Ignition Wrestling

So, you guys are definetly approaching the deadline. It's about 1 and I said I'd probably call it around 2.

You probably have a fair bit longer then that, I won't call it till I feel like writing and at the moment I have other stuff to do, but you might want to try and wrap this up in the next few hours.
Hn, fair enough.

Can you clarify if Charisma can affect in-ring combat/work? You've mentioned Momentum, but beyond that can it do anything in-ring?

Yeah, there's the momentum thing and the finisher thing that I already mentioned, and you can just use it to toy with your opponent in general.
Okay, so....

@EvaUnit01 , if you traded in Charisma for Striking, I'd be willing to whole-hog support your plan. It doesn't seem like anything's really gaining momentum, and I like yours next-best to my own. I think Charisma would work well for your concept (especially getting just the right reactions out of the "I'm here to clean up and beat face" type speeches), and I'll again note that it can help us get the ball rolling in our career. If we can grab the crowd's attention here and now I think it ups our chances.

.....I'm still not super-enthused about giving up both Power and Striking, but so be it.

[x]Crash Carter

[x] A Stranger, nobody knows you are here or what you are capable of, you don't work for the IWS yet, you're just a face in the crowd. You were planning to find an opportunity to insert yourself into the company and, well, he did challenge anyone in the building, not just in the roster. Time to jump the barrier.

They'll be the first priorities for me in our coming votes.

Okay, calling vote for Vigilante Stranger, but I'm going to leave the name vote open for a while longer as it isn't too important yet.

A Strange Introduction
Without a moment's hesitation you run down the aisle and quickly hop over the barrier separating the crowd from the audience. No song plays to announce your arrival, no one knew you were coming.

"What in the blazes is going on here?! Some guy ran in from the crowd and is heading to the ring! Do you recognize him TR?"

"Recognize him, I can't even see him with that hood covering his face!"

As you slide into the ring Johnny turns to face you, and he must have seen you coming on the Titantron or something because he doesn't waste a second in stomping you as you try to get to your feet. Your body so full of adrenaline and excitement, your blood boiling and ready to go, his offense doesn't slow you down for a second.

Somehow ignoring the kicks raining down on your back you rise to your feet and deliver a punch straight to the man's face, following it up with another and another sending him reeling. When he lunges forward to try and get a little revenge you nail him with an inverted atomic drop, lifting him up and then sticking your knee between his legs to hit his tailbone on the way down.

"I may not know who he is, but I'll tell you one thing Duke …"

Stunned and partially hunched over in pain, Johnny makes a perfect target for your next move. A step evolves into a run and you bounce off of the ropes, coming back to hit him with a picture perfect running neckbreaker.

"He means business."

Not giving your opponent any time to recover you drag him to his feet and lift him up for a suplex. Only, at the apex of the move Johnny Danger somehow reverses your momentum and turns the suplex into a DDT, slamming your head into the ground with a meaty thump.

"Hey may mean buisness TR, but his haste to inflict damage has backfired somethin' fierce!"

He rises to his feet and stares at you in disbelief for a few moments before starting to deliver some vicious blows while you are on the ground. He relaxes his offense for a moment to watch you, waiting for you to rise from the opposite side of the ring, body tense and ready to pounce, and when you do rise to your feet your body is folded in half by Johnny's spear.

"Well, he put on a good show but I think this fan's 3 minutes of fame are over … and it didn't even last 3 minutes!"

Thinking himself victorious Johnny poses over your immobile body before turning around to grab the microphone and resume speaking once more.

"Well … there. We. Go. Now wasn't that a surprise?"

The man shakes his head and, looking around, spots the broken half of the kendo stick he used earlier. He picks it up and points it at your slightly stirring body.

"You see this? No, no, get me a spotlight."

He climbs up one of the turnbuckles, carelessly balanced on the top rope uncaring of the danger of a potential fall, broken kendo stick held high above his head so it can seen as clearly as possible.

"You see this? Broken, just like I said. Now, gotta admit, I wasn't expecting some random guy in the crowd to be my first victim, but hell, if one of these parasites have more guts then all of you losers backstage then that's going to make my--"

Johnny was cut off, unable to finish his sentence as you had snuck up on him while he was talking, climbing up to the second rope on the turnbuckle and slipping your arms around his waist. Without a thought to your own safety you propel yourself away off of the turnbuckle and slam the two of you down to the mat in a devastating German Superplex.

"GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY!"

TR's voice is the first thing you hear, followed a moment later by the cheers of the crowd. Slowly, agonizingly slowly you make your way to the rope and climb you way back to your feet.

"Who is this man? What is his purpose here, his motivation that he'd put himself through such punishment?"

As the Duke rambles on and on you slowly look around and take in the situation. Johnny Danger is laying down with nothing but a moan of pain to show that he's still alive. Microphone is a few feet away and no one is coming down to the ring after you, not yet.

[] Give him your finisher and end this
[] (Fly) Go up high and hit him with a Frog Splash to get another giant pop out of the crowd
[] (Submission) Really lay on the pain and put him in a Boston Crab
[] (Charisma) Shove the microphone in his face and get him to call down a referee to make this an official match.
[] Write in

Speaking of Finishers
[] What is your finisher?

Do you have a particular taunt, feel free to write in more then one
[] Write in

If security comes or anyone else comes before you are finished do you
[] Stand your ground
[] Flee

If you do decide to leave do you
[] Leave the building entirely
[] Avoid attention and run away from security whenever necessary while watching the rest of the show for another opportunity to get involved.

[X] Grab the mic
[X] Give him your finisher... And don't end this.
[X] Make him tell everyone that his pants are Completely. Empty. Because he's a not a Man, just a little backstabbing Bitch.

I have no idea what our finisher should be tho.

Hm. Hm. Hm. Not sure yet on the Finisher....We're a Vigilante.....
Not sure if you have any thoughts here, @EvaUnit01 ?

So, I updated the vote section because I didn't think to ask you what you would do if security or anyone else shows up to interfere, which is pretty important considering I've been rolling for security showing up the entire time.

See, I dunno wrastlin, I just know how to talk shit :V
If you enjoy talking shit you might want to consider watching some wrestling, it is a very important part.

Eva told me that he was going to sleep, so he might take a while to respond.

So, as an aside, I'd like to talk about the current leading name choice.

I do not like Crash Carter. I could handle Crash as a nickname, that would be fine, but as the first name it just feels weird to me.

Might I suggest something like Calvin "Crash" Carter, so you can get a sweet CCC abreviation? I just think it sounds and looks so much better.

Alternatively, the first name could be an F name so you abbrevviate to FCC, which reminding people of the Federal Communications Commission, would help you with names and potentially your theme song. For example, Communication Breakdown would not be a bad theme song and Transmission would be a pretty nifty name for whatever your Finisher winds up being. Communication Breakdown would also be a great Finisher name if you decide to go for a different theme song, perhaps one more fitting to your vigilante theme.

[x] Give him your finisher and end this
-[x] What is your finisher?
--[x]The "System Crash" (also known as a Burning Hammer)

@King Arthur : Part of the reason why I went with "Crash" as part of the name was for the super-lame pun with his Finisher being called "System Crash" (like how Randy Keith Orton's RKO also works as his initials, or AJ Styles having a move called the Styles Clash).

"System Crash" not only for how it can reference a computer system crashing, but also the idea of "bringing a corrupt system crashing down on top of the people unjustly using it for their own ends".

Although if the GM doesn't like it, I'm down with making it a middle or nickname.

Although I don't have much in the way of taunts to offer up at this time.

[x] Flee

Our immediate objective has been fulfilled. No sense in faffing about for no reason.

[x] Avoid attention and evade security whenever necessary while watching the rest of the show for another opportunity to get involved.

@EvaUnit01 , if I may?

[X] Full Name: Calvin "Crash" Carter
-[X] Possible Logos:

[x] Give him your finisher and end this
-[x] What is your finisher?
--[x]The "System Crash" (also known as a Burning Hammer)

[X] Taunt: "I decided to crash your party."

Cheesy as hell? Yes.
Branding-conscious? Yes.
Unapologetic fun? Yes.

[X] Flee
[X] Avoid attention and evade security whenever necessary while watching the rest of the show for another opportunity to get involved.

Brave Sir Crash ran away! :p

As an aside, I have nothing against verbal taunts and if you want to include those you are more then welcome to, but I meant more, like, physical taunts. Like the DX crotch chop, the Randy Orton look at me pose, Cena's Can't See Me wave thing. What are you doing before and after matches, what kind of quick moves do you have if you want to gesture to the crowd really quick between moves?

Is there any sort of flair you want to add onto your finisher move? Shawn Michales tuning up the band for Sweet Chin Music and Randy Orton becoming a human snake right before the RKO are the first examples that spring to mind if you want to see what I mean.

............

Edit: You can definetly put this off for later if you wish, and no matter what you vote it'll almost definetly evolve and change over time.
