Last Light of a Dark Age (Warhammer 29K/Disco Elysium)

[X] Egophage: Masters of electronic warfare, egophages adopt the trappings of pneumatic psychic powers for a cybernetic age. Manipulating light in order to attack enemies from ambush and range, Egophages are snipers, commandos, and assassins.
[X] Warweave. Pull your hair into a tight and intricate spiral weave which focuses the power of your null field to disrupt electronic attacks. +1 INFOWAR (so long as Warweave is active).
[X] Petriform Gas. It starts as a coughing, a wheezing, released from the warhead of a shell. Then the crystals embed themselves in lungs, in the bloodstream, in the muscles. Within hours, the growths emerge on your skin. Within days, the crystal is merging and clustering, eating the victim alive. Within weeks, the infection reaches their soul. There is no cure.

But the vote in the Alveolar Assembly fails by just three, and a missing elder sibling delegate who was meant to lend his influence to the recall is found dead in his stack-estate, body turned inside out. His adopted pneumatic student, barely alive and missing a third of her face, claims sanctuary in Origen. Several other prominent siblings advocating peace meet unique ends in the following weeks.

The message is understood, and there are no further recall votes.
Huh wonder who they think it is

[X] Irontamer: Knights on machine-back, irontamers tame and control powerful sentient machines as war-mounts. Synchronicity between rider and machine can unlock ancient abilities and systems. Irontamers are scouts, lancers, and cataphracts.
[X] Combat Plugs. Grow your hair into woven braids ending in tied electronic jacks you can use to enhance your weaponry and machines. +1 RHYTHMS (so long as Combat Plugs are active).
[X] Petriform Gas. It starts as a coughing, a wheezing, released from a Koinon artillery shell. Then the crystals embed themselves in lungs, in the bloodstream, in the muscles. Within hours, the growths emerge on your skin. Within days, the crystal is fusing and clustering, eating the victim alive. Within weeks, the infection reaches their soul. There is no cure.

The Progeny calls the copse-clouds to form a storm formation that will blot out the sun and vanquish Koinon, once and for all. Two fronts are demanded - one to Eros, to reclaim Cube Jade. The other is to support the Bronze-King's march on Logos, and the Lapsarian Lung. The Copse of Invincible Grace, led by 18 Immaculate Sympathy, is to spearhead the latter as a single battle-unit.

I wonder which front we are going to be fighting on or if we get to choose the front. My guess would be most of the anons would be interested in marching on Logos.

[X] Warweave. Pull your hair into a tight and intricate spiral weave which focuses the power of your null field to disrupt electronic attacks. +1 INFOWAR (so long as Warweave is active).
[X] Feral Machines. There are wonders of this planet that should not have survived the fall. Mad and corrupted, they hold a hatred for mankind and an appetite for organic flesh. And when the initial defenses fail, Koinon unveils its secret menagerie, and releases the worst nightmares of the dark age, things of chainsaw teeth and mimic-faces, on you.

Edit: A sword is fine too, I guess
[X] Swordsmachine: Masters of blade arts, Swordsmachines are instruments of death. Using their speed and arm-blades to slice apart the enemy frontline, they are trench-butchers. Swordsmachines are shock infantry, duelists, and blademasters.

I was super tempted by stealth archer. Invisibility and sneaking is always super cool, and given how messed with Harmony's head is, she could really use some min-maxing for Infowar. I still might end up approval voting it eventually. But I think Irontamer makes the most sense with her build so far. It's all about communicating with her horrifying war-beast new best friend, right? With this, we'd have 5 in Rythms, but also 5 in Interlace and 5 in Incandescence. That's a communications-heavy build right there. I like the idea of leaning into that further, and I like the idea of going into battle with a new extremely violent friend. (Friends are good to have.) Plus, the Stillness power is, well, I think Harmony could use that calmness for herself especially. It's the opposite of Terror, in some ways. Helping herself and her allies with her inverted soul, rather than turning this intmate part of her into yet another weapon to hurt others with.

Swordsmachine is cool, but it sounds like the most combat-heavy option by far, and I want to minimize the trauma our protagonist has to go through.

Panic spreads in Koinon that they have walked into a trap. There are mass calls for the scrytegons to resign, and for elections to be called to negotiate an eleventh hour ceasefire, that they have been tricked into an unwinnable war by power-mad generals.

local freemen fail Trust the Process check, asked to leave the phalanx.

nah but they've got a point it looks like we should have this war pretty much in the bag. things are looking good! onwards and upwards, Koras!

For this, and this alone, shall I betray Infowars.

It was a book of esoterica written by an oblivion witch, probably having something to do with the Prophecy of Four Suns, which definitely makes some parallels to Miss Normal's SUNRISE PARABELLUM.
Oh I know, that's what makes me interested in learning of the specifics of it.
"In superior hands," Lovergirl says,
Also reading this my first thought was if this meant it might be in Superior Sympathy's possession

Did you vote for a combat class? This vote is extremely close.
