Winter is Coming: House Stark Quest

Dodged a bullet there, Sansa.

You're welcome.

Joking aside...that's another region tied to the Starks by family connections or through connections via some of their more loyal bannerman. The Manderlys have ties with Tarly in the Reach. Riverlands, Vale, North, all have family ties (or will soon in the case of the Vale). The Stormlands/Crownlands are the royal demesne.

That leaves the Westerlands and Dorne...wait...

It leaves the Westerlands. Edmure's marrying Alysanne Lefford, but the Golden Tooth will become part of the Riverlands.

I'm sure someone has shipped Arya and Tyrion before but I've never actually seen it happen! Of course as King of Westeros you could name Tommen Heir to the Westerlands if you wanted to give your sister her own blonde abomination of incest.

Isn't Tyrion infertile? Is there any significant movement in the Westerlands to supplant the Imp and replace him with Kevan Lannister?

Kevan is currently considered Tyrion's heir, with his eldest twin Martyn the likely next Lord of Casterly Rock given Lancel's status as a Black Brother. There are people unhappy with the dwarf being in charge, but nobody ballsy enough to challenge the Demon of Oldstones, particularly when Kevan seems exhausted and interested in little more than advising his nephew and enjoying the quiet company of his family.

As for Tyrion's fertility, no comment. Droman made him sterile in ADOTN but that's a different continuity. There's a fan theory which suggests Lanna in Braavos (the daughter of the Sailor's Wife) is his and another which says the same about Penny and her brother. Neither are true in this case, but it is possible that Tyrion's whores use moon tea afterward or dump their bastards on the steps of a Sept like so many unwanted children.

Tyrion here hasn't made any moves to seek a wife yet, in part because he's still getting into the swing of things and consolidating his power, in part because he's now a chooser not a beggar, and in part because he isn't sure he wants to force some young girl to marry a malformed man who betrayed his brother and father. He'd likely accept your word on who his heir is in the mean time.

[] The Westerlands will see to themselves. Broken as they are you have no need of guaranteeing their loyalty.
[] Tyrion's likely successor is his cousin Martyn, a boy close to Sansa's age. Betrothing him to Arya would bind the West more strongly to your House.
[] As King you have the power to legitimize whoever you please. Tommen is a sweet boy whatever his parentage and a betrothal to Arya would provide you with a malleable and easily led heir of the West.
[] Tommen is not the only surviving child of Jaime and Cersei, however. Wed Myrcella to Bran and see your eldest brother named Heir to the West.
[] Tyrion's heir is his own to choose or make, but a betrothal between your Houses could strengthen your reign. Perhaps Ser Kevan's daughter Janei to your brother Bran?

I really think we shouldn't trap Arya into a betrothal or marriage - the girl, while not crazy right now, has some seriously fucked up potential and we need a dead noble + scandal less than the Night King needs a sauna.

Ummm, it was never stated either way. we specifically sent away the dude that was on guard with Dacey, that sounds like we were inviting Dacey in for the fun.
Yeah, because he refused to take up the lordship of Dorne, and we were about to negotiate the matter with the new arrivals.

Besides, the other two options were 'send Arianne away and make Ned the ruler of Dorne' and 'send Ned away and make Arianne the ruler of Dorne and send Dacey away to fuck her'. I thought the middle option would be 'send Ned away and make Arianne the ruler of Dorne but keep Dacey around to not fuck her'. Otherwise what even is the point of the Dacey subvote?

Nobody's sleeping with Dacey Mormont except her fiance. She stayed to keep the Dornish from getting up to anything sinister like poisoned naughty bits or hidden daggers or honeytrapping the King on the Iron Throne for political points and the potential of a useful royal bastard.
See? This is what I assumed was the case...
FUUUU.....:mad::(:cry:

Tyrion probably isn't infertile. His actor has achondroplasia, which doesn't affect fertility. Women with achondroplasia can have pregnancy complications due to having small pelvises, but Tyrion's a man and his sperm production should be normal. Since achondroplasia is autosomal dominant, each child Tyrion had would have a 50% chance of being born with achondroplasia.

Truly, Tryion is in a difficult spot and is attempting to consolidate his rule. If we impose an heir on him, it'd weaken him in the eyes of his vassals even further who are currently salty that he threw out his relatives.

Bran is crippled and it's uncertain if he can even... fulfill his husband-ly duties in the future.

Let at least some of the Stark kids marry for love. Maybe he and the abomination of incest will hit it off. :p
