Bleach: Derailed

Are you serious? Just look at them:

Yeah, all your image links are broken and even on linkthrough I'm not q sure what point you're trying to make.

Because gin are one of the few people I like in bleach

He's an interesting character!

From a distance.

I'm baffled as to why anyone would think getting involved with him a good idea.

-"Why am I signed up for calligraphy and haiku workshops once a day?" You ask the aged woman at the counter, to answer which she shrugs. "The captain believes that philosophy, art, and appreciation for

appreciation for trolling clearly

waste of our time

-"than simple zanjutsu. Kido at the least, destructive and otherwise, perhaps barriers- " Takako lays out options you'd only glanced over at blistering speed, timidity vanished under the ever growing mass

Looks like Takako is going to be awesome study friend.

100% behind ichigo getting a broader skillset

-"want to get into class 1 as quickly as possible, your best bet is to stand out in some way. You've got a unique-looking zanpakuto, so I think that might be your best bet. Load up on zanjutsu classes and"

default ichigo swording route. dullllll

This is hilarious. Let's do it.

I express my complete bafflement that anyone thinks getting even tangentially involved with Gin is in any way a good idea

HAhahahahaha, i wonder what will happen if he is slotted to 4th Divison?

Graduates aren't slotted to a division.

Depending on performance and skills they may receive offers from multiple squads, and then they are free as to which one they choose to go for.

[X] Go into class two.
Edit: Last Time we got close to Aizen in a Bleach Quest the fire was never put out.
I want to see Ichigo reach the end on his own talents.

[X] Take Gin's Offer

Gin wants Aizen dead. And he'd be a nice friend to have.

Also, Ichigo needs to learn some patience. Calligraphy will help with that.

[X] Accept Takako's offer.

Calligraphy is boring and useless. Learning wizard powers will power us up faster.

Y'all are aware of who teaches the Calligraphy class, and are just playing coy, right?

I feel it prudent to put a reminder that Aizen teaches the calligraphy class. (edit: ninja'd subtly)

[X] Take Gin's Offer

Aizen has definitely taken notice of us so it's in our interest to take notice of Aizen. It's simply logical. :V

That kind of convinces me further to not go with Gin's offer, personally. I don't want to deal with Aizen's COMPLETE HYPNOSIS yet because we saw his zanpakuto in class.

Gin wants Aizen dead.

This is true. But irrelevant.

And he'd be a nice friend to have.

Because of this. Gin has exactly and only one friend, said friend being the literal only thing he cares about.

Gin's canon plan was to have Aizen's plan succeed so he'd have a chance to kill him when he finally, finally dropped his guard. (Because he doesn't actually care about the repercussions of Aizen's plan or who will suffer or be killed)

Going along with Gin in any capacity will make it easier for the destruction of literally everything Ichigo cares about.

Stay Away From Gin.

Stay Away From Aizen.

But I want to spanner his schemes!

A good start to that would be not going along with his schemes.

We will see it anyway, he always demonstrate his fake shikai to class (or is this fanon?)

fanon

Ultimately, Gin is being played by Aizen, maybe not as much as Aizen thinks, but still enough that it hardly matters vis a vi Ichigo. Gin will not protect Ichigo from being mindwhammied by Aizen. Further more, attempting to throw spanners in the works of Aizen are going to fail on their face because of two reasons

1) Aizen already knows about Ichigo in the broadest sense. Now that Ichigo is in Soul Society, Aizen has the court and the ball, and there's not really a good way to go against him without suicidal stupidity or metagame cheese. Getting to know him is just encouraging us to become Hinamori.
2)Metagame cheese is at least as likely to kill Ichigo as to actually work, the GM can always cheat harder than the players.

I mean sure ultimately we're going to end up working for Aizen because that's just how Bleach Quests always seem to go. But I'd rather not go running to it with open arms. The longer we can do our own thing is more time for us to maybe get to the point where we can help when things become a total shit show.

From memory, Aizen intentionally chose not to show Ichigo Kyoka Suigetsu because Ichigo was supposed to challenge him and allow him to test the full reach of his power. Hypnotising him would've made any fight with him extremely easy and he'd be unable to find out the full extent of his own power.
