Also, you completely missed my posts on why I voted the way I did. Ichigo and Zangetsu are one in the same, and expecting Zangetsu to obey in a situation that Ichigo would have chafed under is not a realistic expectation. Furthermore, you also missed the point that I further went on to make being that we can then go on to slowly introduce being sealed for increasingly large amounts of time to Zangetsu so that he wouldn't bitch and moan about it as much as he would otherwise.
Zanpakutou Spirits can mess with a shinigami and their power if they do not fully respect their wielder, Renji is the best example of that. So I introduced the above compromise as way to help with later votes.

Also, many other Zanpaktou are prideful but you don't see any other shinigami having theirs in Shikai the entire fucking time. And you know what poor control leads to? Definitely not a one year graduation!
Getting him used to being sealed after having him unsealed for half a year? News flash. It'd be harder to do so. We've had him for a month. One single month. He's probably not even used to being in a sword!
You want to let him out? That's what SPARS are for and TRAINING in Shikai.

You are ignoring the fact that all those with that perfect control had at the very least decades of experience with their Zanpakutou, or the fact that we have never seen a shinigami that is not Ichigo achieve their shikai in canon and therefore we have no clue as to whether or the perfect control that the shinigami talk about is inherit or if they all had to go through a training period in order to not only use it, but to get used to their Zanpakutou's Quirks.
Take Shunsui and Katen Kyoukotsu, he has stated that he cannot control the games she chooses to play when released, and this is coming from a senior Captain. That leads to one questioning how much control did he actually have when he first achieved the Initial Release.
