Turn 1: Zephyr, Scion of the Sky New
One last trip for the day and then he could finally rest. Maybe it didn't need to be done all at once, but once Spyro had started it had seemed like a good idea to see everything through. The tiredness he was feeling now was a sign that perhaps that hadn't been the best idea. With a tired sigh he landed near the part of the aqueduct that hid the trio's dwelling and squeezed through the hole to where the rolling door was. To his surprise, it was already open with Nefaris laying behind it. "Back so soon King Spyro?" He asked, stressing the uncomfortable title.

Spyro nodded, "I don't think that Gale is going to be a good match for Zephyr." He stated to the shadow dragon as he entered the tunnel. "She's a good flier, but she hasn't put enough work into her element."

Nefaris stretched as he rose to lead the way. "Well, that would have been the easy route. The three of us talked things over while you were gone." He added as Spyro followed him down into the cavern that the trio had gotten carved out.

Scones on the walls provided more than enough light to see Flare and Zephyr chatting. "-had me relaying messages all day, it was a little boring. Hopefully I get to do some scouting and flex my wings a little more soon." Zephyr was saying.

Flare acknowledged Spyro with a nod as he replied, "Once the city is more stable, I'm sure that will be the priority. It was just a routine guard job for me, protecting supplies from people being greedy." The fire dragon turned his gaze to Spyro and Nefaris as they walked up, drawing Zephyr's eyes as well. "I hope everything went well at the Avis estate ...King? My liege?"

Spyro chuckled at the attempted greeting. "I have no idea, nobody explained that to me before they thrust the crown onto my head. Just Spyro is fine." He replied as he took his spot on the unclaimed cushions.

"So Avis…" Zephyr began. "They seem to be putting in quite a bit of effort to get me to join them." The wind dragon's wings rustled as if itching and Spyro was left wondering just how much stamina the scion had if he spent the entire day flying.

"As far as I understand things, this is part of a last ditch effort to hold onto some semblance of prestige." Spyro clarified for the three orphans. "They're down to just three people and if I was reading the room right, other Houses are trying to take advantage of them. That's why they are willing to bend over backwards for you."

Nefaris took this opportunity to chime in, "Near complete freedom, access to all of their resources, quite a bit of influence… It's a pretty good deal Zeph."

Zephyr shrugged. "I've been getting by quite well without them and I'm not too keen on them trying to hook me up with some dragoness just to pump up kids." The wind dragon took a gulp of water from the bowl in front of him. "Besides, I'd have to listen to… what was his name? Circos?"

"Lord Circos can't be that bad Zephyr." Flare replied. "You got along well enough with the rest of Avis during the war."

Zephyr actually smiled at that. "Those days were so much more exciting. I'm not sure I really need Avis, I could always work as a freelance scout instead."

Spyro chose this moment to re-enter the conversation. "You wouldn't have the same resources and help that you would without them and I doubt that they would push a partner on you who was lacking anyways. They have an entire obstacle course enchanted to float that they were using to train Gale.

That finally got Zephyr's attention. "That could be fun." He mused. "They're not bad fliers either. Most of the ones I flew with during the war were around Nef's skill."

Nefaris laughed. "High praise being compared to me. Like Spyro said, they definitely have resources that we don't have."

"That influence could be useful too." Flare chimed in. "How often have we lamented something that we had no way of fixing?"

Zephyr had a thoughtful look on his face as he considered that. "Alright, what about you two though? I don't think they'll go for all three of us joining."

"Allies of the House." Spyro said, drawing on the lessons that Cyril had spent much of the month pounding into his skull. "You would be able to bring issues to Avis' attention and count on their counsel and representation." At least he thought that was how that whole thing worked out.

Nefaris smirked at Zephyr, "I reckon I could find a way into House Calas too. Would that make us rivals?"

The wind dragon laughed. "Weren't you under them during the war anyways?" Turning back to Spyro, Zephyr frowned. "Huh. I'm running out of reasons not to."

That was definitely a good sign, now if Spyro could just seal the deal… With a deep breath, he unrolled the scroll that he was given earlier and listed off everything that House Avis had put forward. "They've promised full, unedited maps as well as their considerable library of wind techniques. Full access to all of their training tools, a secure spot to rest your wings, and only as much responsibility as you want. Freedom to do what you want as long as it doesn't affect Avis in a negative manner and ability to wield their considerable influence toward matters you consider important." Spyro read out.

Roll: 11 + 60(omakes) + 13(diplomacy) + 15(Flare and Nefaris) =99

Zephyr stared off into the distance as he considered it. Finally, after a long silence he spoke. "...I hope I don't regret this, but fine. After all the effort they've gone through and in memory of everyone I served with during the war, I'll take the deal."

Flare draped a wing over his brother and pulled him close. "Relax, this isn't going to be changing anything besides where you sleep at night. It'll definitely beat this cold stone floor. We were probably going to find somewhere new soon anyways unless the king was willing to ignore our cavern right underneath the ruined aqueducts?" Flare stated, directing the last part at Spyro as a question.

All Spyro could do was shrug. "I have no idea, I'll be deferring to whatever engineers and masons we hire to do the job.

"I don't imagine the cavern itself will be a problem if we get it reinforced, but that entrance may have to be changed." Nefaris mused. "I might as well chase down my contacts in House Calas, I bet I could talk them into adopting me or at the very least hooking me up with a hot 'ness and marrying me in."

"What about you Flare?" Spyro asked out of curiosity.

The fire dragon looked over at the plates of enchanted steel that he had stacked to the side. "I'll end up joining whatever army you put together for Warfang." He answered. After a moment he shot a considering look toward Spyro. "Think House Novis will take me?"

Spyro groaned as he stood up. "...I have a meeting with them tomorrow about the advisor they're appointing to my council. Do you want me to ask?"

Flare considered that for a moment. "It's probably best to wait until I've made more of a name for myself. Do you have a name for this advisor?"

"...Fervis Novis." Spyro said after a moment of thought. "He's supposed to be one of the best commanders they have."

Flare's eyes widened. "The Inferno's Fury… That's a big name, Spyro."

That was definitely good news to hear. "I was a little worried that Novis was going to saddle me with someone less skilled." The king stated as he stretched and got ready to leave.

Flare shook his head. "No, Novis takes their reputation very seriously. They might be arrogant, but many of the best officers in the war were from their House."

"Good to hear. I'll see you all later. Zephyr, I hope everything goes well tomorrow." Spyro bid farewell as he turned towards the tunnel. The day had gone on for far too long and he was looking forward to being able to sleep.

Reward: +2 reputation with House Avis. New reputation with Avis is at 7/10

Turn 2 New

Turn 2 - Year 1, Month 2

"This is our headquarters for the time being?" Fervis said as he looked at the seemingly ramshackle building that had been commandeered. The building was actually quite more solid than it looked, thanks to Terrador, but it did not exactly scream wealth or power.

Spyro was not exactly happy with Fervis' attitude, but the fire dragon brought a level of knowledge of military matters on par with Terrador's. "At the moment the priorities are keeping everyone fed, riots from breaking out and dealing with the aqueducts and housing."

Fervis grimaced at the king's response. "We will need to deal with it soon, but I suppose you are right." The older dragon glanced down at the scroll in his claws. "Guardian Terrador's plans are in line with what I was going to suggest. The roster in particular is going to be crucial before I can make any further plans in that regard."

At that moment Cynder chose the moment to walk in. "The Guardians were delayed. Another crowd causing trouble over the rationing. I notice that none of their faces volunteered for hunting duty either."

Sparx laughed from where he was next to Spyro. "Of course not, they want to go back to their cushy lives before the war. In fact I wonder if any of them were paid by one of those nobles who don't like you, Spyro."

Fervis glanced at the dragonfly that he had been warned about; the king's brother was considered mostly untouchable, no matter how annoying he could get. "I would not be surprised if Avala or Bayle did so. They have the most resources to be causing trouble at the moment."

Spyro nodded at Fervis' words. "I'll keep that in mind. With Avis, Novis, Hayle, and Farad on our side along with many of the Lesser Houses, I'm hoping they won't try and start something." The purple dragon looked down at one of the scrolls laid out in front of him. "Lord Hayle approached me a few days ago with a plan to host a ceremony to mark the end of the war and to remember the dead and the many heroes. He said several of the other Houses were going to help out with it, all they need from us is someone to coordinate with them."

"A fine plan." Fervis announced. "I suspect though that they are hoping to curry favor with you, it is not typical for the nobility to do something and expect nothing back from it."

Sparx crossed his arms as he glared at Fervis. "Yeah, well that still makes it the right thing to do. Everyone lost someone."

Spyro felt his eyes grow misty as he remembered Ignitus. "We did…" He muttered as he felt Cynder's tail wrap around his own as she leaned against him.

"He's with the ancestors now, Spyro." She whispered softly. Neith Sparx nor Fervis made any movements to disrupt them. The late Fire Guardian was someone to be respected who had touched many hearts for the better.

After a long moment of silence, the doors to the chamber opened once more as Cyril, Terrador, and Volteer made their way inside. With a deep breath, Spyro stood up straight and announced the beginning of the council meeting.

Treasury: 7,350 Gold
Income: 0 Gold per turn
Food: Deficit
Morale: 2/10

Turns start at one month long.
Each action must be assigned to a character.
Available Characters (6): Spyro, Cynder, Fervis, Cyril, Terrador, Volteer

Fervis of House Novis is your new martial advisor. You are pleasantly surprised at how competent he actually is, though he is quite arrogant like many members of his family. So far he is just getting settled in, but he agrees quite heavily with what Terrador has already said. Figure out who can be counted on for conflicts, fix the wall, and start up patrols in and around Warfang to find problems before they become a problem.

Making a Roster: Fervis has agreed with Terrador, one of the first priorities for him should be getting a roster of all available and willing fighters the city has left. Out of everything that has been put on the table for military matters, this is the one he thinks is most important.
Chance of Success: 80%. Reward: Accurate information on all willing and able fighters.

Patching the Holes Part 1: Between the damage from the siege, the Golem breaking open a hole, the Destroyer walking straight through the city, and then the sundering and reconstruction of the planet, the renowned defenses of Warfang are in bad shape. There are massive gaps in the wall from where the Destroyer walked through as well as where tremors shook the walls apart. Fervis echoes Terrador's thoughts that at the very least, the holes need to be plugged as soon as possible.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 1000 Gold. Time: 2 months. Reward: Enemies can no longer walk straight into Warfang.

Patrolling: There have been no monster sightings since the restoration of the world, though that does not mean threats do not exist. From looters to active hostility from those who resent the change in leadership. Fervis agrees with Terrador that patrolling the city until the immediate crisis is over would be best, however he admits that it will be a little tricky until he knows who can count on for it.
Chance of Success: 80%. Cost: 100 Gold. Time: 1 month. Reward: Warfang patrolled. ???

Cyril congratulates Spyro on a job well done for his first negotiations. There were a few areas for improvement, but as a first showing that was very well done. Thanks to his family, Cyril is aware that several Houses are now on Spyro's side and several have solidified their dislike for him. A true advisor is still very much something that Spyro needs to get on top of however once things settle down.

Honoring the Heroes: Lord Flurris of House Hayle approached Spyro a few days ago with an idea. So many were killed in the war that did not have proper funerals and not all of the heroes of the war were recognized like they should have been. Lord Flurris, acting in his current position as Lord Hayle, along with the Lords and Ladies of several other of the Major and even Lesser Houses have offered to use their substantial resources to finance a proper remembrance ceremony to mark the war's end. Several of these same nobles also apologized for their behavior during the negotiation and confessed that they should have spoken up against the proposal to make the other races second class citizens in the city.
Chance of Success: 100%. Time: 1 month. Reward: The dead are officially laid to rest to join with the ancestors and the heroes of the war are honored. +2 Morale.

Talking with the Moles: Cyril has decided that the number one priority needs to be re-establishing formal contact with the moles. The moles are experts in construction and have several ideas that the dragons could benefit from. As the moles both build Warfang and live inside of it, Spyro agrees with his reasoning.
Chance of Success: 90%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Diplomatic relations with the moles resumed. Can coordinate certain actions.

Talking with the Cheetahs: Hunter was an absolute blessing during the war. Unfortunately, not all of his people share his views and though Chief Prowlus eventually got over his hatred by the end, he still does not like dragons. Terrador feels that this could go either way, but that they would be able to greatly assist in scouting, patrolling, and knowledge of nature.
Chance of Success: 50%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Diplomatic relations with the cheetahs resumed. Can coordinate certain actions.

Talking with the Dragons: The populace are riled up, sure of the idea that Spyro can fix everything. It may be a good idea to rid them of this notion and soon.
Chance of Success: 80%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Population calmed down.

Talking with the Nobles (House): With the very first negotiations completed, Cyril is quite pleased. He has offered to assist in further negotiations with a chosen House if you so choose, though he recommends waiting until you have a diplomatic advisor to handle such things.
Chance of Success: N/A. Time: 1 month. Reward: Coordinate on a project with the chosen House.

Coordinating with the Nobles (House): Several of the Noble Houses, both major and lesser have a vested interest in areas that might be beneficial. Cyril has offered to help coordinate on such a project, but he would rather wait until you have a formal diplomatic advisor.
Chance of Success: ??? Time: 1 month. Reward: Coordinate on a project with the chosen House.

Finding a New Adviser (Diplomacy): The Guardians agree that you need to find a true diplomacy adviser before anything meaningful can be done.
Chance of Success: 80%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Permanent diplomacy adviser.

Cynder and Cyril have the most expertise in the realm of Intrigue, though both admit that a more specialized advisor would be of great help. In the meantime, the Guardians have made it clear that sending out scouts needs to be done in order to see what changed when the world was remade. Given that any other factions are likely in the same shape of Warfang, you have some time.

Scouting: According to the Guardians, the first thing that needs to be done is finding what has changed since the planet was put back together. With proper maps of the area, they agree that they will be able to do more and start planning on how to best disrupt any potential enemies. With Houses Avis and Calas on your side, getting such scouting done should be quite simple.
Chance of Success: 80%. Cost: 100 Gold. Time: 1 month. Reward: Basic maps of the area directly around Warfang.

Noble Matters: With the war over the nobles will be starting up their political schemes once more. For the moment they are satisfied with Spyro being the new leader of Warfang on account of how young and inexperienced he is in those matters. With the ongoing reconstruction and the recent negotiations, Cyril is sure that few of the Houses will be causing trouble for the moment.
Chance of Success: 70%. Cost: 200 Gold. Time: 1 month. Reward: Early start on emerging political scene.

Finding a New Adviser (Intrigue): The Guardians agree that you need to find a true Intrigue adviser before anything meaningful can be done.
Chance of Success: 80%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Permanent intrigue adviser.

Cyril has volunteered to coordinate with the moles where it concerns rebuilding the city. He has stated that the priority needs to be on taking a census keeping the city fed and watered. Working with House Aquaras to rebuild their fish farms is one such avenue, but until the nearby area has been scouted, nobody knows where such fish farms would go.

Gone Hunting: Food has become a very big problem due to the large population of dragons calling the city home. Cyril recommends sending out hunting parties immediately to make sure nobody goes hungry throughout the month.
Chance of Success: 100%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Food, +300 Gold in loot.

Taking a Census: Cyril admits that nobody knows for sure how many people are left in Warfang and suggests that this needs to be done immediately so that work can be started on fixing the economy and tackling the larger issues.
Chance of Success: 60%. Cost: 200 Gold. Time: 2 months. Reward: Knowledge of how many people are in the city, their races, and what kinds of dragons.

Fixing the Aqueducts Part One: With a grimace, Cyril has declared the aqueducts utterly unsalvageable. He has stated that the first step is going to need to be clearing away the rubble of the old aqueducts which will be tedious by itself thanks to how extensive they were.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 500 Gold. Time: 2 months. Reward: Rubble of the old aqueducts cleared away.

A Roof Overhead: Well over the majority of the houses have burned down and even more were shook apart in the tremors and quakes that followed. Even the most sturdy of stone buildings took great amounts of damage and the residential section is almost completely gone. Cyril warns that there may be complications if done before the census as they could end up building too few or too many.
Cost: 3000 Gold. Time: 5 months. Reward: Housing crisis resolved.

Planning a Better City: Cyril has suggested that this may be the best time to redesign the city to be more efficient, have less in the way of complicated locking mechanisms and a more sensible layout.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 300 Gold. Time: 2 months. Reward: Easier to navigate, ???.

A Better Governing System: It has been suggested by many already that the current governing system which has Spyro and a small council of advisers ruling the city, could be further tuned to be more effective.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 500 Gold. Time: 2 months. Reward: Government solidified. Sub-vote.

Taxation Nightmare Part One: Financially, Warfang is in rather dire straits at the moment. Cyril would like to get a head start on revamping the tax system to account for the change in population. He admits that doing this before the Census would make it incredibly difficult.
Chance of Success: 20%. Cost: 500 gold. Time: 3 months. Reward: +500 income in gold.

Finding a New Adviser (Stewardship): Cyril has made it clear that his position as the stewardship adviser is temporary and would prefer to focus on his duties as a Guardian and as a noble.
Chance of Success: 80%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Permanent stewardship adviser.

Volteer is the Guardian of Electricity and is a brilliant scholar who loves learning, but has a tendency to be extremely verbose. He has offered to take over the more scholarly related aspects for the moment. Far fewer books were recovered than what Volteer would have liked. At the moment he is advising for the library to be rebuilt so that a proper count of the books can be done, though the education problem needs to be taken care of when at all possible.

Noble and Squires: The current system is for a noble to take on an apprentice and train them, while the apprentice assists them as they learn important lessons. This is the approach preferred by the nobility as it gives them significant power in educating new dragons, but the education tends to be incomplete and bias, though it does result in more specialization. This option would give Volteer the go ahead to begin approaching the remaining nobles to persuade them to take on new apprentices.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 200 Gold. Time: 1 month. Reward: Apprentice system continued. Nobles pleased. Cyril pleased.

Building a Place for Learning: Volteer's other option is copied from the moles and would consist of gathering all the young drakes, building a place to educate them, and selecting people to train them in a stable environment. This would give all young drakes a standardized education and ensure all dragons get an education. The downsides would be that this results in less specialization and the nobility would be very much displeased.
Chance of Success: 50%. Cost: 1000 gold. Time: 3 months. Reward: Schools. Nobles displeased. Cyril displeased.

Schools and Apprentices: The third option Volteer has proposed is not as much of a radical change as the second and would consist of mandating an education, but if a drake finds someone to sponsor an apprenticeship, then they may forgo the standardized education in favor of an apprenticeship. The nobility is split on this issue with half having issue with how the government would be more involved in the education system than before and half rallying behind it as the best solution to fix the issues with the current system.
Chance of Success: 75%. Cost: 1200 Gold. Time: 3 months. Reward: School built. Apprenticeship continued. Guardians pleased. Some nobles displeased.

Save the Books! Part Two: With the Dragon Temple destroyed and with it priceless irreplaceable knowledge, Volteer has declared an emergency. The other half of the issue is that with the Warfang library and Dragon Temple gone, there is no longer a place to store books. Volteer has deemed this a lesser priority, but says that the sooner it is done, the sooner they can take inventory and figure out what they have and what the Guardians and other older dragons may have to rewrite from memory.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 1100 gold. Time: 3 months. Reward: Library built. Librarian hired. Actions unlocked.

Finding a New Adviser (Learning): Volteer has made it clear that his position as the Learning adviser is temporary and would prefer to focus on his duties as a Guardian and as a scholar.
Chance of Success: 80%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Permanent learning adviser.

The elements are the foundation of the world. Though Fire, Ice, Electricity, and Earth are acknowledged as the pillars of the world, there also exist Water, Wind, Shadow, Poison, and Fear. All three Guardians are sharing the responsibility of being the Piety adviser and each has different ideas of priorities. With their current additional duties, they do not have as much time to focus on the spiritual as they would like.

Rebuilding the Temple: The Dragon Temple was a work of art before Malefor destroyed it. A millennia worth of priceless knowledge and secrets have been lost forever. Though the new temple will not be as defensible, nor have the many artifacts the Guardians had collected over the years, it would be the first step in continuing their ancient responsibilities to the world.
Chance of Success: 100%. Cost: 2000 gold. Time: 3 months. Reward: New Dragon Temple constructed. No Pool of Visions and no protective enchantments to keep it safe.

Training New Guardians Part One, Version One: With Ignitus dead, the number of Guardians has declined to three. Cyril wishes to find a replacement for Ignitus as soon as possible. While some would argue that this is too soon, Cyril makes a good point that the sooner they start training, the sooner the new Guardian could start contributing.
Chance of Success: 60/75/90%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Fire Guardian Initiate is chosen.

Training New Guardians Part One, Version Two: With Ignitus dead, the number of Guardians has declined to three. Cynder has brought up an alternative that has Volteer intrigued. Traditionally only the four primary elements are represented by the Guardians, but she has argued that the other five elements are equally important and deserve their own Guardian to preserve the knowledge and secrets of the elements. Traditionally, initiates chosen are those with a Heroic Affinity, though an Exceptional Affinity is also acceptable if they have a powerful gift to complement it.
Chance of Success: 60/75/90%. Time: 1 month. Reward: One of Fire, Water, Wind, Shadow, Poison, or Fear Guardian Initiates are identified.

Recording Knowledge: The Guardians would like to get a head start on recording their collective knowledge of the elements. Though they would prefer to wait until the new temple was constructed, so they have a place to store them.
Chance of Success: 1/10/30/50/70/90/100%. Time: 3 months. Reward: Guardian knowledge preserved. Chance of priceless knowledge.

Spyro has found that he has less freedom than ever before with people constantly bothering him about new issues both urgent and trivial. Thankfully for his sanity, Sparx and Cynder have been very helpful in pulling him away from his new duties and keeping him together. Must be taken by Spyro.

Continued Training (LOCKED): Spyro had a very combat oriented education and thus is lacking in what many would consider the basics. To further that the dragonflies had very different priorities in education than the dragons. In addition to this Cynder suffers from a similar problem and thus will be tutored alongside Spyro. Does not use an action.
Chance of Success: 30/50/70/90/100%. Time: 12 months. Reward: Holes in Spyro's and Cynder's education patched. Chance of stat gain. Chance of traits.

Spending Time with Cynder: Ever since the fight with Malefor, Spyro has felt closer to Cynder than ever before. He has a half remembered feeling that Cynder would like to be even closer. Spyro has been operating mostly on instinct regarding this and the older dragons are of no help when it comes to advice, always deflecting his questions or trying to hide a laugh.
Chance of Success: ??? Time: 1 month. Reward: Increased closeness with Cynder. ???

Spend Time with Sparx: Spyro and Sparx were inseparable at one point. Unfortunately he had to leave his foster brother behind before his fight Malefor as Sparx never would have made it through the Ring of Fire even with Ignitus' sacrifice.
Chance of Success: 100%. Time: 1 month. Reward: Time spent with Sparx.

Spend Time with (character): There are many significant individuals in Warfang, both dragon and non-dragon. Spend some time with one of them and you may learn something. (May choose a character or leave it up to QM)
Chance of Success: Variable. Time: 1 month. Reward: Information. Possible character sheet.

Mastering the Elements (Fire, Ice, Electricity, or Earth): While Spyro can be considered an expert in using the elements, he could go further and begin the process of mastering an element. This would require dedicating his time to one element; with Ignitus dead and the other Guardians very busy at the moment, this will take twice as long to accomplish.
Chance of Success: 1d100 of 500 (half result before bonuses are added). Time: ??? Reward: Chosen element mastered.

Learning a New Element (Water, Wind, Shadow, Poison, or Fear): As a purple dragon, Spyro is the only dragon who can learn a new element. With Cynder's assistance, learning Wind, Shadow, Poison, or Fear would be comparatively easy. He has no current teacher for Water unfortunately.
Chance of Success: 1d100/100 (half result for water before bonuses are added). Time: ??? Reward: Learn chosen element.

Mastering the Code of Reality: Aether allows one to alter reality with enough will and provides both the ultimate offense and the ultimate defense. Unfortunately Aether is incredibly difficult to master as nobody, save Spyro and Cynder can even use it and both have been almost lost to the dark side of it forever. Mastering the conventional elements first may make this easier.
Chance of Success: 1d100/600 (Low rolls have disastrous consequences). Time: ??? Reward: Become an expert in Aether.

Shaping Reality: It is a purple dragon's spiritual right to master the elements. Malefor however did something nobody had even considered and added the elements of Shadow, Poison, and Fear. With this revelation, there have been rumors that Wind and Water are not original elements either and that only the prime elements of Fire, Ice, Electricity, and Earth are natural. While Spyro is nowhere near Malefor's level of mastery over Aether, it could be done.
Chance of Success: ???% (chance doubled if Cynder can be convinced to help). Time: ??? Reward: New Element.

So, getting in touch with moles for repairs, scouting to find where we can put the fisheries of that noble house, taking a census to count mouths and make sure no ones taking more than there fair share by claiming more mouths to feed than they actually have. Otherwise following our only real advisors advice and getting more advisers.

Mostly agreeing, though I'd Like to do the state funeral for the Heroes asap (for the honouring of the fallen and for +2 morale when current morale is in the dumps.
Also strongly prefer to get a view into the political Scene before they start causing shit.

Mostly just for the Honoring the Heroes choice, since I worry that the longer we wait on that one, the less effect it'll have. Plus, as @Toboe mentioned, morale's really bad right now, and this is a way to give it a boost.

EDIT: And also it let's Spyro mourn Ignitus.

Honestly I wouldn't mind restricting how many Advisors we hire per turn to 1 so that each advisor gets a bit of room to breathe narratively as they're brought in. The power gaming move is to take 5 advisor gain actions + Talk to Moles imo. It's so many more actions, actually, but I don't hate being more narrative-driven and less power gamey.

too bad none of the current plans have the Spyro+Cynder action, but taking that when we've got a State Funeral action . . I mean it'd look like 3 AP for Funeral + Moles + Cynder talk. And then what, hire Stewardship advisor, try the Census, and get the Military organized?

Yeah. It'd be subbing out getting a handle on the Political Scene for talking to Cynder. I'd be fine with that

I'm pondering if we should go for an intrigue adviser to get a better handle on politics. If we do the funeral action I doubt anyone would be willing to disrupt the proceedings.. thus giving us time to properly ease into dealing with politics.

Canon: Firey Thoughts New
{Omake: Firey Thoughts}

Fevris glanced at the Young King one last time as different pieces of information that he had both been given and what he'd seen of him both before and during the meeting. Specifically, the moments where the Young King's guard dropped and he seemed to curl within himself once more. The body language was perhaps the most befuddling thing he'd ever seen. And he watched the Dragonfly brazenly talk back to the Terror of the Skies.

To turn in on himself like that... Ah, but then again...

He was not surprised that others had noticed his musings. He wasn't particularly subtle at the best of times. He also wasn't completely surprised that when he was confronted. Repairations had not yet been paid and trust was easily damaged, and nearly impossible to repair. Even a Fire Dragon like him could feel the Earth rumble as Terrador's footfalls pulsed as he approached. "Earthen Pillar," Fevris greeted the elder and more accomplished dragon.

"Commander," Terrador returned the greeting. "Will you deign tell me what seems to hold your attention? Perhaps some matter that you would like to discuss privately?"

Fevris wanted to snort. Both of them knew that matters of the military were being put off to ensure that there was food and shelter and water. An Army needed a food supply and barracks. They both knew it well.

"A thought merely coalescing into clarity, nothing more," Fevris demurred. "It took me some time to place it, but... The only time I've seen that behavior is from Scions of Valance, and even they do it not to such an extent."

"I see," the Earth Guardian rumbled. An unsubtle reminder of just how far the Houses had erred, and that he was in the presence of a Dragon who was meant to guide and teach the Purple Dragon of their era who was now Warfang's King.

"A rare lesson, his parents taught him," Fevris continued. "Gentleness, it is not something often taught when we are young and it is something I struggle with even as I pass my second century. But a good one to learn, I think." Fevris supposed that it was somewhat more a priority when a child was a giant in both size and weight even as a newborn and only continued to grow. The thought of trying to raise a being as large as one of the Golems that the Dark One had sent at their city and watch them only continue to grow flitted through his mind and made him feverently grateful that the Ancestors wouldn't see to give him such a trial. And respect to the community who had done it.

After all, the King was still in his second Decade. He would one day have power and a versatility of scope that Fevris could scarcely dream of. Those things... It was good for those things to be tempered by a gentle hand.

"A willingness and strength to protect others as well. As the place they lived was not without predators to dragonflies, and those were a challenge to a child dragon with no element or training. But one that could be overcome."

'Do not mistake his kindness for weakness,' Fevris mentally translated. 'He is still a warrior and protector.'

Fevris could understand the message well. It also meant that he was meant to advise and protect one who would be willing to take the field himself if it would spare others pain or loss. Something he also was familiar with. It seemed the Ancestors decided to give him an interesting challenge.

"I understand and will make sure it's understood." The Ice Guardian would likely have his hands full teaching the king to recognize that what he was doing was not 'looming' or 'imposing on others space.' Fevris would make sure that his House knew not to see the king seeming to shrink as backing down. He was sure that information would be... Valuable in itself. And he would have to make sure that if the hammer needed to come down, he didn't doubt the king's heart if it was truely necessary.

Mostly agreeing, though I'd Like to do the state funeral for the Heroes asap (for the honouring of the fallen and for +2 morale when current morale is in the dumps.
Also strongly prefer to get a view into the political Scene before they start causing shit.
