[] Anything for a few days, you said? (Affair, permanent residence, ???)
-One the one hand, this is most likely a signposted bad end. On the other had those question marks.
[] A-Alright, you can stay, you can stay! (Allow the huntsman to stay for another few months, ???)
-I'd like to take this option, but past experiences have led me to the belief that the middle road never ends well. On the flip side, the question marks.
[] I... I shouldn't. (10% chance of horrible failure, 30% chance of failure, 50% chance of success, 10% chance of huge success, he will probably leave immediately, ???)
-This one seems like the obvious choice, however, we know that this is probably the Stormcaller or a chosen faithful if it turns out that Religion isn't bullshit here. If that is the case then we have a 40% chance of getting smited for daring to oppose the will of a god. However this comes after everyone and their second cousin spreads a rumor that we are the Stormcallers daughter, this puts us in an interesting position as again, if the gods are real then this is most likely the Stormcaller, calling our bluff, after all we never actually tried to stop the rumors.
Also, I feel that I have to play devils advocate here, It says in the OP that in the Age Of Grimm there are no chances of success. Thus either @Powerofmind is trying to scare us off this choice, which has failed miserably by the way, or this is his way of signposting a trap.
It is a classic hunting technique after all, place an obvious trap in one direction and the prey will run into the real trap in the other direction.
Or it could be that this is yet another rendition of the old adage "The only way to win at gambling is to not play at all" IF this is the case then the right choice is is the middle one to let him stay a few months, however to that we also have the bit of wisdom that "if you give an inch, they'll take a mile".
In the end I can only tip my hat to you Power and call you a bastard, well done.
This is one of very few cases where I'll present you with some flat chances in-quest.

*Paranoia Vision active* He said flat chances, does he mean those are the unmodified chances, or that those are the chances after any possible modifier? He also said SOME chances not that those are the actual chances of failure/success.
Conclusion: Still tipping hat to Power, Power is still a bastard.
[X] Female name - Helen
[X] Male name - Antilochus
We're already named after an ancient Greek princess, so might as well keep the trend going.
Still not sure what to do with the Huntsman, tell him to leave or let him stay for few months. Have to think about it more.

Urgh. I am ordinarily risk averse and would pick the middle option but we regularly get awful traits for being wishy-washy or backing down or any other stupid thing, so...risk it I guess.
"No! I won't have it!" you blurt out, surprising both of you.
The huntsman nods his assent sombrely. "I see. My apologies for causing you trouble, then," he says with a lazy bow of his head. "I'll be on my way, I suppose."
You breath easier once he leaves your line of sight. Over the course of the next two months, whatever lingering misfortune he seems to cause still affects you and yours. Of everyone, only Polybia seems to meet with any semblance of success with Agamedes, who offers some assurance that he'll be keeping a closer eye on Ailus for the next few years himself given the revelation of his conspiracy.
As reports trickle in from the countryside, you sigh. Apparently many of the huntsmen have fallen mildly ill, just enough to defuse their powerful auras, and Dephis cannot stem the rising tide alone. And then other reports appear, of a nameless huntsman with roguish charms and incredible power. Local mayors and village heads whose good sense you are familiar with give increasingly fantastical statements as to the prey the man hunts. Usra nests, Grand Nevermore, a Goliath. All single-handedly, all with not so much as a by-your-leave as he ensures the kill and wanders off to the next hamlet.
It is not long before Dephis returns, unable to even find nests to clear or grimm to hunt. Just who was that man?
((Grimm set to 0/10, gained 1 Morale: Now 0))
You are not without some final problems in the closing months, however. Sedea sends word that the Rising Dragon Kingdom is waging a war of attrition across the Lantian sea, and she requests your aid however you deem it possible.
Furthermore, Ailus seems not to have learned his lesson the first time, and you have intercepted multiple well-worded missives with other members of the league to have you expelled outright. You will need to prepare to defend yourself at the next Forum.

I would like to specify that you failed literally every check but Polybia's that turn, through no fuckery or efforts by me. The huntsman was just a convenient scapegoat.

Opinion of you: (3 of 10) San-do is a Mistralan foreigner who arrived in your court seeking asylum from one of the small ingress-cities of the Mistral Ruins. She bears some loyalty to you, though it is expressed rather strangely.
Known other opinions: Liri is known to be a capable leader in war and peace, but has some issues with the bordering Nishian Republic. Liri has expressed some upset at Ailus' actions.
Known Traits-
Just (+3 Stewardship, +2 Diplomacy, -2 Intrigue)
Opinion of you: (4 of 10) Agamedes is appalled on your behalf for Ailus' actions, and is willing to side with you if things sour further. Known other opinions: Agamedes seems furious with Ailus for his actions. You have heard he has placed crippling restrictions on Moran traders.
It'll come up as a special note in the turn, but Clear Lands are extremely likely to benefit from random events that target the demesne directly. They also have a very tiny chance of free-upgrading demesne improvements.

You have two beautiful new babies, Sophia and Ion. Twins. (+10 Prestige)
Despite the difficulties you had last season, things are not so bad that you are backed into a corner. Ailus will surely call for your removal from the League at this year's Forum, but you have friends among the royals. Sedea requests aid in a war against a distant neighbor, but ultimately she would likely be content to have your men guard her shores while she turns her full effort to naval warfare and amphibious invasion.
The grimm of Letum have been utterly decimated through unknowable means. The longer this state of being continues, the happier and more prosperous your people will become. (Grimm Annihilated: 0/10)
LETUM BONUS MODIFIER: Clear Lands - Prosperity events are extremely likely to trigger. +50% Tax Modifier, +50% Dust Modifier, +50% Food Modifier. +5 Prestige/turn this condition persists.

This is otherwise same as Spectrum's plan, but instead of patrolling lands, I'd have our Hunters improve the training of their apprentices since Grimm are so low right now.
