[X] Try and force him down, but don't kill him. Use rocks, waves, anything.
-[X] Move the fight. He's controlling shadows, so a good start is NOT being in a dark place where he can do his shadow bullshit.

Vote is going to stay for another day, or two.

As for the vote right now, all I can say in keep talking, discussing, arguing, because this vote will shape a lot of things going forward.

We could try making him talk. As in, trying to understand why he is doing what he's doing. Sure, he's insane on first glance, but our buddy would be a bad hero if he always went with first impressions. Not saying he isn't insane, but learning to talk while or before fighting always sounds good.
No idea what to say though.

I mean, talking is nice and all, but he's already drawn blood, we need to take action.

The thing about our power set is that it goes from zero to lethal VERY quickly. I mean for the love of Contessa we just shoved Rebecca down an alley way with little effort. I'd rather not kill our first villain after working our way up as a pacifist. It sets a bad precedent as a hero if we start murdering every time we get in a sticky situation.

On a side note what vial's would the other members of the group have ended up with if we took theirs?

Depends on what vial was taken. If Alex had chosen one of the cannon powersets for the original Triumvirate, the remaining members would of had their powers randomized from the remaining vials. So they could have ended up with any of them.

Honestly, the best outcome would have been Matthew ending up with Eidolon's power.

And now I want to know all of the possibilities.

Just as an aside, if I would have had to chosen between these power sets, I would have rolled a dice and used that information to chose. Well, starting from the top.

Had Alex gotten Legend's powerset, Matthew had the chance to end up with either Alexandria's power (Which basically would have made him Superman in every sense of the word), The traveler shard, acceleration control or the High Priest.

Had You received Alexandria's vial, Rebecca could have ended up with the density shift, Legend's power, Emotion Control, or the High Priest.

If you did end up with the high priest, David could have ended up with any of the vials. Or none of them, but you chose an origin that didn't effect him.

As a final word of note, the results are in. The vote is closed and you guys are going to strain the crazy hand man. With rocks, and everything you can manage.

On the one hand you took my advice so now Alex isn't going to be an extremely traumatized mess because he just smashed all the concepts he lives by to kill a man. On the other hand, now someone with gravity powers who lacks fine control is about to try and force someone to the ground and throw objects at them at sufficient velocity.

Looks like IKN was right about SV competence.

I guess you could say, we haven't seen the gravity of the situation yet:ogles:

... ok first thing's first, I laughed at this.

But as much as I'd like to say this is harmless, this isn't. I did warn the thread that this is going to be a big moment going forward.

You won't kill, but that's not going to be much comfort to Alex.

I say this, however:

Looks like IKN was right about SV competence.

Bit harsh man, bit harsh. The intent to do the right thing is there, please don't ignore it.

Hey, at least the vote and voters intended to try to take the guy alive instead of going straight for the kill.
