unicron and its forces approach. With nothing else to wait for, he ordered the fight to start.

\/AFfMB\/

I easily stopped controlling the light created by the miniature sun and the thousands of Sparks floating around my/our/the titan's head. The open beam of Light was extremely destructive, especially against Unicron's minions. Unfortunately, it seemed that unless they were completely erased, they didn't stop.

That was fun

Sharing a head-space with Dani and Sabbah was interesting.

Your view of reality is very particular, Rick

I hope it's not being too overstimulating, it has taken me some time to get used and filter things.

As I was occupying the coordinating linchpin for the titan body, both of them were looking out through me. And while we're sharing head-space, it wasn't like we had merged mentally, there was just too much dangerous knowledge inside my mind for that. Maybe in the future if I worked out how to properly share some of the safeties I had.

Nothing weirder than what I've observed in the Ghost Zone.

Or in the shadowed corners.

I mentally blinked as I felt confusion shared from Dani.

What?

Nevermind…

We shared a moment of silence before Dani spoke.

We can leave that for later.

I agree. On more current issues, get ready they are coming.

I felt them concentrate as I coordinated between their synchronized wills. I wouldn't lie and say I wasn't basing this on the giant robots from Pacific Rim who utilized multiple pilots working together. It was just in this case the two of them were the pilots and I was the super-computer easing things along.

An interesting detail about coordinating like this was the fact that we're technically pulling a constant Combination Attack. Each move channeled the mix of our three elements in a devastating effect.

Each attack slipped in like water, hardening and expanding into ice as the light and dark elements seared and swallowed.

Even with the Transformer's forces and our own Celestial Forge's forces, the three of us were easily occupying a third of the enemy's forces. That was if you ignored Unicron being like ninety nine point nine percent of the enemy's mass at worst.

On the corner of our perception we could see Primus start to move, the actual titan in this battle moving for the first time after transforming. I wondered if any Transformer was having a religious experience from fighting alongside their creator.

Our weight in this battle wasn't missed. We're fighting a third of the forces because a third of them were actively focusing on us given the level of firepower we were outputting.

Thankfully Primus was large enough to keep Unicron's attention, because his sword had made contact with the Destroyer's body, causing them to release a scream audible even in the void of space.

How did we hear that?

Most likely some of the usual bullshit.

I agree. The shockwave of the scream carried some strange effects on itself.

Sadly just one of those screams wasn't enough of a sample for me to study properly and find out how it worked. But it did mark the change of the battle as Unicron seemed to realize the problem of staying in planet form when Primus' robot form allowed them to fight much more skillfully and maintain the distance.

As Dani and Sabbah guided the battle on our side, I allowed myself to chuckle. This battle was different from the last, now I really felt the connection to what was happening.

\/AFfMB\/

Bulkhead grinned as he gunned down the incoming Terrorcons. Both hands on the controls as his targeting swept through the horde; there were enough of them that no shot missed.

"Primus damn it, Jackie, stop moving this rust bucket so much!" He complained as the fellow Wrecker piloted their vessel.

"Like it makes any difference!" The pilot shouted back from the front of the ship.

The other Wrecker, Oilcan, in the ship laughed. "Come on Bulkhead, too many targets to complain about, keep shooting!"

Bulkhead snorted. "Shut up you bolthead, I bet you were sleeping till you received the message about the fight."

"You shut up!" Oilcan shouted as he turned around from his seat to smack the back of Bulkhead's head, only making the green bot laugh harder.

"What are you doing? Didn't you say there were too many targets to complain about?" Bulkhead joked and laughed harder as the fellow Wrecker huffed and turned around, grabbing the controls and resuming shooting.

The continued shooting in silence for a few minutes till Oilcan cleared his throat.

"...hey Bulkhead, Wheeljack, you two have been with Optimus, right?" He prompted.

"Yup." Bulkhead answered. "I left Cybertron with Optimus and stayed with him during our time on Earth, Wheeljack joined us a bit later."

"So… is he okay in the processor? I mean, it's impressive he beat Megatron. But taking in the rest of the Decepticons?"

Bulkhead sighed. "Don't worry, Optimus is as sane as ever." He said as he continued shooting at the Terrorcons. "I can understand why you would think that. Our time on Earth definitely changed us."

Wheeljack hummed as he added from the front of the ship. "Yup, meeting another race was interesting. Plus the Decepticons ain't so bad when you get to meet them… at least most of them. Even now a lot of them were browbeaten into their ranks."

"But still…" Oilcan tried.

"That's enough." Bulkhead raised his tone. "Believe me when I say you can trust Optimus. He hasn't led us astray yet, and I trust him to make this decision."

"But what about the Decepticons then? What about us the Wreckers?"

There was a beat of silence before both Bulkhead and Wheeljack laughed. "Like we will lack targets." Wheeljack said from the front.

"Don't worry about ending jobless, Oilcan. I doubt everyone will be happy to comply with Optimus, and I'm sure there will be plenty of troublesome bots to teach a lesson."

"That I can believe." Oilcan laughed till he was interrupted by a shockwave hitting the ship.

"What was that?!" Bulkhead screamed.

The shaking soon stopped. "It looks like it was Unicron and they're… oh my god, they can transform too?"

"What the-?" Oilcan ran to the front, soon joined by Bulkhead.

"In hindsight, if Primus could do it, it makes sense he can too, no?" Bulkhead asked, watching the massive monstrosity shift shape into a titanic tyrant.

They watched in silence for a moment till their ship was grazed by a shot from the enemy, Wheeljack swiftly grabbing the controls and taking evasive action.

"Enough gawking, back to shooting you two!" He cried as the two other Wreckers chuckled and ran back.

\/AFfMB\/

"Bring him here!" Ratchet ordered the two bots that entered the infirmary with a third hanging between their arms. "Knockout, stop looking at your shiny and well polished behind and come here, I need a second set of hands and Breakdown's busy!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming." The ex-Decepticon medic rushed to Ratchet's side, helping him strap down the injured Transformer before Ratchet could start fixing him. "I want to point out that I wasn't polishing myself, I was making sure the tools were in order."

"Sure, sure." Ratchet answered offhandedly as he finished the first patch up on the bot before applying one of the Celestial Forge's useful nano-packs.

"I can't get tired of seeing that work." Knockout murmured. "It's like they are magic."

"They aren't." Ratchet pointed as he released the bot and sent him out, just in time for another two patients to come in, accompanied by Breakdown.

Knockout sighed and moved to receive one of the two injured. "We're really not hurting with doctors, no? Sounds ironic." He pointed to the Metaloids currently helping them.

"If you can complain, you can go back to work." Ratchet growled as he was forced to realign the bot's Spark. "And yes, thanks to the Celestial Forge we've plenty of hands, even when most other Cybertronian doctors headed with the city-ships."

"I know, I know. It's not like we're running out of space, thanks to those things we can get everyone to leave their beds as soon as they arrive." He grunted as his partner, Breakdown, helped him with his current procedure. "You unlucky bastard, how did you get your brain processor's connections scrambled like this?"

".it do they before do enemies the what see me help would it me told pal My" The bot fumbled as Knockout put him down to do the quick re-connection.

"Crazy bastard, if I grab the bag of bolts that goes around telling others that…" Knockout grumbled as he worked.

Ratchet stopped by to look over his shoulder. "Uh… nice skills."

"Well, when you have to deal with the assholes on the ship doing stupid shit you learn quickly to fix some weird things." Knockout said. "You wouldn't believe the things I'm experienced in fixing. It helps that no one would cry if I failed." He adds and stiffens.

Ratchet chuckled. "Just make sure they either deserve it or it's really an accident. You can't go back to being careless now." He said darkly. "Can't say I didn't have an accident or two when some nasty piece of work ended up on my table during the war."

Knockout and Breakdown gulped softly as the older doctor's tone.

"Understood." Knockout said before he closed his patient's head case and applied one of the nano-packs to fix the rest of the damage and wake him up. "Next time don't be an idiot. Leave self-modification to those that know." He warned them and allowed Breakdown to drag him out and bring the next patient.

"Good job, I only know two other bots capable of fixing that, and none of them would have managed in just a few minutes." Ratchet praised him.

"Again, it's not the first time I had to fix something like that." Knockout said with a grin on his lips. "And much better than finding two Vehicons having merged into one because Starscream thought it was fun to play with the Landbridge's controls." Ratchet raised an eyebrow at the comment. "I've no idea how it happened, I was just in charge of fixing his mess… just like many other times." He huffed.

Ratchet snorted. "Let's keep this place empty and after the battle we can exchange some anecdotes. I've fixed way too many Wreckers to not have a few amusing ones." He said and moved.

Knockout chuckled and got moving, with the ongoing fight outside he was sure they would get a steady stream of injuries to keep themselves busy for a while.

\/AFfMB\/

Cliffjumper punched the Terrorcon off the opening and blasted two more as two Vehicons were in the process of fixing the breach on the ship.

"How are things on your side, RC?" He asked his partner.

"Busy, especially because they have become even more feral since Unicron transformed." She answered.

He could only agree with her, blasting more of those Terrorcons approaching as he was also extinguishing the electrical fires started by the damage in the breach.

"Thank you, sir." One of the Vehicons spoke after he finished closing one of the smaller holes.

"It's not a problem, don't let the danger distract you, I will be keeping you safe." He reassured them as he watched the area.

He noticed a large seeker approaching, it wasn't hard to recognize Skyquake. Cliffjumper kept himself from reacting, reminding himself they were on the same side now.

"I take the breach is under control?" He prompted.

"Yeah, a few have tried to take advantage of the opening." He answered and added with a grin. "But I've not been a soldier for so long to allow them."

The ex-Decepticon snorted, but before he could speak one of the Vehicons flinched when Cliffjumper shot a Terrorcon that had approached the breach from blow the ship. The startled Vehicon proceeded to mishandle his tool and cause a large section of the electrical installation to reignite.

"Primus-" Cliffjumper growled and quickly took control of the flames, once more draining them of energy till the process just died. "Careful there, we're trying to fix the ship. Not make the job easier for our enemies." He said sarcastically.

The Vehicon quickly apologized and rushed to fix the resulting damage. Cliffjumper turned to Skyquake and shrugged. "It's a job in progress."

"Yes… I've to admit those abilities you were granted are very interesting." Skyquake pointed.

"They're an experience." He said. "Though I will admit, here between you and I, I'm nowhere near close enough to what the members of the Celestial Forge can do."

"How's that? I would have thought a soldier would have mastered a new weapon faster." Skyquake said with a small amount of derision.

Cliffjumper rolled his eyes and maintained an eye on the opening. "Sure, if it was a straightforward weapon, point and shoot is easy." He answered. "From what I picked during the explanation, Power Cores are tools. Or well, full on tool-kits. It takes time and training to learn to use and master every part of it."

Skyquake looked thoughtful about it, so Cliffjumper continued speaking.

"They also require a whole new way of thinking, it's like I've a whole new limb that does something completely different than what I was used to. I've been a soldier for so long that changing my way of thinking will take plenty of work. The time I've had it isn't even a drop of oil in the can."

Skyquake stood silent for a moment before nodding. "...and how would one go about acquiring one?"

Cliffjumper gave them a long look. "You should talk with Guru then. I don't know what he will decide to do, but I'm sure any of the members of their group will just point you to him."

Skyquake nodded.

"Talking about history… how're you guys doing with the whole merging thing?" He asked, highly curious.

"It's… going." He answered slowly. "Not everyone is happy about it as you can guess."

"What about you?" Cliffjumper prompted.

"I… I'm following Megatron's will on the subject. He accepted the duel, even if he may have not considered he could lose… as a warrior, I'm beholden to my word and that of my master." He looked straight into Cliffjumper's eyes. "And right now my master is Optimus Prime."

Cliffjumper nodded. "Then good to have you along, I sure don't want to fight you again, you left me smarting last time." He said with a chuckle as they watched the Vehicons finish the repairs.

Which was quickly followed by an explosion in another part of the ship and an order to take care of it. Cliffjumper just chuckled and wished Skyquake good luck.

"Hopefully we can share some Energon after this." The ex-Decepticon said as the red soldier ran with the Vehicon workers.

My third body was floating further away, mainly just watching the battle from a distance. Unfortunately the synchrony with the girls was too taxing at the moment for me to do more than observe and record the event.

Honestly, my second body was barely keeping up while doing support from the Pocket Realm for those of my kids that were part of the fight.

There was a very interesting dichotomy between being part of the battle and being so disconnected from it. Standing away and in the middle of the battle at the same time wasn't something most could do, at least at the same time.

The battle was going quite well, if I had to say. Primus seemed to be pushing Unicron quite well, the sword I had forged being excellent at keeping the Destroyer at bay and causing serious damage. Primus' counterpart had already lost one of its wings and both of its horns had been damaged.

On the other hand, while Unicron's Terrorcon forces were hard to put down, once properly taken care of, their numbers only decreased.

Meanwhile the Transformers were staying strong. A few had died, yes, it was still a battle and the danger was real. But Ratchet and Knockout were doing an amazing job as medics, plus I had provided a large number of the nano-packs to expedite the healing.

The sudden discharge of the Requiem Blaster aimed at Unicron quite surprised me. Especially as it hit the Destroyer dead-on the left eye to a surprisingly destructive effect. Or maybe not that much, I had watched some of the work Solus had done on the weapon and its output wasn't too far from the beam I had used by channeling the Light from the Titan's head.

There was a sort-of silence in the battle after Megatronus' attack, it was the most damage Unicron had suffered in what went for the battle. A shiver went down my spine as Unicron released another shockwave in what was obviously pure wrath at being damaged by anyone not their opponent.

I could only watch as the Terrorcons fought with even more ferocity. Though as I watched something niggled in the back of my mind. Their actions were being too orderly for such mindless beings.

With Athena informed of the fact, I turned my attention fully to the large flows of battle, trying to do my part and find what was guiding the Terrorcons. It wasn't simple, while the Terrorcons as individuals were as dumb as a rock, in mass they showed a natural primal and feral intelligence.

It didn't help that if they were actually using tactics, it changed randomly enough that no logic was visible. I hoped to find it soon, it was frustrating to be missing the answer just because someone was being too random about it; it felt insulting.

An impressive explosion rattled the battlefield and drew my attention, it looked like Megatronus had found something interesting.

Chapter 137

AFfMB – 137

Megatronus grinned in delight.

He knew asking Solus for more power in exchange of fire rate wasn't the smartest. But seeing Unicron lose an eye to a single attack was worth it.

The gun automatically locked itself into a cooling period, recycling the generated heat back into energy for the next shot. He looked around, drawing his side arm and blasting the head off a few of those pesky Terrorcons. It didn't destroy them completely, but sure was effective to cripple the danger they presented.

He felt the alien sensation of a shiver go through his chassis and swiftly looked around.

Megatronus quickly checked the Requiem Blaster, it still needed about a minute to finish cooling. The process would have been faster somewhere with an actual atmosphere. The void of space was terrible for the transfer of heat, on the other hand it meant more energy was recovered in the process.

"Well, well, well," a very familiar voice reached his ears, making Megatronus stiffen and let out a growl, "and here I thought I made sure you wouldn't be a problem."

He turned slowly, the growl only growing louder as he glared at the source of the voice.

"Liege Maximo, I was pretty sure you were dead." He said as he glared. "But I think the fact that your body was missing from the tombs should have been a clue. I wanted to believe they had just decided that keeping a piece of scrap like your corpse was too much trouble."

"Oh, I was." The traitorous Prime purred, ignoring the insult as the clear signs of Dark Energon bled from his body. "But my new master's boons have brought me back." He said and laughed, his voice maintained an eerie echo.

Megatronus grinned. "Proof that you weren't even good enough to stay dead." He jeered.

Liege growled. "I was good enough to get you to kill Solus Prime." He laughed.

Megatronus felt like growling, except…

He chuckled. "Oh, not really." He grinned and spoke jovially. "She's back, look at the nifty upgrade she gave the Requiem Blaster."

He didn't finish speaking before his helmet closed and his arm brought the cannon up. The weapon had already finished cooling and the small talk had been enough to prepare the next shot.

The beam of concentrated power cut through the distance fast enough that Liege Maximo barely managed to get away from the way. Unfortunately for Megatronus, the quick shot reduced its power as it had lacked the necessary charge time that would have made it obvious.

"Tch, can't even stay still." Megatronus said as he advanced forward.

Liege Maximo growled as all of his body had been marred by the damaging attack, one of his arms nearly completely gone. More of that Dark Energon bleeding heavily from his body.

"And you can't even kill me. Look at Primus' mightiest warrior, failing to kill a dead bot." He laughed as he snatched a passing terrorcon, ripping its arm and sticking to the missing place. The Dark Energon quickly twisting it into shape.

"Don't worry, I'm just looking to take my time and savor this." Megatronus said as he equipped his melee weapon.

His weapon was barely stopped in time by Liege Maximo pulling his own. The corrupted Prime's blade showed obvious signs of the Dark Energon as glowing veins of purple energy coursed through it.

"I'm going to enjoy beating you and then watching Unicron end it all." Liege's tone sounded more and more insane the more he talked.

The pair exchanged a few quick attacks, multi-colored sparks flying away with each impact of their weapons. Blades sweeping above and below, trying to weave through each other's defenses.

Unfortunately for Liege Maximo, even if the corrupted Prime could snatch the passing by Terrorcons to fix itself, it was becoming quite obvious who was the better fighter between the two.

He growled. "It was always like this, you were the best warrior and what was I?! The silver tongued one…"

Megatronus chuckled. "And look how useless it's now, every time you open your mouth is to spout useless dribbles and the obvious signs of your failed ways." He pushed forward.

Liege screamed louder and managed to push Megatronus back by kicking him on the chest. The Prime chuckled and rubbed his armor.

"Nearly felt that." He taunted.

"Feel? Feel?! I will share with you some of the pain I'm feeling right now!" He roared and pushed on the attack once more. The other Prime retreated as he blocked with a constant sneer on his face, even if his armor kept him from showing it.

Megatronus laughed. "Weak."

Liege Maximo glared before grinning. "Let's see who's weak here. If I can't beat you alone…"

As if they had come out of nowhere, suddenly dozens of Terrorcons latched onto Megatronus' body all at once. Fast enough the Prime barely had time to remove one or two before the rest started to hug his body and limbs to keep him from fighting.

"How's that Megatronus? What will the greatest warrior do now against sheer numbers?" Liege Maximo laughed before he started to advance on the immobilized Prime.

"Let me go, you coward!" Megatronus screamed, more Terrorcons piling up on him, making it harder to even move at all.

"Why would I? This is exactly where I want you to be." Liege Maximo laughed. "Coward, coward, coward, that's what you usually called me back then too, no? It was always the same, why are you a coward and not fight? Why it's always lies and tricks?"

Megatronus growled as the corrupted Prime raised his weapon.

"What now? Well, now you say goodby-" Before he could finish speaking, there was a massive THUD and he was sent flying away.

In his place there was now a hammer held by Solus Prime. She was wearing a whole new armor, it was nothing like her old one, the one he had stolen and adapted to herself. This one looked much more battle-ready.

"In the name of Primus, I had forgotten how much you like to listen to the sound of your own voice." She growled and threw something as Megatronus. "Stop gawking already."

A moment later he was free, all the Terrorcons having disintegrated.

"Thanks Solus." He mumbled.

She laughed but said nothing. Instead she glared as Liege Maximo. "I've a serious debt to settle with you, so how about we get you to pay."

Megatronus grinned. "I bet I can make him scream more than you." He told her.

Liege Maximo could only watch in abject fear as the pair of Primes advanced on him.

\/AFfMB\/

Megaempress stalked her prey.

It wasn't like she fully trusted the Celestial Forge. The group had come literally out of nowhere, openly admitting this was not their reality. But had also said Primus themselves had asked for their help.

Though seeing Primus show up like this… It changed her opinion a bit.

That was the only reason she was currently following the order given to her by the one called Athena. Apparently something or someone was actively controlling the Terrorcons and it had to be dealt with.

That she could deal with. She had Judge Pickel, her trusty weapon, recently checked up. And while she didn't trust the Celestial Forge fully, she watched them improve its output by nearly fifty percent by one of their technicians.

"Hehehehe, if it isn't Megaempress," a voice that made her teeth clench reached her ears, "finally gave up on your dear Megatron? Oh right! HE'S DEAD!"

She growled as she turned to look at Megadeath, it took her a moment to understand what exactly she was seeing. The already psychotic con looked so twisted that it was shocking.

"What have you done to yourself, you crazy bucket?" She unconsciously reacted.

The Con had never been the most balanced, and that had always reflected on his body. But even at his worst, Megadeath's body had a logic and was symmetric if you discounted his missing eye.

Now it was a mish-mash of parts, as if his insanity had seeped out and twisted his body, adding armor and spikes all over him. Primus knew how he could still move without tangling himself.

"Don't look at me like that!" He growled. "I've got my master's power coursing through my Spark now!"

"I should have made sure you died in the battle just like Megatron had planned instead of leaving it to the Autobots to clean up the mess you are now." She taunted.

He laughed at her, in his particular unhinged manner. "Oh, it wouldn't have worked." He admitted, giggling between words. "I never joined the battle, I knew old Megadump wanted me dead. But the battle was too useful to not attend, so many bodies!"

Her eyes opened wide. "So that's what happened! I was curious why there were so many missing bodies during the clean up." She looked at the Terrorcons. "But it couldn't have been this many…"

"I've been collecting bodies for Unicron for a loooong time." He laughed at her. "And no one knew, they just saw the crazy Megadeath collecting trophies. And completely missed the fact that all my minions did the same. Body after body, a clash here, a killing there, a destruction too."

"You monster." She growled, it wasn't hard for her to put things in order and realize what Megadeath had been doing.

"Thank you." He practically purred, making her shiver.

She growled louder as her grip on Judge Pickel tightened. "How long? How long have you been a dirty, traitorous con to the Decepticon's ideas?!"

Megadeath grinned, showing more of his mismatched fangs. "From the start!" He laughed. "I never believed in that useless drivel, it was always a means to my end." He admitted. "To bring my master Unicron back and end it all."

She snorted. "Like that will happen. Unicron's going down once and for all." She said and glared at him. "And you're going down with him." She swung her weapon.

Megadeath laughed as he jumped away. "Attacking like that will never reach me." He giggled. "After all I'm Megadeath no longer, you can call me Ultradeath… no! Call me Gigadeath!"

She growled and switched her weapon in cannon mode, unleashing a barrage of highly destructive beams at the pesky and unhinged robot.

"Stay still and accept your end, idiotic pest!" She growled and kept shooting.

"I will show you what kind of pest I can be." He said as Terrorcons started to pile onto him.

Her eyes opened in shock as the mass started to glow in that malevolent purple of Dark Energon as the mass only kept growing larger and larger as more Terrorcons melded into it.

She didn't stop shooting, but any damage she caused was quickly fixed as Terrocons dived into the holes and filled them up.

She didn't want to admit the slight sense of fear she was feeling as the mass took a shape resembling Megadeath, or whatever he wanted to call himself.

"Look at me! This is true power." He laughed, his voice making the area vibrate as more Terrorcons kept adding to the mass. "Now you die!"

He roared and smacked with hands larger than some ships she had flown in. A quick dodge back and the shock wave still sent her flying a few more meters.

While more destructive and resilient, being bigger also made Megadeath a much more obvious target. Enough that close ships had opened fire on the very obvious enemy.

Just as Megaempress was thinking what to do next between dodging and shooting and the beast, four portals opened, allowing her personal guard to come through.

"Mistress!" One of them screamed and opened fire on the target.

"Just in time, girls. Let's show this reject what it's really like to work together!" She called, the four female bots nodded and rushed at her.

Her four guardians quickly shifted forms as she did too, their bodies linking and becoming one. Five became one, larger than the sum of the parts. And it wasn't just them, forming into one also meant they needed a proper weapon.

With Judge Pickel at the center, her guardian's weapons formed a weapon they had come to call Destopia. The impressive blade emanated power.

"Hope you're ready, pest, it's been a while since someone forced us to become Megatronia." She swung her blade and the beast's arm fell off completely severed.

Megadeath roared as more Terrorcons tried to reform the limb. The more of them that joined the beast the most unintelligible its speech became.

"DIE DIE DIE!" It screamed as she swung her blade again and again.

"It doesn't matter how many times you try it, pest. You will never win against a true Decepticon." Megatronia roared and her sword cut the Megadeath mound in half.

There, at the center of the body, was the deformed body of Megadeath, making her grin. "And this is your end." She said and aimed with her off-hand weapon before unloading a cannon shot, erasing the psychotic con out of existence. "Hopefully that will be enough."

Her communicator rang once before connecting. "Thank you for that, the Terrorcon forces are visibly losing cohesion already. The only other leading Terrorcon is currently being dealt by Megatronus and Solus Prime." The familiar voice of Athena said.

"Good to hear," she said and looked up to Unicron, Primus hadn't been idly and the Destroyer was showing it. "It's been a while since I fully exploited this form, I think there's no better target." She grinned and flew up, ready to put her part in bringing him down.

What was that?

Dani's question made part of my attention move away from the now uncoordinated mass of Terrocons. The information collected by my other bodies filtered in.

Looks like Unicron didn't create too many units capable of leading the others. The ones capable have been killed.

It feels almost like I can reach and take control of them now.

I shivered.

Better not, whatever darkness powering those husks is bound to be incredibly evil if it came from Unicron. No need to tempt Murphy.

We felt Sabbah nod as she combined her powers with Dani to swallow a large swathe of the Terrorcons into an inky void sea. Not a speck of them left after the wave passed.

Very impressive, girls.

Thank you.

I wonder, why did Unicron only had two generals?

I thought about it.

Low power? He barely took a few hours since he freed themselves from Earth before the attack.

Or maybe it requires some special quality. It's always the same with these ancient evil beings.

We laughed a bit.

It looks like the situation is mostly in control down here, should we help Primus?

I've an idea if you two would support me.

Always.

Like you have to ask.

I chuckled and took full control of the Titan and flew up to Primus' side, giving the immense being a nod and approaching his hand.

It was downright hilarious just how big it was. Cybertronian's transformation did wacky things to their size between forms. Arcee's robot form was definitely much larger than her bike form, for example.

Primus was a literal planet in one form, the other a giant robot. But not one the size of a planet. That meant our body wasn't a tiny speck compared to his hand.

I will need your help here, Dani, I need you to focus on the slippery quality of water. Sabbah, I need you to focus on the bloating aspect of darkness. I will focus on the destructive quality of light.

Both quickly agreed as I placed our hands on the handle of the sword and started to enchant it. Unfortunately, the sword was too big to enchant permanently like this, and if I had tried to do it from the start it would have lengthened the forging process exponentially.

But it should last for long enough for this.

Our combined energy mixed easily before spreading along the weapon. I carefully guided the lines of tricolored power, drawing complex designs to channel the desired effects. Funnily enough, the design was pretty similar to that of an electric board.

It seemed that our intentions weren't missed by either of the two beings. While Unicron, with his much more damaged body, thinning forces and getting assaulted from all sides started to panic, or the closest thing they allowed themselves to show. Primus poured their might and power behind the enchantment, the whole sword glowing with power to my eyes as the enchantment latched onto it.

We swiftly moved away as Primus got into motion. Their arm raised the mighty weapon at the same time Unicron reached forward to attack, their movement suddenly impaired as Megatronia intercepted their hand, her sword cleaving through the back of that hand deep enough it was barely holding onto the place.

Before Unicron could recover, their still intact eye blew up from Megatronus' Requiem Blaster, the attack helped by Solus Prime.

Unicron could only roar in anger as the sword came down, sealing the Destroyer's fate, cleaving them from head to groin in one powerful attack. The effects of the enchantment visibly spreading like hungry tongues of fire through tinder. It was especially visible as the mix of elements lit the dark being's core and consumed it in a massive explosion. Terrorcons simply fall dead with their master.

The Transformer's forces didn't stop attacking even as the being ended. Whatever inherent protection the being had ended with their life and its form was quickly riddled with holes as no ship stopped unloading their armament till the order was given.

We stood back ready, waiting to see any last trap, trick or fuck-you left over gift.

Thankfully it seemed the attack had been enough, this was good because the enchantments on the sword snapped off and burnt like gossamer near an exposed flame; all of the power had gone into Unicron's body.

Only when Primus let go of the sword and allowed it to shift back into an artificial moon that the battle was considered won. We followed the being's transformation back into a planet by shifting back into a ship and disengaging the synchrony protocols.

The pods opened to allow us out, I had played with the idea of having steam or fog be released in the process. But at the end I had decided there was no need for theatrics.

I slowly rose from the flexible bed I had been laying onto. I honestly didn't remember where I had seen it, but it was basically a pouf couch filled with a viscous substance that held your body in a fake sense of buoyancy, imitating a sense-deprivation chamber.

"So it's done?" Sabbah asked as she was the first to stand up, even if I could see her legs wobbling a bit from reacquainting herself with her body.

"I think so," I answered, I simply sat in place. "I want to run a scrying ritual to be sure. But it should be pretty clear if Unicron's still around, or any object of great relation remains."

Dani floated past us. "Question," we turned to look at her, "completely different stuff, but do you think we could do this without the Titan?"

I opened my mouth to reply and slowly closed it as I thought about it. "...I will have to think about it." I answered. "But in theory, it should be possible," I rubbed my chin thoughtfully, "both of you have a way to possess someone, which could be the trick for the process."

"But let me guess, right now it could be dangerous?" She prompted.

I nodded. "My soul has really stopped changing, and if what my fourth body wrote about, it will go even further once we return home." I explained. "But give me some time, I have been working on how to extend some protections to you two."

They nodded.

"Okay then, let's go, I'm sure there's going to be some celebration. And I still have to rebuild Earth." I added half-jokingly.

\/AFfMB\/

With Primus back to planet form, everyone believed that they had gone back to sleep, unaware that he now walked incognito between them. Only a few knew, and they were all Primes, us and through us all Metaloids, not that any of them would say anything about it.

With Cybertron back to Cybertron, the city-ships that had evacuated returned and the three of them once more deployed on the surface of the planet. This time the three of them settled much farther away for the expected long-term; I doubt anyone wished them to fly ever again.

It was amazing to see how industrious the Cybertronians could be, just hours after the battle had settled they had started with the constructions of not just new cities, but also roads to connect them.

The battlefield would take longer to clean up. Not only was Unicron truly massive, but its body and the husks left weren't so easily dealt with. Right now it was just the Metaloids who were taking care of the resulting hazardous material.

The first thing I had ordered to be taken care of was the being's core, or at least what had remained of it. The attack had dealt massive damage to it, the rest was currently burning, albeit very slowly, in a specially designed incinerator. It had been mostly an experiment, but I was glad to see that I could craft purifying flames.

I was already making a few smaller ones for the kids to take care of the remains of the Destroyer through. It would take time, but it was better than leaving a very obvious dead evil god's corpse around. That's exactly how you get it to revive, or people creating a cult around it.

Liege Maximo and Megadeath, or whatever it decided to call itself at the moment of death, had also been thrown into the purifying fires; in pieces to hasten the process. Once more, no need to take chances.

I was currently working on a way to allow others to create and wield these flames. Most likely for a few of those that remained in this World.

I had talked with Solus, Optimus and Primus about it, the kids that remained would be in charge of hunting the remains and burning them. The last had actually offered to sponsor them in their job. Because I had left it very clear with the kids, this was a job so it meant they had to take proper breaks and take care of themselves. There was no need for them to become zealous about it.

I hoped I wasn't screwing up and leaving this reality with an order of technomagic paladins. Primus promised to look after them and keep them for this reason.

Still, right now there was plenty of celebration to go around, Alchemist had old reserves of Energon been opened and practically all the Cybertronians were wasted as fuck. They took the term drunk driving to a whole new level.

And while Metaloids couldn't get drunk in the same way, it didn't mean they couldn't act the same way to enjoy themselves. Funnily enough this could change in the future given their adaptability, it would never reach the point of incapacitating drunkenness. But they could adapt to enjoy a nice tipsy.

We enjoyed a bit of the celebration, though we didn't partake in the drinking, none of us could consume Energon; outside of my third body.

Still, at the end I had a commitment to finish, Earth was still floating in small pieces and that couldn't stay for too long. There were a few problems that I still needed to solve to do it...

Something shifted nearby and I wasn't the only one to notice it. It only took a moment for Dani and Sabbah to flank me, more than ready to fight whatever threat it was.

"Be not afraid, I come in peace." They spoke with a gentle voice as I made sense of what they had walked out from.

It was some sort of time distortion.

"Greetings." I spoke carefully. "What brings you?"

"I am Vector Prime," they identified themselves, surprising us, "it's good to finally meet you, Guru. I apologize for not being able to help with the plan, but this time period was too turbulent for me to enter until Unicron was dealt with."

We parsed through his words. "Then why approach us now?" Dani prompted.

"First, I wanted to thank you, your actions in this World have brought prosperity past anything you would imagine." He said. "Second, I've come to help you with the recovery of Earth. While I know your abilities are capable of rebuilding the planet, my control over time should help ease a few of the difficulties."

"That… would be useful." I admitted, this could be exactly what I needed.

AFfMB – 136

"I remember Megatro's charisma leading to a more forceful approach."

She sighed. "I can't deny that, the Decepticons have always led with fear and power at the front."

there's a typo in Megatron's name. it's twords the end.
also great speech I really liked it.
