She got jobbed by a hollow at the very beginning of the series and couldn't even keep Ichigo restrained. So no, not really.
That was as much her fault as ours. But the problem here is that she's the one wanting a fight.
She also needs to be knocked down a few pegs so she doesn't get herself killed like Kaine did.

-Rukia reaction(Insult Zangetsu) - Fault Rukia.
-Ichigo reaction(Insult height) - Fault Ichigo.
At this point it's Ichigo's fault, but Zangetsu will never let us live it down if we just let this tiny child insult him(though to be fair getting ass kicked by a little girl or losing a drinking contest would earn derision as well).

An argument can be that she should have been able to either better explain that she can handle it better because her weapon was made specifically for the job, or that she should have been strong enough to be able to restrain him properly.
If she is supposedly strong enough not to get jobbed, she should have finished the fight in one attack.
Need to erase the previous vote else it will be counted too.

You completely ignored the part where I said this can't possibly be Ichigo's first time drinking didn't you. Just because it was not seen in canon does not mean it does not exist here. And given how Ichigo knew the tips of an experienced drinker, and already knew he liked that stand...yeah, I'd say we can rule out him having never drunk before.
