But yeah, this discussion is pretty pointless since we can't really tell much about choices. It would be nice if we got Gate of Babylon or The World tho.

I don't want to say anything, but I will repeat myself.

No matter what you chose, you will like the outcome.

This may, or may not come with beamu.
 
Well, yeah, but that still doesn't change the fact that we are essentially picking said power randomly, just defeating point of offering a choice and making any discussion on this topic kinda tough.

I fully admit to that.

It is my fault for leading to this situation, where discussion is kind of mute because yes, it's just a mystery box. However, each one of the descriptions hints at the power. You could try and extrapolate the powers based on the descriptions. Right now, there have been several guesses, and a few of them are right on the money.

I made this tough so you guys can't just go "I want Eidolon's power!" :V

But I apologize if this made things frustrating.

I mean, i don't mind. It's still more interactive than standard stories, and i can follow those just fine. However, less discussion means that thread spends less time on the front page, giving it less exposure. It's just not the smart way to go about your power choice, from the meta perspective.

Trying to guess with this little information is exercise in futility, and convincing others that your interpretation is correct is pretty much impossible. My own guess is Gold being Hero, Neon Eidolon, Green Legend, Red Alexandria, Black Manaton, Silver Number Man(was he even a Cauldron trigger?) and no idea for blue and clear. However, i could easily make case for various colors having different meanings, because of course they do. And of course, there is a chance that some above are correct because i have 1/8 chance of guessing big four anyway.

But yeah, i hope that i don't come across as being too bitchy.

Forget about beams and super strength you traditional plebeians!

Very true, and don't worry. You had criticism and it was your right to voice it. If anything I thank you for helping me make a better story in the long run.

As for your guesses, you got one right.

And no, Number Man was a natural Trigger that was recruited by Cauldron after Jack took over the Nine. His name was Harbinger if I remember correctly.

Every type of power is available, all 12 forms, along with combinations of course. So yes, Fridge Horror is possible here, just depends on how you want to use your power when you get to it.

Eidolon: His major color is green and color changing regularly might mean his three power changing

    [X] The silver vial. It looks like liquid metal, but within, you see it shift. One second, there's an orb, the next, a square.
    [X] The red vial. It looks completely solid, as if it could remain the same and strong even after the end of the world.
    [X] The blue vial. The liquid seems to swirl in it's own miniature whirlpool, spinning around and around with no stop.
    [X] The Neon vial. It constantly shifts colors, vibrant reds, shining blues, almost like it was pulsing with some sort of power.

Going to go ahead and change mine.

Seems like the likely Brute power isn't happening, so I'll jump on what is probably a Trump power.

Not really? Master powers seem heaps passive. You have almost no direct power unless you get a power like Heartbreaker and can Master capes to fight for you. Most other types of powers come with an ability or a way to mitigate the fact you're a squishy human. Master powers really don't.

Yeah, I've never been a big fan of Master powers for a main character, I prefer the person to have the power themselves, even if it's weaker.

Manton vs. Alexandria, I would take Alexandria, even though Siberian wins in a fight.

To be fair Alexandria's entire powerset is great. The only way to beat her is suffocation or a more bullshit power. And those are in short supply.

And yeah, Master powers themselves aren't bad. I just don't prefer the entire powerset to be centred around being a Master. Same as Thinker powers as well. Anything that doesn't give you a way to avoid being a squishy human is something I would rather avoid.
 
Oh please, a master or stranger power will be thousands of times more entertaining to use than a boring brute package, what are we going to do, punch the plot until its good?
