What Brute power are you referring to? Becuase if it's Alexandria... She has more than that.

Yeah... but a Thinker power has far less applicability in a quest wouldn't you say? Because we all know things others shouldn't about characters, thus we're going to have an advantage when it comes to talking with people no matter what. I just feel like the Alexandria package should be left for.... well Alexandria I mean she's right there in the next room.

Basically nobody is voting for the Alexandria power.

Oh please, a master or stranger power will be thousands of times more entertaining to use than a boring brute package, what are we going to do, punch the plot until its good?

I never sand anything about a stranger power. I said Master and Thinker powers wouldn't be too fun because of the limited combat abilities they'd have. In a super hero setting there's going to be villains (Endbringers may or may not be a thing for a while) so having limited combat ability isn't good. If there's a tinker power, which people think is the gold option, then we could try to figure out how to reverse engineer the tech. Or make it work without it failing and breaking.

Hell if we get strong enough and don't agree with Cauldrons 'anything for the greater good' mentality we could carve out our own fiefdom like they wanted to test. Without knowing what the powers actually are makes it harder to think of a 'permanent' path for the character regardless of what power wins.

I wouldn't mind a Master power if it was the Siberians, but controlling people would be boring.

A Thinker power like the Number Mans would be cool, but if we were to end up with Coils I'd be much less happy.

Good points. I actually would rather avoid Mantons power because of how inherently broken it is. It'd probably be better off in our hands though. Controlling people would be boring until the end bringers show up.

Mathing so hard you understand the world could be pretty cool too. Coils power would actually be pretty interesting depending on the play style. Say we go and make a fiefdom, the simulations we could make would make it a lot easier.

A tinker power could be fun, but I'd really rather like a blaster or breaker. Not as inherently broken as some other types, gives a great ability to scale up depending on the power.

Nope, Doormaker explicitly bypasses range limitations.

Yeah, Mecha said to me in chat. It's something I completely forgot about.

Edit: Me and Mecha were chatting and made a list of what we thought the correct labels for the powers and I messaged IKnowNothing to check if he'd answer. We got all but three right, Mecha is gonna post the list so everyone gets an alert.

Figured we needed an alert.

Me and Me ha were chatting and made a list of what we thought the correct labels for the powers were. I messaged IKnowNothing the list and he said all but 3 were right.

1) Master
2) Blaster
3) Stranger
4) Trump
5) Tinker
6) Breaker/Shaker
7) Mover
8) Brute

Dunno what 3 are wrong, but I gotta leave for work. Gonna leave the list there for potential brainstorming.

[X] The silver vial. It looks like liquid metal, but within, you see it shift. One second, there's an orb, the next, a square.

[X] The gold vial. It seems to almost shine with power, but it behaves strangely. The air bubbles seem to be trapped at the bottom of the vial, unable to rise to the top.

[X] The vial that's pitch black. There's nothing special about it, it's just completely black. But you feel almost… In awe of it for some reason.

[] The Neon vial. It constantly shifts colors, vibrant reds, shining blues, almost like it was pulsing with some sort of power.

[] The clear vial. It's perfectly clear, with only a few air bubbles within it. However, the air bubbles are traveling in a circle up and down through the tube.

[] The green vial. The color seems to go from light, to dark, to emerald, always changing into a more complete version of the color than the one before it.

[] The blue vial. The liquid seems to swirl in it's own miniature whirlpool, spinning around and around with no stop.

[] The red vial. It looks completely solid, as if it could remain the same and strong even after the end of the world.

Ok I've finished my split shift so I can explain my reasoning behind the guesses. I don't know about Mecha's reasons though.

1) It's pretty straightforward (gonna be awkward if I'm wrong) but just the power itself makes the PC feel in awe of it. As a hint that's pretty heavily Master.
2) This ones a bit different, it's the pulses with power part that made me think Blaster.
3) Mecha was behind this one being a stranger power. Air behaving weirdly is strange I guess?
4) Mecha thinks this is Eidolons. I think it's Eden's version of Dauntless. Both of those are trumps.
5) Completely fluid like metal. Manipulating it. My guess was Tinker.
6) I wasn't clear on this one. I think it's a gravity based power (preventing the air from rising) and I wasn't sure if it was Breaker or Shaker.
7) I actually think this is Mover because of the constant motion it mentions. Sort of reminds me of Velocity or just Superspeed in general.
8) Alexandria's canon powerset. At least that's my belief of it.

Not the greatest reasoning behind some of them, which is probably why 3 are wrong.

So, if I counted correctly, there seems to be a tie between Black and Gold with green being a close runner up.

Once a clear winner has been chosen, we can get into the real fun stuff.

Like talking about what powers the other vials had!

Because GOLD

Memes are the best argument.
