The blessings of the Silence protect our flesh from that which would seek to mar it. What threat do mere mortals pose?

Also, did you forget our powers? We don't have any related to killing, sure, but breaking their minds will suffice if it comes to that.

I hope you are right, but it's not something I would want to count on.
