Winter is Coming: House Stark Quest

[X] Edric Dayne will make a fine Lord of Dorne with the Martells broken. Pressing his (nonexistent) claim would shift power away from the Rhoynar. Perhaps a marriage to Arya could work as well, for he seems a decent enough lad.
[X] Send word to Storm's End and awaken the men. Shireen Baratheon is Queen of Westeros now.

If @Shapeless Phobos puts his roll bonus on it and Tyene thinks it was Stannis instead of Robb that wanted to kill Oberyn, we could probably make this work for us. She'd be pissed at Stannis, not Robb, and she'd be able to legitimize her child and put them on the throne; that's more than she'd ever have expected, and it means she doesn't have Robb as an enemy.

This could work guys.

[X] The Prince of Dorne is an old and sickly man. Write to his daughter and ask for her compliance and surrender. With her wed to a man of your choice and any other claimants removed, Dorne could be secured. Or perhaps a different sort of arrangement could be made if you met her face to face.
[X] There are moments where your choice is all that matters. You have won Stannis' victories and you are betrothed to his only daughter. The men will support you. Do not be afraid to leap. Take the throne.

We possess Quentyn, IIRC and Arianne was always paranoid about being usurped by him. If we can guarantee her rightful inheritance, she might go for it. Once married, Robb would be Shireen's de facto regent until she reached majority anyway. We should solidify our power and make it official and permanent while we have the chance.

Hmm. If this is the case, then maybe we should say fuck the Yronwoods and put someone else in charge. They did utterly fail to deliver, and we've likely got better options available.

Also, we totally captured Tyene Sand. Putting a bastard of a bastard of a Martell on the throne would keep Dorne internally-focused for awhile, which would probably be good for us in the future. Might be worth looking into.

Actually, you know what? Yeah, let's do that. The Martells suck, they've been a thorn in the side of the Iron Throne since forever. And Dorne kinda sucks too; let's keep them squabbling with themselves so they don't get ideas about meddling in other realms for awhile.

[] Plan Securing the Throne
-[] Fuck it. Try to seduce the sexy blonde and name your bastard the Lord of Sunspear.
-[] Send word to Storm's End and awaken the men. Shireen Baratheon is Queen of Westeros now.

And what might Robb's bride-to-be, the Queen, have to say about her future husband's bastard ruling Dorne?

[X] Lady Yronwood has been recovered by Lord Tarly. With her betrothal canceled, she is heir to your promise to her father. She may not know that, but she would make a fine puppet ruler and could be wed to a man of your choosing to secure her and her children's loyalty.

Or she kills Shireen to try and take the queen consort crown while also getting revenge on Stannis by killing his only child and ending his line, while plotting to kill Robb and be queen regent for their kid (if she doesnt just do a Cersei for laughs and its not even Robb's).

That's not even plausible, you're just fear-mongering by saying that.

[X] Sleep with the hot blonde chick and Arianne Martell. Whichever one bears our child first will have their kid inherit the throne of Sunspear and the Lord Paramountship of Dorne. The other will of course be kept, with her mother, as wards/captives of the Crown (to be used should the other family start shit up again! Always nice to have a spare dynasty with claims under your thumb to keep things under control!)

Giving the Yronwoods Dorne all but confirms we had a deal with them to those that suspect. And Anders couldn't even do his job right. Why reward them for failure?

Edric Dayne doesn't have an actual claim, and we can't be sure if the Dayne that does actually wants it.

Arianne is mentioned to have had a crush on her uncle. I doubt she'd be very loyal to Rob and she's not smart enough to not cause any trouble. In canon she tried to crown Myrcella queen just to cause a civil war to avenge Oberyn's death.

We should try to seek peace with Dorne, not even Aegon could conquer them and he had dragons. Let´s avoid a very costly campaign in which our armies will be subjected to a nightmarish guerrilla warfare, and let´s focus in the FAegon
Meeting the Dornish face to face.... that worked out so well for the last king to try it.

Ignore Dorne, we need to crush Aegon first.

That's why I'm voting for the path that causes the most upheaval in Dorne. We can leave them to thrash about in their desert while we go deal with the parts of the realm that aren't full of sand assholes.

I want to plant another stark (even if it's a bastard) in another LP. Let's do this.

This isn't going to win, but it should. Plus, the leading vote involves not banging Arianne. I can't support that.

Robb is gonna be a King in the south now. We should slowly alter his morality because he needs to learn how to survive in the pit of vipers. He should still be honourable, just pragmatic enough so that he is not an unbending idiot whose honour gets him killed.

Having a Queen inherit the throne has a bad precedent in Westeros and can lead to men defecting or rebelling. Also, fuck that King-Consort business. There is no precedent for it in Westeros. Starks will be Kings in Westeros now, the Baratheon line is ended.

We need an LP of Dorne whom we can trust. I don't trust any of the Martells, neither do I trust Darkstar.

It's a shame that Jon Snu is on the Wall. Bran is going to marry a Manderly (and become Prince of WInterfell), Rickon is going to marry a Frey (and we really should insist on making him lord of Harrenhall, or else carve out some demesne for him in the Reach or West), Sansa will be lady of the Vale. That leaves Dorne and the Reach unattached.

Actually could we marry Arya to Tommen and make him Tyrion's heir?
