So, this isn't relevant unless we plan on eventually heading over to Wales, but I feel the followers of this thread are the crowd to appreciate it.
Nice to see another of our companions from that little escapade survive to the present day!I remember back in the day, I was part of a warband that brought down a great construct forged from the bones of one of these

Yeah, Copper that has a faint air on antiquity? Sounds like a fantastic material for the narrative side of things. Might even be able to make good bronze with it!Most of it was unexceptional business beneath her notice, but she did find one merchant in a corner, selling some fine copper. He wasn't the most handsome of figures, with a long, curly beard and eyes that looked like he was just an inch from having a nervous breakdown, clearly desperate to sell the ingots. But the goods seemed good, and they did have a faint air of antiquity to them
Beyond that, there was the usual grifters here and there–the main events were a time off, and most of the respectable merchants were still getting set up. I can see a use case for the Beast Tusks, we can probably use it to shift our eventual horse's evolution in the direction of a tanky build, to go with our melee dps and birb's artillery roles, but other than that I can't think of anything else. Assuming that the horse will have an evolution like Crowley did.
For the copper, having some extra decorations for the church would be nice, and we have quite a long time to sort out a source for the rest of the materials for the church and find a good stone and wood place. I don't have a clue what benefit it would provide us, beyond "a better church means a better foundation for you to build upon" and making it fancy should help with that. But for if we should burn a unit of wealth on the (old?) copper I don't know.
Pushing her shoulders back and taking a deep breath, the words come easily as Audrey rattles off her schooling, "Animals, as opposed to beasts and monsters—though the terms are often used interchangeably—are creatures designed by God's hand with the intention to serve as some kind of lesson for His faithful. Animals reproduce, grow, and act in harmony with their environment, whatever that environment may be. Animals develop traits and abilities based on a combination of their parentage and their environment, ultimately settling on one as they reach adulthood. A lake-raised cow might develop the ability to swim and breathe water while a sheep raised atop a mountain might develop wool like stone, to name a few examples."

iDK how precisely that temple thingy works but copper wiring is a thing isn't it?
Seems like we might stumble upon that little revelation and develop greater understanding of Estelonga lightning as a result.
As noted, items alone will not allow this. This pretty much flatly doesn't work. Using the tusks to enhance a horse in some way is...probably technically possible in some magical way, but Audrey doesn't know how and it sure doesn't work as an evolution environment.
This is very much in the same category. It's not technically impossible but you lack the knowledge to get the knowledge to even think about making the tools. This is not, to the best of Audrey's knowledge, a realistic possibility.
Could we ask Reinald for any suggestions on what to do with the items that are bought?
