Sure, let's be nice to the healers. Hopefully they'll understand that our refusal to join their squad is because of our desire to see the living world and not because we dislike the idea of becoming a ghost medic inherently.

Shinigami are regularly stationed in the Human World. Shinigami stay in the Human World for a set period. Rukia Kuchiki was officially stationed in Karakura Town for one month, though she actually stayed for much longer than this. There is only one Shinigami stationed in Karakura Town at a time. On occasion, groups of students from the Shin'ō Academy are sent to the Human World to gain experience in the duties they will have to perform when they become full-fledged Shinigami, an example being the soul burial practice conducted by Shūhei Hisagi, Izuru Kira, Renji Abarai, and Momo Hinamori. Members of the Onmitsukidō are known to have visited the Human World, capturing images of Ichigo Kurosaki injuring a Menos Grande. So i must say Onmitsukidō does have missions in the human world.
 
Guys, please, remember that Squad 4 doesn't get to go out into the World of the Living as much as the other Squads. It's why we want to get into Squad 13. Joining Squad 4 is not something we should aim to do for the simple reason that it'll be a long time - years possibly - before Ichigo gets to see his sisters again.

I always liked the idea of Ichigo being a doctor, but Ichigo wants to go back to Karakura, for that he would need high-level connections. So IC decision it is.

Yeah, the black-ops ninja scouts are sent to do recon on giant masses of hollows suddenly appearing. Where's the explicit support for the "many missions" bit?

This isn't about joining Squad 4. This option allows you to get a broader looking at the inner workings of SS. See some of the organizaion and maybe build connections. Also the chance to pick up some medical techniques.

Also, Squad 10 or 13 is what I am thinking of right now.

Hmm.... In light of that, I think I'll stick to my original vote because while the reasoning is more agreeable than what I thought it was, I'd still prefer to fight some fools.

The Onmitsukidō and the second division are not the same thing. Totally different branches of soul society.

And once again, 2nd division is a terrible match for Ichigo. They do evil shit, Ichigo is not into evil shit, disagreement there is the sort of thing that would get him executed.

10 does not teach him something extra as much i like Toshiro he is least experienced captain and 13 got ukitake but he is ill most of the time so he can not focus on training Ichigo. I want him to learn from a division that focuses on hard work and expect a certain standard from its officers. That's why 2 and 11 best option, the problem is 11th far too focused on sword fight and that's why i choose 2, soi-Feng is a supreme taskmaster. They are linked to Onmitsukidō and they cultivate far more versatility among its officers. Information gathering, assassination, stealth and sabotage etc and they highly focus on hand to hand combat and speed, that's why is said we can benefit far more if we join the 2nd division.

First of all are highly interconnected, They got 5 subdivision, Ichigo can join any subdivision he wants and he can cultivate his skills and then transfer to another division. look at kisuke's example.

Executive Militia - The first branch of the Onmitsukidō. It is ranked the highest of the five branches in the division. The Executive Militia carries out missions that involve combat. They specialize in the unarmed combat technique known as Hakuda and is able to operate silently and in secrecy. Their main duty is to carry out missions requiring the use of force.Their responsibilities include punishment and assassination of ex-comrades who break the law and acting as scouts during battle against Hollows.

Patrol Corps - The second branch of the Onmitsukidō. Intelligence gathering within the Seireitei. Their appearances are unknown in order to preserve confidentiality. Specifically, they are assigned mainly to the Seireitei area and gathers data on uprisings. In the event of those under house arrest escaping they also are tasked with finding and apprehending them.

Detention Unit - The third branch of the Onmitsukidō. The Detention Unit is responsible for the imprisonment and supervision of all criminals within the Seireitei. They also have another duty known as Special Detention, which concerns those who joined the Gotei 13 but were judged to be a danger to their fellow Shinigami. They investigate, apprehend, and keep these individuals sealed away from the rest of Soul Society within the Special Underground Detention Facility, aka. the Nest of Maggots. It should be noted that those few who are kept in the Maggots' Nest have not actually committed any crime but have been identified by the laws of Soul Society as "Dangerous Elements". This unit acts somewhat similar to a prison and mental rehabilitation center.

Inner Court Troop The fifth branch of the Onmitsukidō. The Inner Court Troop serves as the information transmission unit within the Seireitei. A special ops unit that is mobilized whenever a mission is urgent and requires secrecy. Many of its members are masters of Shunpo.
