Irrationally, Hizashi died because Hinata got herself kidnaped. And Baiko died trying to scout for the useless heiress.
Making the link Branch House members dieing for Main Brach, and Hinata specifically, isn't hard.

IIRC Luna has a huge Domain that can be summed up as "anything not officially covered by someone else", including Possibilities.
So the only things I can think of that would be "outside of Luna's remit in some way" would be Sorcery, Supernatural Martial Arts, and Charms belonging to other splats.

Most of those things would fall under horror, yes. Some SMAs would probably fall under heroine tho, depending on the style.

Think of the remit thing as more a meta hint than a literal one.

Hinata obviously has enviable potential, but a lot of her ability will stem from her experiences. If she gets punched in the face a lot sooner or later facepunching is not going to be very effective against her and so on.

Problem here is it'd influence the vote.

I'd prefer people pick based on what kind of story they want to read than the powers they necessarily want. If you promise to keep it to yourself I can elaborate, but, for this vote at least, you won't be allowed to discuss it with others. So, PM me if you're interested enough.

I'm going with practicality over flash here. I'd really like to see what's up with the dagger, and the other two moves seem much better. However, Silver Carnival Omnidexterity not being obvious and having an indefinite duration is super useful. The intrigue isn't where I'd want to go, but it's a major plot hook we can't ignore. Especially with how Hinata was acting during this chapter.

With Sudden Snap-Shadow's price increase, getting Hinata, this expands her combat repetoire more while being lower price. Kaiten is likely her best bet for a perfect defense before she can get a perfect soak from favouring Stamina, and the two complement each other.

I think this tack will work better, and will make Jiraiya think the best of Hinata even if he still won't tell her.

Increasing her combat ability before she fights Gaara is important, so the Heroine path seems best for now.

This charm seems focused on letting a single strike through, regardless of how perceptive your opponent is.

The entire point of Jyuken is that a single strike is crippling, if not deadly.

Even discounted the explicit counter to Gaara, the syngergy is fantastic.

(Also, Gaara's sand acts completely independent of him. If it works on that, it could work on other reflexive/automatic abilities- like, say, Obito's special brand of bullshit.)

To which I changed in the later post. Lighting hand prestidigitation is for bypassing automatic defenses by being sneaky.
