Voting for the 2019-2020 Community Council has begun! You have the rules. You have the candidates! You have their statements!

Who will you vote to represent you for the next year?



Things to keep in mind:

1. You can vote for as many, or as few, of the candidates as you like.
2. The poll will remain open for one week.
3. You can change your vote up to the time of the poll closing.
4. Only the 9 members of the 2018-2019 Council who receive the most votes can be elected again. With @Cadis not running and @Datcord and @shinaobi moving to staff, that means that only nine of these people can be re-elected: @Artificial Girl, @Blazinghand, @Chloe Sullivan, @Estro, @FBH, @Hykal94, @Jackie, @Leila Hann, @NothingNow, and @Susano.

I'm voting for a lot of people this election, almost eighteen. I'm not so crazy as to write up a bit explaining every single person I'm voting for and why. (Well, not so crazy as to do it again this time.) But while I'm not crazy, I'm not not crazy either, so some highlights;

I'm overjoyed @Redshirt Army is running, and if I had to vote for just one person it would be him. He's smart, friendly, respectful, and all-around great Councillor material. @Cetashwayo, on the other hand, is perhaps the single most overqualified person in this election, and it's almost a fact that he'd be a good councilor. @The Laurent has been an active poster in just about every part of SV I've seen, and has made me respect and like them with every post they make.

@Blazinghand, @Hykal94, @NothingNow, @Artificial Girl, and @Estro are all returning Councillors, and everything I've seen has convinced me they'll be amazing if they serve for another term. All of the incumbents would be fine on the council, but these five especially have impressed me.

@BanTheFairyKing, @Pawn Lelouch, @Evenstar, @keios, and @Vindictus are all people I'd like to see on the council, for a variety of different reasons. Please, do vote for all of them.

But most importantly, vote for me, Lord Chungus! My two Walls Of Text can be found here and here, if you want to read the finer points of my platform. But TL;DR, vote for Chungus if you want a friendly, approachable Councillor who will strive to increase communication and transparency and work every day to make SV a better place.
