GCPD: The Dark Deparment

However, no one can deny that with the common use of search engines, dissatisfaction with the world and even just general stupidity...

Magic was becoming alarmingly common in Gotham City.

Commissioner Gordon listened to everyone's suggestions and even nodded at some but it was clear to the man that his current departments were either too specialised in certain fields or just too unlikely to be unable to step up to the plate for this particular job. To be the forerunners of a new department that would spearhead the rising arcane and troubles it brought.

The Zataras and, hell, even Jason Blood were never dependable on a strict timetable.

No, the Gotham City police Department would have to clear space for a new asset. A group of working police officers that could halt the beings draining people of blood, the ghosts that caused the endless destruction of property and push the deal making Fae back to a corner.

This was where you came in.

You were the new chosen captain to lead this force.

You were hand picked out the bunch because you had skills that no other officer quite had.

A middle-aged officer who keep quiet about his powers. He tried to do good where he could and the best when he could not. Raised in the roughest areas, Marcus knows the trouble the hardier folk had to deal with.
