Alchemy 3 would take several turns to finish even if all out wisdom ghosts helped so I'm helping here. My ghost was a pill master, every form of alchemy and refinement was learned by him

Maybe but at 170 for one its very expensive , especially when meridians dont apply to it.
You need 10 turns for one to be worth the actions.
This is the way with all siphons. They hit break-even at 10 turns. Each Yin siphon is... very nearly 2.5 water siphons, if I'm understanding it correctly? Both in cost and payoff?

And the next one is senses which is probably worth doing with yin to double the perception bonus… maybe. I assume perception is a mental trait and not physical.

On the other hand we could probably double tap it with fire qi faster than doing it once with yin so maybe not
 
Pretty well actually. 2 people have done nerve refining with fire qi, which got us the first level of it and probably a good chunk of the way to the second level. That's +2 Dex, which will probably be very helpful since combat missions have dex rolls
The issue is that we dont really have any fire qi , so that is going to be -6 CC by default.
Which is expensive.
But at least we advanced a bit.

I'm okay with doing it a little slower if it gets us a larger bonus. Li is kind of weak after all, he really needs as many boosts as he can get if we want him to avenge the clan
