Nah. No more than boosting our Combat Arts would improve our Hierro.

I want to get Perception up to Veteran because that's standard for Fraccion, which implies it'd let us deal with the presence of Espada more easily - in non-extreme circumstances, at least. It also means we can at least see what those three specialties are like.

But extreme circumstances, aka the espada trying to sneak up on us, are the ones we need to worry about. And increased control does indeed have an effect on the mental impact, if not the imagery.

Would've preferred Sonido or Control but Marana and Medicine are cool. Not interested in upping Perception for a long time, I really like the imagery and it's super expensive to upgrade unfavored skills.

Alectai's vote probably sealed the Meditation and Marana victory. I don't even know, I gave up trying to double-check my hand tally at some point.

The really annoying bit is that Plan Cloth & Control also allocated 225 XP on Marana, so that caused some overlap on counting the Meditation and Marana votes. Again, it didn't help that the former voted for 475 xp on Reiatsu Control while the latter for 475 xp on Reiatsu Perception.

@Omicron I suggest that XP allocation votes in the future must be put under a spoilered Vote plan, and anything else just gets ignored.

Didn't actually look at XP distribution, just went by plan name. Wouldn't it be paradoxical if the plan with marana in the title didn't actually level it up? :p

Sewing work and Meditation and Marana appear to be the winners.

That is not all that vote did. That vote meant that Nemo would spend more time with Esmeralda than the other options and pick that option as her coping mechanism to deal with Hueco Mundo's crap. It was not mere xp allocation. We were voting for narrative effects where you seem to only see the mechanical effects.
 
I imagine that spiritual beings don't. It doesn't make sense for plus spirits or base hollows, and it doesn't seem like something that one regains through ascending the ranks of hollowdom.
 
Why wouldn't it make sense for pluses? Those who don't eat wouldn't poop, obviously, but the spiritually strong ones that need to eat, wouldn't they need to poop?

If they were made of matter and powered by chemical reactions sure. But they are made of energy and are extracting spiritual energy directly from the food. It's possible the food is broken down entirely into spirit particles and then absorbed, or that any waste is expelled as a form of energy. Though it could go either way, so if you have an omake idea that involves a bathroom go for it.

It was revealed early on in this game that the mindless Gillians we see in canon are being used as a food source. How Aizen keeps everyone fed in actual Bleach canon is unknown.
