Wish I'd gotten there earlier, I love quests with conceptual mechanics.
Wonder what Truth/Lie would have done.

Illusions and perception of reality mostly. As well as being able to decide if something is real or not.

Also Development and Stasis is all about growing and advancing things or halting progress. It is not the most direct of paradigms but can be fairly widespread in its application.

Stasis can be freezing time or imposing a limit to civilization.

Development can be letting life arise or civilizations flourish or let things develop to their end. Death and extinction after all can be the final development of a great many things.

Hope/Despair is both direct and indirect. It is the paradigm that represents emotions and prayers.

It concerns itself with listening to the curses and prayers of living things, so it is rather limited in the fact that all things have to revolve around life, but its versatility comes in answering these prayers, whether manipulating events to lead to the answering of a desire, actually powering curses, or creating miraculous acts. In answering the Hopes and Despair of others it is virtually unrestricted, but at the same time it is dependent on their being others having those emotions to work on in the first place.

Anyway, it has been almost 12 hours so in 10 minutes or so I will probably lock this vote.

So, okay. Run off vote.

[] Hope/Despair
Pro: Incredibly versatile in its capabilities, able to do nearly everything that can be desired.
Con: Dependent on the desires and feelings of others and thus limited by the fact that they are done in answer to those feelings.
Not as bad as it looks as Answering can take any forms, from granting their wishes, to refusing, or outright punishing them.

[] Development/Stasis
Pro: Powerful manipulation tool, leading, guiding, stopping, or ending. Everything can be manipulated.
Con: Must start on something, which is not really that bad. The main weakness is the fact it is relatively slow. Expect to work on multiple projects, with results flourishing only a few turns later.
Note: this does not mean that you are limited by your actions, its just that when you do an action it will take several turns for it to reach its final state. You can ignore it and do other things, only paying attention to it when it comes to fruition.
