A Deadly Stardust Crusade. {No SV, you can't be JoJo, you're a side character!}

QM ADVICE DOJO 1
While the "super cool gal" trick is indeed super cool, I understood that they wanted to see Megalovania itself (I assume it takes the form of sans), not its ability to throw bones. So could Megalovania be the other object they disappear behind, or something?

Also, does Frisk's mom have a Stand too or something? She certainly reacted to the pun like she saw Hermit Purple.
What kind of bone projection are we capable of?

I was thinking of projecting a skeleton copy beside us and say that we're besides ourselves with joy on meeting new people. Or something along those lines.

HEY! You want info, you earn it in the quest, don't go asking me for it!
I'll let it slide, cuz I'm nice, and give you guys some things for your patronage to the quest.

Frisk's mom may have a stand, but you could just ask her. She would probably say so herself.
All you know about your stand is you can make bones. There is nothing stopping you from trying to make a skeleton.
Also, the bones are not the main function of the stand. What it is, I can't actually tell you yet.
Unique uses can be discovered, and I already have one you will earn later on, no matter what you do.
Others can be found by experimentation, and in certain areas and scenarios.
BTW, this is an actual chance to mess with your Stand here, so try something new. So long as it isn't a hostile action, you can do it.
I need to go update Character Sheet now. Gimme some good stuff to work with here.
-edit-
Gonna call this a QM ADVICE DOJO, and let you guys earn points in the quest through creativity or special accomplishments. Basically, this is the free cookie you get as a reward. Instead of chocolate chip, you get advice cookies.

(I finally woke up. Now I wrote this.)

[X] Cool Trick
-[X] Have bones start scrolling behind you and disappear behind something else.
-[X] Bones spell out "Super Cool Gal!"
--[X] Try to give the bones some color while you're at it.

You focus intently, and bones float out of your back, before spelling out above your head, 'Super Cool Gal', and even manage to make them flash a variety of colors, making it seem like a neon sign. All in all, pretty cool. Both Mr. Joestar and Avdol seem surprised by your ability to control your Stand, while Mom merely smirks. The plane has started to take off at this moment, and so your bones fade away as you release your stand, and settle back into your seat.

As you take off, you decide to start some small talk.

[] Write In.

It was a long flight, but thankfully the plane did not crash. Apparently, that has happened to Mr Joestar twice before, so you were slightly concerned. You are now in New York City, at the home of Mr. Joestar, and have some time for yourself. What do you do with some of your time?

[] Rocky-esque Training Montage (Pick Three)

-[] Practice with weapons. (AKA hang out with Mom)

-[] Practice and Experiment with Stand.

-[] Study Vampire Slaying Techniques. (Play Castlevania)

-[] Physical Exercise. (AKA get tortured by Mom)

-[] Read.

-[] Talk to…
--[] Mr. Joestar.
--[] Avdol.
--[] Dad.

You spent three days in New York, when Mr. Joestar gets a very important phone call.

OMAKE: Smile, By Shape of Fire
Yeah that would be really funny and probably what I'd try to do. Although I figure that Alessi is at least smart enough to avoid fighting the Badass Grandpa.

Meh, Alessi's a coward that likes beating up those weaker than him. If he doesn't know Joseph's past, he might just think that he can beat up the old man with a weak Stand easily, if its just him and not the young muscle. Though he will most likely go for Frisk first.

Also, I finished the omake. It is a bit hastily put together and I didn't find a nice picture to go with it (yet), but I'm posting it now.

****************
Smile

"That's a really big fish!" you exclaim as Jojo sends the shark flying with Star Platinum, saving the girl from a gruesome end and showing everyone that under his grumpy guise is a heart of gold! As expected of the young heir of the Joestar family! Except Jojo insists he is a Kujo… But you're sure he'll come around! You can practically see it now: its a Dark and Stormy night and the battle against the foul vampire has reached its climax. You, Avdul, Kakyoin and Polnareff are keeping the undead armies at bay while Jojo and Mr. Joestar team up against their ancient enemy. The battle is fierce and Jojo is separated from the two by when the roof crumbles under him, leaving Mr. Joestar to face the villain alone. First the vampire's winning, but then Mr. Joestar unleashes the Joestar Family Secret Technique, the Hamon Whip and almost gets Dio, but his old age catches up to him at a crucial moment and the ruthless vampire cuts off his hand and starts draining his blood to heal himself, but Jojo arrives and strikes him away. Mr. Joestar then faints from his wounds and Jojo is overcome with rage, thinking he's dead, and he then embraces his Joestar heritage and uses a legendary Hamon Whip that shines like a second sun and burns all the undead away…!

Wait, you're getting carried away. Back to the present, there was a huge shark! Excitedly you climb on the rigging to get a better view, the sailors are too distracted to stop you this time.

It really is a big one, you bet you could ride it. Mom and Dad might object though, but they're not here…

Suddenly the shark thrashes as its cleaved in two by a scaly hand! You see a vaguely human shaped form with frilly fins appear near the surface before it disappears in the bloody water.

"Aahh! It's a Deep One! Ia Ia, Ctulhu ftagn!" you warn the others, "Terror from the deep! Get out of the water!" You should've listened to your father when he talked about these. Was the Elder sign a star or a tree? There's no time! Its swimming up to Jojo!

Luckily, the others were alert and Kakyoin called his Stand, pulling Jojo and the stowaway up before the Deep One could pull them under.

"Its gone! That must have been a Stand!" Mr. Joestar exclaims, eying the water carefully. Ah, of course it's a Stand! Mom said those books were not real. There are no fishmen, or cultists.

"I've never heard of an underwater Stand before," Avdul mutters, before turning to the stowaway, "but this girl…"

"You think she could be the Stand user?" Polnareff asks and turns to the girl who still hasn't caught her breath from the sudden trip through the air. Jojo has already made some space between himself and her. You eye her distrustfully. She doesn't look very threatening, more like a wet dog.

"Perhaps she jumped into the water knowing Jojo would try to save her?" Kakyoin muses. You admit that is a possibility. Jojo's Star Platinum is a very strong Stand, it would be ideal to face it somewhere advantageous. She could have really hurt him with an ambush…!

"What's your problem?! Staring at me like that, I don't know what's going on or what you want from me, but if it's a fight you want," the girl pulls a small pocketknife from the pocket of her overalls and waves it threateningly, "then come on! One-on-one! I'll fight any of you!"

You glance at the others. They seem to be unsure of how to continue. Is she an enemy? You can't really tell. She is suspicious, but not in a vampire minion kind of way. But you can't be sure.

The situation is getting tense and just before you are about to do anything, Avdul decides to ask her how's Dio doing. You understand he's trying to get the girl to talk so that she may let slip something inscriminating, but it doesn't seem to work and finally Polnareff just yells at the girl to stop playing dumb.

"I don't know what you are talking about! You wanna talk or fight?!" the girl yells back and licks the blade of his knife, "My demon knife is thirsting for the blood of its 340th victim!"

Well, if nobody's going to do anything, then you must. Nobody will hurt your friends.

Letting out a laugh you jump down from the rigging, landing with a small thud between the other and the girl, Megalovania at the ready.

"Knife? That's not a knife" you reach for the sheath on your back, "This is a knife!" You declare and slam the knife Mom gave you on to the railing. If you were Jojo you might have broken the rail with that slash, but since you aren't as strong as the Joestar heir you barely made a chip on the wood.

Combined with coming from a ten year old girl, it would have been a really ineffectual threat, but you accompanied it with a special SMILE, the one your friends from before called the Creepy Face.

"AHHHH!" the girl recoils, almost stabbing herself with the knife.

"Pfffft!" You hear Kakyoin snort behind you, "I don't think she's the Stand user Frisk." He's probably right. You didn't even use Megalovania to have a skeleton do anything!

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" A sudden voice booms. As a muscled form casts its shadow over you. It occurs to you that hitting the railing with a knife probably wasn't the best of ideas.

Plan Blast Hardcheese won.
Also, only Shape of Fire voted about the small talk, so.. I guess I will just make that the winner.

[X] Talk about Stands.
-[X] What exactly is a Stand? Why did they ask if we could see one?
--[X] Tips on how to use a Stand.

"A stand is a manifestation of your innate fighting spirit, and represents your inner psyche. They take on many different forms, and even animals can have one. Avdol once met a dog Stand User in New York." Avdol seems to be amused by that, and nods at your questioning glance.

"But why would you ask if I could see one? Couldn't anyone see them?"

"Ah, the thing is that only other Stand Users can see Stands, making it look like ESP or spectral activity. Most normal people don't have a chance in a straight up fight between Stand Users, and many Stand Users use complex strategies and schemes in their fights anyway. My stand is admittedly weak, but in my youth, Hermit Purple was incredibly helpful with my fighting techniques." Wait, but if only other Stand Users can see Stands, then...

"MOM, YOU HAVE A STAND?!?!" Your mother leans back in her seat, relaxed completely as you stare at her in shock.

"Took you long enough. You take too much after your father." She holds out her arm, and snaps her fingers, causing a handful of flowers to appear. She then crushes them into her hands, causing them disappear from view. But when she opens her hands again, she was holding a deck of cards.

"But wait, that's just your magic tricks Mom!" You glare at her, but only manage to pout cutely.

"No, that is my Stand, White Rabbit." A cute bunny plush appears floating above your mother's chair.

"I can store anything I touch in an unlimited pocket space inside the rabbit, even my own body. It made a lot of the jobs I did before the Speedwagon Foundation hired me a lot easier. However, I lack any capability to attack with it besides launching things at high speeds." Wow... that is so cool! She has super inventory! You always did wonder where she hides all her guns if they weren't in the house. Also, Mom's stand is really cute. You open your mouth to say so, but are on the receiving end of one of her blank stares, which are incredibly intimidating.

"I know what you are thinking. Don't." You make a nervous gulp, and quickly change subjects.

"So, any cool tips for my Stand?" Mr. Joestar cups his chin, and Avdol crosses his arms. And they both shrug.

"Not really. The only thing you can do is experiment, and see what you can do. That was how we all did it." Wow, so incredibly useful. Mom apparently thinks the same way, judging by her face.

"Don't worry Frisk, most men are useless with their brains anyway. I can help you figure out your stand when we land." Both Avdol and Mr. Joestar look mildly offended by that statement.

------ Day 1 in New York ------
You decided to spend your first day in New York with Mom, learning how to use the overly large knife properly.
(The ONLY free stuff you get is in this chapter, everything else you need to make the correct choices for.
{STATUS PAGE UNLOCKED}

{SPECIAL OPTION UNLOCKED: Kettei Training Method - Your mother, Toriel Kettei, was a master of combat before she was twenty thanks to these methods, and she has taught you the same way she learned. Through overcoming great challenges via sheer DETERMINATION! You can master skills sooner if you train with you mother's guidance.}

{SKILL UNLOCKED: DETERMINATION - Unique skill passed through the Kettei Bloodline, you never give up, even in the face of impossible odds. Death cannot faze you, and most injuries will not slow you down. Until you hit 1 HP, you cannot be knocked out or crippled in battle, and most poisons or other status effects can be ignored until then.}

First by learning how to swing it with the least effort and most amount of force, then you end up fending off Mom as she attacks you with a machete. Good times.

{SKILL UNLOCKED: Knife Mastery - You know your way around knives, and most small cutting and stabbing implements. you now have a higher chance of hitting and doing damage on most attacks.}

Then when she seems satisfied with that, she gives you some regular sized kitchen knives, and you practice throwing them. At soda cans your mom was throwing at you.

{SKILL UNLOCKED: Knife Throwing - You can throw knives at targets and be very accurate. You now have a higher chance of success on most throws.}

Finally, when training is over, Mom buys you some food, and you go back to the Joestars'.

----- Day 2 in New York -----
You spend the day training with your mother, and gain some stamina and strength.

{STR increased by 2, STA increased by 3.}

----- Day 3 in New York -----
(was hoping you guys didn't try to learn Hamon so soon. Damn.)
You spend the day talking to Mr. Joestar, and have an interesting conversation about how he had fought vampires in his youth, using a technique called Hamon. You ask for a demostration, and he shows you through his Stand, Hermit Purple. It also leads to an interesting discovery, as your bones seem to be able to channel Hamon, though it usually causes them to explode violently if charged too much. According to Mr. Joestar's theory, as bones create blood, they can be charged with Hamon similar to liquids, and is how they can channel Hamon. It also explains why Hamon Overdrive techniques usually involve direct contact with the target. The bones in the human body can be super-charged with Hamon, along with blood, providing a very powerful effect. And your stand seems to create natural bones.

You are too weak to use Hamon yourself, but with Mr. Joestar's help, you can create exploding bones. Maybe one day, you could use Hamon yourself, but not right now.

{LINK-POWER FOR STAND ACQUIRED: Hamon Bone Explosion! - With Mr. Joestar's aid, you can create powerful attacks using Hamon to super-charge the bones made by your stand, and cause them to violently explode after a few seconds. Useful against both vampires and normal people.}

{SKILL ACQUIRED: Hamon Potential: Maybe, one day, you could learn Hamon, if you really practiced breathing hard.}

----- Day 3 in New York, 9:00 P.M. -----
Mr. Joestar receives an interesting call from his daughter, Holly Kujo, who lives in Japan. Apparently, her son has gotten in a bit of trouble, and Mr. Joestar believes it to be he was awakening his stand, and he is worried if it could happen to Holly as well. Stands can kill their User, according to Avdol, if they do not have the innate fighting spirit to handle it. Thus you, Avdol, Mr. Joestar, and Mom all take a plane to Japan, whilst your Dad stays with Mrs. Joestar, who was a very nice lady, if very enthusiastic even in her age. There was a very tearful goodbye, as your Dad literally sobbed into your Mom's jacket, who was looking very exasperated about it. Your Dad is kinda silly sometimes. Scratch that, he is very silly and emotional, all the time. Very much in contrast to Mom's always cool and collected attitude. You wonder how they met, but that is probably a question for another time.

Whilst on the plane, what do you talk about?

[] Write In

Once you arrive in Japan, what did you do?

[] Meet Jotaro and Holly at the prison with Mr. Joestar and Avdol.
[] Wait for Mr. Joestar and Avdol to return with Jotaro and Holly.

1.10
[X] Ask Avdul about the dog Stand user.
-[X] What kind of Stand? What tricks? Did Avdul use magic (he's a magician, right?)? What happened to the dog?

"You met a dog who was a Stand User? THAT IS SO COOL." Your imagination goes wild, and proceeds to make you think of a husky with a stand that looks like a dog knight, fighting villains every Saturday morning at 9:00. It takes a few moments to recover from this amount of sheer coolness. You had defeated yourself with awesomeness.

"So, what was the dog's Stand?"

"It seemed to made of sand, which was incredibly hard to damage normally. I had to glass the surface of the Stand to actually catch the dog itself, as it keep making shells of sand to protect itself, and then escaped whilst I was trying to burn through the shell. It was a challenging fight, as the dog was surprisingly intelligent."

"Wait, so you used your secret magic skills? I knew you were a magician, but I didn't think you specialized in fire magic. This is good to know." You gesture toward Mom with one hand, causing her to sigh and hand you a bright blue notebook. It has your name on the front. You open it and proceed to write down the important information in Avdol's character page.

{FRISK'S IMPORTANT NOTEBOOK DESCRIBING ESTABLISHED COMPLEX STUFF : INDEXs - You store information that might be important later in here. Information on Stand Users, their Stands, and all sorts of other stuff. Basically, this tells you what you know in-game. If you think it is important, then write-in that you wrote it down, and it shall be added to the INDEXs, along with stuff the QM will update on their own. Anyone who sees the notebook will consider it incredibly well-written and informative for a 10 year old.}

{Mom Page Added to INDEXs. Mr. Joestar Page added to INDEXs. Avdol Page added to INDEXs.}

"Avdol is a fire using magician." You nod sagely as you finish writing in the INDEX. Everyone except your mom make amused faces.

[X] Meet Jotaro and Holly at the prison with Mr. Joestar and Avdol.

You arrived at the local police station, because apparently, Jotaro wasn't actually in jail. And here you thought you were gonna have to do a prison break. Nope, all you get to do is pick him up from the station. You wonder what he did to get sent there in the first place. Mr. Joestar and Avdol went ahead of you whilst you were daydreaming the dramatic prison break, which ended prematurely by your stomach rumbling.

"Hungry, huh? And here I was thinking you were gonna stare off into the distance forever." Mom teases you with a smirk. Luckily, there are some vending machines over to the right.

What do you buy? Don't worry, Mom is paying.
(Pick anything, and how much you want of it. Limit of up to 2 of each boosting item, and 3 per health item. You can store more, once you get storage space upgrades. And keeping everything in Mom's Stand is not an option, as if she dies or isn't nearby, you don't have access to any of it.)

[] Snack Options
-[] DOORITO - Cookies shaped like doors. Boosts SPD for a short time by 5
-[] PREZ-TEL - An American Food, it sports crackers shaped like Presidents. Boosts STR for a short time by 5
-[] CLOWNFISH - Cheesy crackers shaped like clownfish. Boosts FIN for a short time by 5
-[] BRRAAAIINNS - Cookies in the shape of a brain. Boost INT for a short time by 5.

-[] COATED CHIPS - To go bowl of a cereal brand, who's mascot is a lion. They taste really good. Restores 5 HP.
-[] STRAWBERRY MILK - Mmmmm. Delicious, and nutritious. Restores 10 HP.

Meanwhile, Mr. Joestar and Avdol come out from the back of the station, with a woman who must be Holly, and a young man with a rather intimidating appearance. You can feel your nervousness acting up right now. Mr. Joestar and Avdol were easy to talk to, their faces were rather friendly, and their personalities easy to get along with. But this guy...

He radiated a feeling you only felt once in your life before, and that was with DIO. Pure, raw, powerful fear coursed through your body, immobilizing it. You couldn't even move. Your grip on your mom's hand tightened, and your other hand clenched into a fist. This guy... was dangerous....

{SKILL UNLOCKED: Spidey*COUGH* Danger Sense E Rank - You can feel danger, whether from people, the area, or even incoming threats. At E Rank, you can identify the most dangerous person nearby, but that is about it.}

Wat do?
(FIRST ROLL SCENARIO OF THE GAME! These rolls will be against scores. Roll under your current Stat Score to succeed. If you successfully identify an option's roll against score, or ORAS, I will confirm it, reveal it in the post. If you reveal all ORAS, I will grant you however many QM DOJO points per ORAS option, and make the success rate higher for each of the ORAS. Or you can try your luck, and just vote. Only one guess on each of the ORAS per person.)

[] Repress feelings of danger. Predators can smell your fear, and can taste your distress. It makes them hungry. (END, STA)
-[] Don't talk to him until you know you won't piss him off. Just smile and wave.
--[] Instead, Greet the very friendly looking woman walking with Mr. Joestar.
[] Get brave, overcome feelings of danger, and confront the source. Walk right up to Goliath, eh David? (???, FIN)
-[] Give friendly Greeting. Pretend you are comfortable in his presence.
OR
-[] Go for intimidation, you are the tiger in the jungle, the lion in the plains!
[] Cower in fear behind Mom. If your lucky, you could just pass off as shy without offending the lion. (???)
-[] Adapt to his presence slowly. If he is with Mr. Joestar and Avdol, then he is Jotaro, and you will need to get used to it.
