Running down the dark alley, you sped through the dark streets of Cairo.
You should have listened to your mother when she said not to be out after dark. You had barely dodged that strange man's tentacles.
The blond stranger had such a strong presence it had almost immobilized you, but with the aid of your strange power, you had blocked the attack.
Who knows what would have happened to you had it actually hit you... Panting heavily, you reach a intersection and look around sharply.
No one was currently out right now, but you recognized this place.
Going right would lead straight to your house. How lucky, but you could be followed.
Going left led further into Cairo, you could probably lose the blond man quickly.
Going Straight, you can just keep running. Probably will find someone eventually who can help.

[] Go Right, to your home
[] Go Left, try to lose them
[] Go Straight, just keep running

[X] Go Straight, Just keep Running.

You move forward, straight across the street, and run as quickly as possible. That strange blond man, you can still hear him following you somewhat. You don't have the knowledge to lose him in the backstreets and still get out safely, and going home would just endanger your family. You just need to keep running, at least until you can find someone capable of helping you. Another burst of speed, and you sprint down the streets of Cairo, wind rustling your clothes and hair. You run for what seems like hours, always hearing the faint sound of footsteps behind you, barely stopping to catch your breath. Speeding round a corner, you spy a large man opening the store of his shop, which seems to be a Fortune Teller, judging by the sign. You open your mouth and scream out at him, continuing on a straight course for him

"HEEEY! MISTER!" The large man turns to you just as you slam right into him, causing him to drop his things, and you get knocked to the floor. On one hand, you can't hear that strange man's footsteps chasing you anymore. The large man looks down at you, with a faintly amused face. He seems rather patient, and willing to hear you out.

"Yes, little girl? What is it you need?" You take a few seconds to catch your breath, and look around the surrounding area, searching for the blond man that had been following you. You then try to explain the situation the only way you know how.

"OHMYGODTHEREWASTHISSCARYBLONDGUYANDHEWASGOINGSTABMEWITHTHISTENTACLETHINGANDYAGOTTAHELPMEHEWASFOLLOWINGMEANDNOWHEISNTAND---" The large man cuts you off with a raised hand, his face looking even more amused now.

"Why don't you step instead, calm down, and try explaining that again over some tea?" You think deeply about this, even going into the thinking whilst standing pose. Mom told you not to trust strangers, but this one seems a lot more friendly and less serial-killing then the last one. And you have a sixth sense for dangerous individuals. So you'll…

[] Accept the man's offer.

[] Say your mom told you not to trust strangers.

[] Decline, and keep running.

[X] Say your mom told you not to trust strangers.

"Sorry, my mom told me not to trust strangers." You can't be too careful these days. You should probably just walk away no--

"Well, my name is Avdol, what is yours?" Oh, your mom taught you also be polite. That is rather important, so you should introduce yourself.

"Kettei Frisk, Mr. Avdol." Ok there, you were polite to Mr. Avdol, you should probably get back to running away from the scary blond guy now..

"Well, you know my name, and now I know yours, thus we are no longer strangers. Now, Ms. Kettei, would you like some tea?" He has a very good point there. Tea it is, then. You were getting thirsty from all that running, anyway. You follow Mr. Avdol into the fortune teller shop, only to encounter the same heavy atmosphere as when you met the blond man. AND THERE HE IS! He seems to be opening his mouth, but you react first.

"OH GOD, IT IS THE SCARY GUY AGAIN!" And then Mr. Avdol drops his stuff again, scooping you up and dives out the window just in time to dodge on the Scary Man's tentacles. And then he books it down the street, bringing you with him. Sprinting down the street, in the opposite direction you came in, he immediately goes back to the intersection you were at previously, and enters the maze that is Cairo.

He seems to know where he is going, so you focus on keeping an eye out for the blond man, but he seems to lost you a while ago. After several solid minutes of running, Avdol finally comes to stop, having re-emerged back onto the main streets of Cairo. He plants you back on the ground, and looks around sharply, before breathing a sigh of relief. You decide to confirm victory.

"I am pretty sure we lost him. Nice running there, Mr. Avdol." Also, you have no idea where you are, so while it might be safe to go home, you are severely lost without a map. This presents a problem. Avdol catches your attention again.

"We need to keep moving, Ms. Kettei. I know a safe place near here, where we can wait until morning. Please follow me, Dio is still out there looking for us." Hmm? Is Dio the name of the guy who was chasing you? This bears further investigation, later. But for now, what will you do?

[] Head home. Cairo can't be that big, and Mom must be worried about you.

[] Go with Avdol. Seems to be a good guy, if he ran from that Dio fellow.

[] Try to get Avdol to bring you back home. You are lost, afterall.

{WRITING THIS AT 6 AM! COMMITMENT! POSTED AT 7:30! MORE COMMITMENT!}

[X] Go with Avdol. Seems to be a good guy, if he ran from that Dio fellow.
-[X] Also, yeah, no way in hell you're going to lead him back to Mom.

"I can't lead that Dio guy back home, so I guess I will go with you." Avdol smiles gently at you, and takes the lead. You follow him closely, and constantly looking around for Dio. After several minutes, the two of you arrive at a small motel. How is this safe? Anyone could come looking for you here.

Avdol goes straight past the registering for a room building, and instead heads to the rooms themselves. Stopping at Room 204, he proceeds to knock very loudly on the door. The door opens very slowly, with a creaking sound, to reveal…

AN OLD MAN! Who looks really tired. Kinda looks like your grandpa when he wakes up in the morning. All grumpy and worn out. His face almost looks like he is wearing glasses of some sort, but it is just the lines of his face.

"Oh my god… It's almost three in the morning Avdol, what do you want?" The yawning old guy leans against the doorframe, and glances at you slightly before returning his stare to Avdol.

"Mr. Joestar, sorry to disturb you so early in the morning, but I must bring something very important to your attention. May we come inside?" The Joestar guy looks rather surprised, and beckons the both of forward into the motel room, locking the door behind him. Then he takes in your rather serious faces and straightens up from his slightly relaxed posture.

"Ah, is this young girl a Stand User, Avdol?" The heck is a Stand User?

"Possibly, but that wasn't what this is about. Both she and I saw DIO, and barely escaped. He is somewhere in Cairo, searching for us. We need to leave." Joestar's jaw drops, bounces off the floor, and reattaches as he recovers from Avdol statement. This Dio guy must be a big deal. Joestar turns sharply, grabbing a hat from nearby, and turns back, his face looking incredible serious.

"Get me to a payphone."

----

Twenty minutes later, you find yourself inside a van from some people from the Speedwagon Foundation. Funny, you are pretty sure that's the name of the company Dad works for. He leaves his business cards lying around the house a lot.

Mr. Joestar and Avdol are in the back with you, and this is a perfect chance to figure out what is going on.

PESTER THE ADULTS! (Pick three)

[] What is a Stand User? Am I one?

[] WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON HERE?!

[] Hey, my dad works for a company named Speedwagon Foundation too.

[] Who was that Dio guy? He was creepy.

[X] Hey, my dad works for a company named Speedwagon Foundation too.
[X] Who was that Dio guy? He was creepy.
[X] Tell Bad Jokes.

As the van sped down the streets of Cairo, its destination currently unknown, you decide to make some small talk.

"Hey, this van is owned by a Speedwagon Foundation, right?" At Mr. Joestar's nod, you continue. "That's funny, my dad works for a Speedwagon Foundation too! Except he's a plane pilot. That's why we're in Cairo. He said something about 'Stupid Joestars and their damn adventures' when I asked him why we were moving."

Mr. Joestar looked really uncomfortable right then, and Avdol was covering his coughing, so you decide to change the subject.

"Hey, who was that DIO guy? Seemed really creepy." Both of them now look extremely serious, and Mr. Joestar begins to talk.

"DIO is, well, a vampire. A old vampire, and an enemy of the Joestar line. My grandfather had been believed to have killed him, but he has somehow survived. Possibly by stealing my grandfather's body." Huh, evil vampire. And his name starts with a D, and a family fights him over generations... You snap your fingers dramatically.

"SO THIS IS WHOLE SCENARIO IS A RIPOFF OF CASTLEVANIA!" You cross your arms, and nod decisively. You were so glad your parents bought you that game for your seventh birthday. "All we need is an anti-vampire whip, and the youngest of the Joestar line! Then we go on a journey through an expansive building to hunt down and slay the vampire in his lair."

Looking at Mr. Joestar, who seems to be shocked by your stunning conclusion, you point at him with a serious pose.

"We need the magic whip, Mr. Joestar!" And then Mr. Joestar begins laughing uncontrollably. And you were really serious about this. This could possibly save lives. Avdol points something important out whilst Mr. Joestar tries to recover.

"Ms. Kettei, that was a video game. This is real life." Avdol has a very good point. You pull out large bone and gesture with it, whilst leaning back in your seat.

"Welp, guess we're BONED." Both Mr. Joestar and Avdol stare at you, shocked. Mr. Joestar speaks first.

"WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?" You only take a few seconds to respond.

"Oh this? Its my funny BONE. Makes people laugh." Both of them stare at you, before Mr. Joestar looks at Avdol.

"So the girl has a stand?"

"I believe so, Mr. Joestar. It would explain why DIO was after her." Mr. Joestar looks at you, before leaning back in his seat.

"Where do you get those bones from?" Hmmm... where do they come from? Oh, you know!

"My SKELETON. Where else do bones come from?" Both of them palm their faces.

The van screeches to a halt, and you all clamber out the car. In front of you is a plane waiting on the runway. You see Dad on the runway, standing next to the boarding ramp for the plane. He appears to be checking his watch, and waiting for someone. You proceed to walk up to him and say hello. From behind him.

"Oh hey Dad, how's it going?" As per usual, Dad jumps about five feet in the air before turning sharply around.

"FRISK?!!? What are you doing here?"

[] Explain the only way you know how.

"Okay, repeat that, but slowly this ti--" Mr. Joestar walked up, his face very serious.

"We don't have time for this, Mr. Kettei. We need to be leaving now. I assume your wife is on board already?" Oh, this must have been what Mr. Joestar had been talking about on the payphone. Wow, that was quick.

"Yes, she has been messing with the UV lights and guns for several minutes now, sir. Frisk, go talk to your mother for a bit, okay?" Oooh, secret code for Adult Talk. Plus, Mom was cool when she was talking about guns. Like, super cool.

You rush up the boarding ramp of the plane, and catch your mom in the middle of checking one of her guns, a unlit cigarette in her mouth.

Not a crossover. Just using this one for appearance.

Where Chara gets her genes from.

"Hey Mom, what are you messing with?" Your mother turns her head slightly to glance at you over her shoulder, her face forming a gentle smile. She places the large bulky looking gun down in the suitcase she had opened in front of her.

"Nothing dear. Would you like something to eat?" You restrain your shudders as best you can. Mom's food was great, if you liked tasting nothing even if it looks good. She still catches it, and chuckles.

"Don't worry, I didn't make it this time. It's just some store-bought sandwiches from the airport."

Whilst munching on food, what do you do?

[] Stay silent. You trust your parents to explain what is going on in due time.
[] Ask what is going on here. You are completely lost.

After a few minutes, Mr. Joestar, Avdol, and your father board the plane. Your father goes up to the cockpit, whilst Avdol and Mr. Joestar take seats across from you. As the plane takes off, Mr. Joestar asks a very important question.

"So, Frisk, can you see something around my arm right now?" He brings his arm out, and suddenly purple vines sprout from it, wrapping around his arm as he holds it up for you to see.

[] OH MY GOD!

[X] Ask about the weapon Mom was messing with. It looked really damn cool.

"Hey mom, what was that thing you were messing with? Looked cool." The gun in question was still out, and seemed to be of similar shape to an old WW2 era rifle, only cut down to be handheld. The whole thing was made of metal, and you could see what seemed to be rifle bullets with red casing lying around it. The exit of the barrel was also slightly widened, like a blunderbuss. Basically, it looked really damn cool. Mom raised an eyebrow at you as she slowly put the gun properly into the suitcase.

"You aren't touching any guns like this. Not yet at least. I have something much more simple for you." WAIT, YOU GET A WEAPON?! She did take you to the range sometimes, but she never actually let you have one! Tonight wasn't all bad after all!

"Here. Something you to start with. Nice and simple." She handed you a large kitchen knife. In your small child hands, it was more like a short sword. It looked cool, but it was simply an over-sized knife.

{ITEM GET! OVERLY LARGE KITCHEN KNIFE!}

Your disappointment must have been easy to see, as Mom chuckled at you, patting you on the head, and ruffling your hair.

"We all start somewhere."

[X]Bad Joke
-[X]"Mr. Joestar! That looks like a real THORN in your side!"

Mom, Avdol, and Mr. Joestar all stared at you, before Mr. Joestar bursts out laughing. Mom simply palms her face, mumbling under her breath 'too much like her father', and Avdol groans in pain. Mr. Joestar slowly recovers, before speaking again.

"So, you can see HERMIT PURPLE, then?" You nod. "That is a stand, and only other stand users can see them. Which means you have a stand as well. Please show me it."

How do you show off your stand?
