Unfortunately it sounds like what you are looking for is more along the lines of the Man and Beast difficulty, where everything was more narrative. Sure, there'd still be fight scenes, but greater care would have been taken to the actual story rather than the combat.
Here, on Angels and Demons, combat is a fairly important aspect of the reality you live in now.

I should clarify: Fights are awesome. Fight SCENES bore me.
The combat itself is fine. I love seeing the dice rolls, even if I skim everything surrounding them. Seeing a nat 1 or a nat 100 or a bare success/failure can be more exciting than reading about how someone manages to dodge out of the way of an arrow by a hair's breadth, because it's quantified and obvious exactly how close you were to failure or how well you succeeded.
It also allows players to make better informed choices, since depending on your strength or speed or magical prowess we may decide to do something, and that makes it incredibly engaging.
What I tend to dislike/skim is heavy descriptions of combat. The choreography. The exact movements of various characters as they perform doubtless badass feats which are effectively white squiggles on a black screen for all I care. A simple 'he deftly escaped his pursuers and hid in a cart) is much more engaging than a two-paragraph description of someone throwing sand in his opponent's eyes, barely dodging a swipe in his direction, pushing one pursuer into the blind pursuer, and hiding in the confusion.
Again, though, this is just me, and I'm probably in the minority.

I left the third one blank since I don't really know what to vote for, there. I'd actually vote to ask for something after getting the first two questions answered if possible - asking 'why do I have these powers' can imply some things so that we don't have to ask 'why did you pursue me', while asking how to best protect our family takes agency away from us, sorta. We shouldn't ask for advice from a random weirdo that talks to us in our dreams.
As for the stats:
Since we get a *2 bonus (or +100% bonus) for intelligence, I vote we increase that at least by one. Play to our strengths, maximize the benefit of each stat point, y'know? It's also important since if we're intelligent Elsa might have a better handle of her own strength, or at least how to not do stupid things that might get her family killed while practicing her powers.
At the same time, I think increasing magic (which is our most most important stat) needs to be prioritized, since I doubt we'll ever get strength or even dex up to a point where they can protect us better than magic can. Just keep increasing magic until we're so munchkin'd out that nobody will be able to get past us.
The weather thing I'm voting for because it can be useful to society. Assuming we're eventually able to graduate to making it rain or removing snow/hail, we could improve farming prospects. And I'm sure there's other stuff we could do. It's weather, it's such a large thing to influence that I think it's the best thing we can improve on a level up!
